So. at 04:00 you see a picture mentioning 'Vanaheim' that is actually us ! That is the cover art of our debut album 'Een Verloren Verhaal'. We are a Epic Folk Metal band from the Netherlands and are actually pretty big Anime lovers ourselves though I'm (Michael - guitar player) still catching up with all the episodes.

As the first chapter of elbaf starts we already have all signs of end times (biblical):
1. Fire (in the forest)
2. Tremors (caused by eargod's fall)
3. Falling birds from the sky (bees, but the size of birds)
4. Confusion (among giants and also among SHs)
4. Wars and Rumours of wars (rest of the one piece world)
5. Deception (by Imu and I think also by Loki).
I think Elbaf island is definitely doomed. It will most definitely fall by the end of the arc.
Would make sense that due to rising sea levels Midgard was flooded. Jotunheim, land of the giants, then became the new sea level/base level civilization on Elbaf.

Did anyone else notice that "Luffy" is missing his strawhat and that Sanji is carrying a sword? Something doesnt feel right about the way those two were portayed in the latest chapter. Maybe it has to do something with Loki playing tricks on Nami and Usopp or with the halucinating properties of Absinth in One Piece .
Did you see the weapons of Nami and Luffy changing panel to panel in the last chapter? Also Luffy calling his attack "Gear 4..." and yet he is using a Gear 3 attack? Doesn't look like fails from Oda, looks like all these "mistakes" are intended.

Elbaf / Fable / Babel
The Yggdrasil tree fell during the void century much like the tower of babel and the 'worlds' split and the races spread during the previous Ragnarok
The Bucaneers may have hailed from Helheim, explains Blackbeard's Davy Jones / Cereberus parallels and his Darkness and Earthquake fruit.
This is ironic in Oda fashion because the bucaneers Kuma and possibly Joy Boy being the 'fallen' angels that fell from hell and into being truly saintly characters.
That "We want One Piece to stick around" was the most One Piece fan-relatable thing I've ever heard 😂

Just a little correction, from a Nordic citizen, Jotunheim is not known for being in an endless winter, that's Niflheim. Jotunheim is a barren wasteland, for the most part, but it's not snowy. That was something Marvel made up because they created these beings called Frost Giants and placed them in Jotunheim so they had to make a winterland, but in reality, Frost Jotnar (not giants) are from Niflheim, not Jotunheim. Also, technically, the Jotnar aren't giants, that's also a very common misconception. Most are the same size as the Aesir/Vanir.
Also, the Nine Realms aren't exactly seperate worlds, most of them are walking distance from each other, no different from crossing a border in our world.

I believe the Wotans (half fishmen/half giant) will be very important, particularly after a discussion spured from your Bink's Sake video. They fit very nicely to the description of the race from Kalevala who is supposed to chop down the tree.
Sorry to bust the connection of the place near the >current< sea level to Midgard.
Since the tree would be there for farmore than 900y (basically since the dawn of time), the >orginal< sea level would have been far lower.
Meaning the place near the current sea level would totally make sense to be Jotunheim.
Arlong would be angry at forgetting the fishman race in the first part of the video when sowing the seeds of the trees and races living in specific areas.
Some "um acshually" regarding Vanaheim and the Vanir. The place comes up exactly ONCE in the mythology we have, in reference to exactly *one* dude. Odin is doing a Riddle-Fight with a guy in the Edda and asks him where Njord is from. We never hear of Njord before or after this inquiry, but it seems like Odin's opponent is correct when he replies that Njord was created in the realm of the Wanes (Vanes... those from Vanaheim. The Vanir.) In the accompanying notes in a translation, it's speculated that this Njord is also referenced as the hostage named Hœnir that is held in Asgard as a promise to hold off on the final war until after Ragnorak has begun. Some scholars suspect that this implies an "exchange" between the realms of the gods. Connecting everything together. But there's really nothing there to properly suggest that the Vanir were gods of the same sort as the Aesir, and the only thing we know of the Vanir is that Njord is one of them. Who is Njord? :shrug: Does it matter? Apparently not to the people passing these stories around.

