    I like the looks on the 3D. I've had WeatherTech in my truck. I was never overly impressed with them as much as everyone else seemed to be. I'm going to wait for a bit longer time period to see how they stay in place and wear. Nice review!

    • @bryanhauer
      @bryanhauer  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! Yep, agree. Was NOT impressed with WeatherTech at all. I really like the 3D's. My only request is they make the rear one a bit heavier. Otherwise they look great like you said, fit great & are super easy to clean. 👍🏻

    I got the 3W for Christmas last year I believe based on your video (got the Tesla (2 weeks ago) so they sat for a long time in storage. Pretty happy with them so far though. The 3D do look a little nicer though. Bought a trunk mat I’m not thrilled with though. Might return that. My 3W didn’t come with a trunk mat.

    • @bryanhauer
      @bryanhauer  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah the 3W's have been great. Definitely rugged & feel solid. I do like the look of the 3D KAGU's more, but think I may use those for when I'm in the city and have my car as a car, but switch to the 3W's when camping. For the normal person who lives in a city and just wants a nice set of floor liners, I'd go with the 3D's. I did find a nice matching frunk/sub-trunk match for the 3D's on Amazon, but unfortunately they were out of stock so didn't mention them in the video and of course as you said 3W doesn't offer that option.

    Ive had them in my X for 5 years. Still look great. They don't move at all. Just got a set, driver, passenger and back seat, for the Y I just bought. I came here to check out the rear cargo area mat. Got the answer I was looking for. I think your comments about them being light is a good thing. I don't want a heavy mat in the back. I use the well back there all the time. Lifting a heavy mat is a negative for me. For me the Weather Tech and 3W super beefy channels look are not my style. I prefer the 3D premium look. When it's warm, I like driving barefoot. The smooth premium finish are comfortable underfoot. Will be ordering a set for the cargo area to complete my set. Thanks for the well done video.

    • @bryanhauer
      @bryanhauer  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yep, still loving them too 👍🏻 Agree with having the rear one be lighter too. I use the sub-trunk for a fridge when traveling and having the lighter option is more of a positive than negative now that I've used it for quite a while and am constantly opening/closing it. Appreciate you watching!

    I have always been a WeatherTech floor mat person concerning my vehicles. I just didn't like what they offered for a Tesla Model Y. I enjoyed your honest review and seriously considering going to 3D for my Model Y.

      I had always heard great things, but when I reviewed them last year for my Model Y I thought the WeatherTech's were cheap junk. It definitely surprised me as I had heard so many good things about them for many years. Maybe the Tesla one's are a lot different than other cars, but not sure. Nice Mats, will the under seat drawers slide in and out with these mats?

    • @bryanhauer
      @bryanhauer  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not sure as I don't have the drawers to test, but there is a small lip that keeps all the dirt and debris in so not sure anything would slide in and out too easily.

    • @bryanhauer
      @bryanhauer  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Possibly. Will be doing a follow up review in a few months. You might have to dump these more often compared to the 3W’s that could use those grooves to hold water.

    • @bryanhauer
      @bryanhauer  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      After over 10 months of use, I can say they hold up great and with a quick wash using a dish sponge and soap, they look like new and this is someone who's been to dozens of dispersed camping spots and on dirt/gravel roads. I do plan to do a one year updated review on them in the next month or two. They're still at the top of my list 👍🏻

      @bryanhauer  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@jjay718 You bet! As mentioned in the video, my only complaint was I wish the rear cargo mat was a bit heavier and had spikes on the bottom, but durability wise they've all been great and it really hasn't been an issue. In fact that's been a plus as I sometimes keep my fridge in the sub-trunk so being able to easily lift the rear cargo area to get food/drinks has been nice. They're solid!
