Please follow all rules and regulations regarding radio transmissions.
It is the responsibility of the radio operator to make sure they are in compliance of FCC regulations.
Please be aware there are certain rules and power output limitations regarding transmission on Citizens Band Radio in the USA.
I do show equipment that is not type accepted and is over the legal power limits for operation on 26.965 -27.405 MHz in the USA.
This for educational purposes only.
All of my tests are made, transmitting into a 50 Ohm dummy load.
I would highly recommend anyone watching this video, to study for your Amateur Radio license. A USA General Class license will give you HF band privileges with limited operational bandwidth privileges.

Great alignment on QT-80 ! For anyone wanting to add CW key or digital modes all that info is easy to find on Radioddity website. There has been some changes on the QT 60 to QT 60 PRO model. But both of them will do digital modes just fine. DiGi Rig has Anytone cable set for AT 5555 N II that works on both QT 60 long and short . The radio settings are a bit tricky but once you get them working right them down. makes it easier next time. Audio levels can be tricky . SSTV is somewhat easy . for RX you just adjust volume to you get good decoding of pic. The PRO series is nice that they have a audio out on mic jack. And has its own setting in menu. 10 and 12 meter FT8 has been open word wide at times. 15 meters as well but I use IC 7300 for them bands . WSJT-X setup can be tricky for TX that the radio does not have a ALC display but I do it with a PEP reading external watt meter . The mistake I made at first is the power control in WSJT-X is misleading. It is audio level not RF power. That is sound card to radio audio level . The RF power is the RF power on radio . I find setting TX levels into a dummy load at first makes it much easier. Once you see power max out on meter drop a tad to the point where the max is . Then adjust radio power to what level you want. Most youtube videos show using the ALC meter . I find when running FT8 on QT 60 long keeping power down to like 10 to 15 PEP is fine for longer times . 15 sec cont keydown . for shorter times like hunting FT8 you can go more power but just watch heat sink temp . I run a external amp so 6 watts from radio runs all day cool . You just have to set like USB and 28.074 on radio . Turn off all RX filters and let PC software work. Even the QT 40 can do digital modes. JS8 call and RTTY works as well . All the modes in FL Digi work well on the QT radios. RF is RF all digital modes is is how we modulate it. What ever modes and bands you like the QT series radios will be GREAT ! Same with Anytone . Same factory . 73

It was delivered on Wednesday, installed it in my truck this evening and spoke to Brazil within a few minutes of installation on 10 meters. The radio definitely has enhanced reception compared to the Anytone 5555 in my company truck. Not sure if this is a product of your alignments or just better circuitry. I really think the videos you provide are great! I was showing everyone at work that would listen! -KI5SKB
The receiver is set in firmware so there's nothing to really do as far as aligning the receiver.
The TX side is my improvement. 😉