Like, in the mythos, he does everything from spending 100 some years screwing with one particular family's rise and fall because Odin looked at them fondly one time to starting full blown wars by vomiting up a magical ring while disguised as a river carp. And in the end, he was punished for ruining a dinner party.

i never comment on videos but this one made me think of an awsome idea. what if the adam and eve trees are both branches of the world tree. that the roots go all the way though the world and connect to the fish man eve tree and that is how the straw hats can quickly get to marjoia at the end.

Here we go
We've got it all figured out the last 3 arcs will be Elbaf, Laughtale, Mariejois(Final War).
The roles of Urogue, Enel, and all other plot points revealed in Elbaf with a number of battles, either with its own storyline or mixed in, fighting over road ponegylphs and information found on Lodestar Island or the whereabouts of the man marked by flames. It takes place in "warland" so there will definitely be war, what about and where exactly, we'll have to wait to find out.
My Theory: After Elbaf Ussop rallying all the giants to their side he will then finally control 8,000 men. "Giants + Other elbaf people, + luffy grand fleet" and he will die as a brave warrior of the sea in the battle for the last road poneglyph or sacrificing himself to save others either in the final war or so the straw hats can escape from the marines after getting the last poneglyph and then the pirates all scatter until the one piece is revealed and then rejoin for the final war as well as battles leading up to the one piece reveal.
At the end of 1121 the 12 major characters revealed were 4 emperors, akainu, imu, dragon, koby, sabo, kuzan, figarland, and a silhouette to be final big players going after the one piece. I think it will go like They'll all fight each other, however when and who will be revealed with time the matchups.
Imu uses the ancient weapons to destroy the world to start the great flood shirahoshi and the noah saves everyone, the noah and all other pirates head to mariejois for the final war, blackbeard kills Imu takes Imu's devil fruit to get three fruits, to cover the world in darkness, destroy it with earthquakes, and control people via Imu's devil fruit whatever that is and but Law comes back to save Luffy's life with the immortality ability and defeat blackbeard Luffy with the help of everyone else will kill Blackbeard and bring about the dawn of the new world, (removing the darkness, connecting the landmasses, freeing everyone from oppression) putting the world in 'One Piece'.
It's pretty obvious when you connect all the foreshadowing, now we just watch Oda cook in this final war. I'm sure Elbaf will be goofy as hell but that's Oda for you, after this arc though its really just all about filling in the details and the final war.

Oddball theory,
Luffy and Gang run into the Fenrir, or someone using the Wolf-Wolf legendary model Fruit, hoping this would be similar to the goroseis transformations, giving them some experience on how to deal with them, but later on the military could invade and weirdly enough, I feel like the fenrir fruit would line up with Figerland.
As a Gid Of War fan, in the elfheim there are two races was are shown to be in constant war with each other(the dark and the light elves). Wonder if we'll get soen dark vs light elves in one piece 😮
i've been dieing for Usopp to get a major powerup, and yes there are so many references and theories for elbaf it is too good.
If something like the Shandians don’t fit the light elf role, then maybe Nika/the Buccaneers fit there for a relation to the eternal flame
Helheim could be where the original demon comes from, and that could either be a being who inspired a fruit that Imu ate or Imu is an actual demon that grants powers to the Gorosei; I’d lean to the latter, because if Imu is a fruit user and grants power to the elders via that, I would assume seawater would affect that granted power like salt affected zombies on thriller bark
But if Imu represents Helheim at the near bottom, I feel it would make the most thematic sense for Nika/Buccaneers to be at the top in Asgard. In that case, either Joyboy and/or Nika were Buccaneers/Lunarians and both races belong in Asgard (like Buccaneers are hybrids and lost the flame but kept the durability and skin tone), or the Lunarians would be from Muspellheim
I can see the Lego architecture being regional.

I have a feeling that the arc will end with Luffy going giant version of gear 5, or this becomes gear 6, taking down Loki. This will rally everyone of Elbaf to believe in the Sun God Nika "religion" and they all pledge loyalty to Luffy instead of Shanks. This leading to tension between the 2 crews causing a mini arc before the finale.
I think a mini arc will be needed to create the setting for the final battle/arc of a 3 way conflict between: Marines/Gorosei, Black Beard and other villians, and Luffy plus other pirates.
I think the Straw Hats woke up in a Lego village for little people.

