Why is this hobby so difficult to setup a quad? Binding, protocols, software configs, modes, etc, etc. i have spent countless hours researching, watching TH-cam videos. I spend more time in the setups than flying. These guys rock!
Basil saved me with my T16 Pro. The scroll wheel was messing up really bad, he told me to spin the ribbon cable around on the scroll wheel board inside the radio, well I did it and it works as good as new now. Thank you very much Basil for the excellent over the phone tech support. So if that happens to anybody else, just do what he said and you should be good to go. Took less than 5 minutes to fix.
I 3D printed a battery cover that I modified from the 3D file on the Jumper XYZ website. I made a Y plug wire for charging externally. It works well. The best part about this TX is it is easy to modify. I would never do any of this with my DX9.
How well does this radio run basic DSMX and DSM2 receivers? I've got a large hanger all outfitted with them and in the market for more channels. the cost of the spectrum radios is just gone over the top for me.
Ron DuBray , in the video they mentioned that some of the earlier versions had a problem with spektrum recievers, so by that I’m thinking that it shouldn’t be a problem with the newer version radios. I’ve got one myself and Ive now got the tbs crossfire unit in it, and I can change between those two and with the crossfire I can get some incredible distances. But even with the spektrum radio quads I’ve got, I’ve had no problems.
Hello my t16 dont schow the internal HF module on the menue anymore do you know why this happend, i dont change anything on the Radio. After this i have Flash the Firmware to the latest version but nothing changes. The Radio is delivered in january also almost brand new . I hope you can help me. Gretings from Germany
My Jumper came with open tx 2.3.2. My Spektrum receivers have a bug.. Even with extended end points turned on, I don’t get full travel in all channels.. I could only get it to give me %90 travel.. Is there anything I can try to fix it? Should I try to update it??
This was a very nice! Now my radio and module is up to date. But i still not get any rssi warning from my radio like Frsky Qx7 from xm+ in my drones. When plug/unplug battery from drones Frsky radio tells me "rssi lost/rssi recoverd" But my Jumper T16 pro dont. All audio files are ok on memorycard. Thanks for a nice guide.

Thanks fellas, I'm a brand new T-16 owner (version 1 red logo) and your videos are very helpful. I've just completed the update to OpenTX but there's one thing I can't figure out though.... I program my models as AETR but channel 1 on any RX I use (Flysky or Frsky) is controlled by the rudder stick NOT the aileron like I want. Why is that? What am I missing??
You guys are great. Love your input to Jumper t16. It's a great radio with greater potential, such as a one shot FPV sys in that the screen is large enough to become the radio screen as well as the FPV screen that would be great. When I do order one it will be from you guys, because you do all the up grades before you ship the radio. or do you guys offer the upgrades.? Will you put Open TX on the radio as a paid service. I would want the radio to come with the best upgrades with Open TX.
Guys thank u for the video. I made a mistake when I was updating my radio and I downloaded the wrong thing now if I download in another card the right firmware on the card I should be able to continue? Thank u for all the work u guys are doing for the community.

Quad companies do not like the truth when we converse with them about issues we find. They just like the "THIS IS THE BEST QUAD EVER" reviews which we do not do and therefore we no longer receive many new quads for reviews.
Grayson videos are ok but they move to fast and are not good at explaining how things work...Shumi UAV...has a better channel where he explains how to set up expo, throttle shut off etc...

So the module you sell now has the bootloader? I have the regular version I put the hall gimbles and the internal module but still need the bootloader
Does the new OpenTx Companion allow you to made a backup of your radio?

Jumper T16 can be updated with Companion via USB with PC
