Based upon watching your video, we ordered the 3W mats for our new Model Y. We were supposed to get them in 5-8 business days and they actually arrived in 3…with free shipping! The mats are fabulous. They all just dropped perfectly…no fitting, no gaps, no bulges. And the mats that go on the back of the second row seats (a feature that really sold us on 3W) easily securely attached using the Velcro strips on the back of them. Thanks for the excellent review video. We love the mats.

I bought the Kokimo brand in Amazon with 600+ reviews 4.5 stars. The quality doesn’t feel good so I returned it. I took your recommendation and bought the 3W brand and boy, the qualify is much better for the same price. I am glad I got this 3W. Thanks Brian

Thanks for this video. I was going to get weather tech but always felt them too slippery and having too many gaps. After watching this I got 3w, the logo part is right as well! Thanks for your insights!
I have been using the weather tech for the last 5 years and although they do the job the slippery part has got me stumped few times especially when there is snow or rain. Not something I was hoping for the best in the industry. Also the cleaning was not particularly easy as the salt stains never come out unless steamed and used some industrial cleaning equipment as normal soap and brushing did not work. I would go for the 3w and see how that goes. Thanks for the review as your comparison is real.

I have the weather tech on my 2022 Model Y and they fit a bit better than this. I can verify they are not slick with ice/snow/salt/slush during a ski trip up in the mountains (even in 10 degree weather). An not that I care but the stickers are fine. I also liked the weather tech has a deeper back baffle for the front seats (so the water doesn't slosh back during acceleration). The small pieces of velcro absolutely hold them in place

Hey Bryan, great review. Always look forward to your videos, they’re very entertaining and sometimes make me laugh, especially when you’re just being honest. I ordered the 3D mats from Teslarati for my MY in September and they’re on back order so it’s difficult to say when I might get them. I watched your review of the 3W mats and immediately emailed Teslarati to see if I could cancel my order and got a response same day confirming my refund. That was actually pretty impressive and a pleasant surprise. I ordered the 3W floor mats w/o the rear trunk cover - already had a Tesla trunk mat. Got the mats today and they perfect. I also wanted to say that I got the window shades from your review from Evannex and have used them several times already and they work great too. I know it’s not Tesla related, but I’d be interested in a drone video review as well. Stay safe out there and thanks so much.
Oh cool! Glad you're liking the 3W's. The 3D mats look nice too, but I too have been loving the 3W's and I think they'll be perfect for camping or even snowy conditions.
The Evannex window shades have also been great for camping and specifically stealth camping. Glad those are working out for you as well.
I'll probably do a review of the gear/tech I use to film/edit at some point so will for sure cover the drone I use (DJI Mavic mini 2).

I wished I had watched this before buying. Do not by the weatherTech. I have them on my Model 3 and the passenger mat does not cover all the carpeted area. I called to complain and they said it was built to manufacturing spec. I sent them photo showing them that the manufacturing carpeted mat is longer than what they provided. WeatherTech cargo mat aren't a problem, but the interior mats are subpar in actual coverage. They went cheap.
Yep, I was disappointed for sure. I had always heard how great they were and based on the price and advertising expected really high quality, but seemed like cheap junk to me.
Did they send you the right mats for your specific car? Did they order and send them to you directly from weather tech or was it sent to 3w first? Weather tech isn't perfect but I've never had any as bad as what they sent you especially that sticker placement.
Yes it was the right mats. I’ve tried other ones directly from them too. Wasn’t impressed with WeatherTech. For Tesla I’d currently recommend 3D Maxpider as I think they provide the best design and fit.
just bought me a set of 3w mats for my 23 RWD model 3. $179 for all 6 mats with the current promos. when i bought the car it did not come with floor mats.

Bryan, are 3W made in USA? Weathertech's are. I'm currently trying to make a decision since Tesla is out of stock (yes I know they are made by weathertech lol)

Sorry for butting in but for those like me still shopping in 2024 needing mats and referencing the great review, . 3W says they now have frunk and trunk as well as back or rear seat and indicate they are working on the liner and cover for the cubby's either side behind the wheel well. A belated thank you for posting this. I'd love to compare these to the lasfit. I hope to have mats soon.

Totally agree. Seemed like cheap, hard plastic to me. I've been loving the 3W's so far.
Is the 3W odorless?
I believe so. I’ve never smelled anything and their website says odorless and non-toxic.
You didn't open the trunk. I know some liners make it a lot more difficult to open the trunk or to hold it open.
Good point. I have done it numerous times since then and no issues at all. It's clear of the strap to open the sub-trunk, doesn't obstruct the hatchback door when closing and stays in place when open (doesn't slide), but does allow you to fully keep the trunk open. I actually decided to go out to the garage when replying to verify and yep... no issues at all. The Tesmanian one I previously had would slide when I opened it. This one doesn't. I'll pin this comment in hopes it helps others. Thanks for the comment and for watching!
@@bryanhauer When you open the sub trunk, do all of those “nails” pull on the carpet and impede the sub trunk from a smooth opening?

@@nicholasbyrd6945 Nope. It just stays in place when you open it, but still allows it to open smoothly. The other ones I've tried that have no grip on the bottom tend to slide towards the back of the car so sometimes block your ability to grab the sub-trunk strap so you have to adjust it first by using it back in place and then opening it and can move all over when open. This one just stays in place and never moves. I have had it a couple months now and they're still great.
Great comparison but does 3M make cover for back cover for second row seats when it’s down?
Thanks. I don’t believe they do. I have seen a few on Amazon. I know Tesla is shipping new Model Y’s with a rear cover, but haven’t seen any from 3W yet.

@@bryanhauer I just looked into Tesmanian and they do offer the cover for the back seat from the trunk. Maybe you can let 3M know to add it. 😅
If it didn't have the stupid logo it would be a slam dunk. I've looked at reviews all day and this is the one that seems the best. But the logo . . . . I'll probably just stay with the mats the car came with and replace them as needed. They all look stupid and I live in GA. The rubber mats my Lexus has are excellent. I wish I could find something comparable.
I can see your point. I don’t really notice it and the quality is so good it hasn’t bothered me, but would be nice without it or less subtle logo.

I liked the product from 3W, but unfortunately they’re not a legit company to work with so ceased doing business with them quite a while ago.

@@platinum9898 They (3W) were a nightmare to get paid from and were extremely unprofessional and unorganized. They're like dozens of other companies that simply buy a generic mold from China and slap their logo on it. I mean even their name is a knock-off of the well known brand 3D Maxpider. With that said, I did like the material (more of a soft rubber) along with the rubber studs on the bottom for better grip. Regardless of my views on their business, the mats were good and much better than the WeatherTech's.