Lunarians lived on top of the Redline. Being hunted while on Elbaf, which has been depicted as a difficult land to invade, doesn't make much sense to me. 3:10

I am getting some Thor myth vibes here, specifically the one where Thor and Loki were competing with the giants, can’t remember what for. The giants were able to project natural forces into giant forms to test the pair. For instance Thor was trying to wake one of the giants up and wasn’t able to do it forcing to unleash the full might of mjolnir upon him. Which still didn’t do the job. Later it’s revealed that the giant projected and image of himself on the earth and Thor was just striking the earth which he had cracked open. Later they have to race a giant who ends up being the wind and having an eating contest with a giant who ends up being the embodiment of death/entropy. I wonder if this big cat was so strong because they are being tested. Especially since they have already added manipulated forms of consciousness to the story through the hallucinatory giant booze.
IMU Devil fruit may be upgrade version of sugar fruit because of sugar fruit can make every one to forget who she turns into toy soldiers .

I love the idea of Elbaf having 9 different regions based on the realms from Norse mythology. I have mixed feelings on all these different races originating from Elbaf alone as it would ironically make the world seem smaller. I'll warrant that Yggdrassil may very well reach the sky islands, but wasn't it revealed in Enel's cover story that the Sky people originally came from the Moon? Admittedly, they could've settled in Asgard first, then spread out to other sky islands. Alternatively, the Asgard region might be home to Elbaf's Royal family, who are based on the Aesir Gods.
Whatever the case, I'm so excited for the coming arc, and thanks for another great video .

I know there's currently 10 members on the crew but it seems perfect that there are 9 different subsections to Elbaf as a whole; each member of the crew will definitely come back so so much stronger after this arc; it's a perfect setup before the final battles...
(Also I think we'll inevitably see Shanks fighting BB with a new Canine DF since Shanks is heavily associated with the Norse god Tyr 👀)

I wonder if in Elbaf, because of their love of fighting, they’ve always “at war” with each other in different realms, like it’s almost a celebration. “No Peace in XXX Days!” (OSHA reference)
Their “threat” could be an interruption or end to their fighting, which would be highly offensive in their culture.

Loki is a kid, a “kid king” that makes kid decisions, like putting a crown in a cat, or making a rabbit a god, or creating a lego town.
17:26 what if the giants just use lego for human buildings, cuz it’s really easy to build. It’s like, would you rather try to construct a miniature log cabin with with precision to make it water proof, or stack legos and make a village for fun.
I've been hooked on this feeling since a couple of chapters ago that Elbaf is not at all as strong as we think. It started with the idea that Usopp's story here in Elbaf will be about having his expectations about Elbaf being completely slashed as he sees the sorry state of giants that have no will to fight and he has to be the one to rally them up and empower them. The biggest realization I came to just recently and should have realized since Shanks vs Kid: Shanks only protects the weak. It was rubbed in our noses and we didn't even bat an eye at the fact that Elbaf is one of Shanks's territories. Why else would Elbaf be under Shanks's banner? Even though Dorry and Broggy are combat capable along with the other giant pirates, they are probably the only ones, and can't protect everyone in Elbaf alone.
We know Oda puts a clever twist on mythology.

You should look into the connection between the adopted prince Loki from Norse mythology and the Giants prince Loki from Elbaf. Loki was adopted by the king of Asgard Odin after he killed his parents in Jotunheim. He is Thor's adopted brother. The trickster god of mischief said to lead the giants in rebellion some day. The ancient giants could be of Musdellheim as well and they died somewhere frozen due to ended up in Jotunheim which is the opposite of the fire land where they come from. Just a thought.
Something that occurred to me is that Doll talked about Saul being her boss a long time back and given that Saturn died in front of her, she'll probably get chased by the marines. So I expect her to end up in Elbaf

Luffy & Blackbeard will have to team up against imu.
Once imu is taken down. Then the final fight with luffy and Blackbeard will happen.
Imu had luffys and Blackbeard bounty posters and he cut both of them.
Blackbeard wants to be an “imu” but one everything knows about.
Luffy is clearly the opposite of both imu and Blackbeard he won’t stand for what either of them will do / want to do/ have done.
