@Dongs Dumbass It's PC footage in his review. I also beat it on PC and our lan group has PC coop games of it since the moment it came out. 3 Major streamers streamed it coop PC.
Some people are having problems but he didn't and a good number of people have not either.
Nope works fine. Some people got errors with coop I heard, but many have not. As can be referenced and tracked by now thousands of videos from day one until now.
Also nope no video embargo stated that. In fact video embargo stated time and that was it. Any other lies you want to be easily called out for?

Played 2 hours already and it's so fun! Love how it's not actually a survival game.
That low FPS animation is a feature of Unreal Engine 4, and it has been present in every game done with that engine I've played. Very noticeably in Outer Worlds and Mechwarrior 5.

Imagine how neutered Karak would have been if he went to work at traditional game websites. Karak absolutely made the right move to build his own castle instead of renting one.
Being legitimately funny is great because people like me who buy games rarely still get quite a bit of enjoyment out of the videos. Every game is material for his humor. It's a great model that is clearly working for him.

No mans sky looked at every looter game and thought... what can we steal to make our boring number generator fun. These guys looked at No mans sky and thought "what if it wasn't a randomized unfocused mess"
Correction they looked at ratchet in clank and metroid and thought what if we ripped of those games off lol
because outside of its art stye it plays nothing like No man sky at all.
This game reminds me of Metroid Prime, but goofy.
It had that same overwhelming "holy crap where do I go?" when you get to the first big open area. And it has those not really malicious but in the way critters and special use items.

Thanks Karak. Your input got me to pick it up and make it a date night with the wife. We both love the vibrant art style and absurdist comedy. Definitely a game where you can goof around and laugh while exploring the metroidvania gameworld.
The environment design seems to go for the same type of alien aesthetic as The Outer Worlds, but it looks a lot better here.

Just came back to subscribe, my girlfriend told me that how much youtubers get paid is based largely on subsrcibers and i remembered this guy sayin he was broke and asking for donations. It would suck if this guy had to stop making these videos. Theyve always been the most unbiased game reviews , fast and full of information. I could tell by the tone of your voice within the first second that you were happy about this game.
Didnt even hear of this game. Probably because I haven't been following gaming past 6 months. I I like being surprised by new releases. Reminds me of gaming before the internet. This looks like a good game to add to my collection that is kid friendly for the grandchildren, which I dont have many of (games not grandchildren).
Seen a few of your reviews now. I have to say that the way your reviews are worked, really inform me so much better than other reviewers. I've never heard of Journey to the Savage Planet until I watched this review. I'm definitely getting a Borderlands/No Man's Sky vibe with a sprinkling of The Outer Worlds. I love the game's vibrant visuals. The designs of the numerous creatures are really weird and strange, which I really like. Shooting feels good. Mere seconds into the review and I already fell in love with this game and that's a testament to Typhoon Studios and the effort that they've put into it. Having said that, this is a must buy for me. Thanks once again Karak for another honest, unbiased and detailed review. I greatly appreciate the hard work. Keep it up!

I was curious about this game, so I went over to TH-cam to check any reviews.
I had two choices; GamingBolt or ACG.....I think I made the right choice being here =)
I first watch IGN to get a brief idea if the game is interesting to me. Then I come to ACG to get an actual review to see if it's worth buying. Just watched IGN's review of this and it was mostly praising the game but then gave it a 6?

Nice to see you liked it so much! Only thing that bugs me is that when playing in co-op it only saves the host’s progress. This seems like a perfect game to explore with a buddy, but just like with the far cry games, this keeps me from doing so...

Just recently bought No Man's Sky and couldnt stop playing for days. I actually wish I would of seen this game first.

The game was looking so promising, that was until you mentioned co-op progression doesnt save. Seems abit of a flaw to me
if you're playing with a friend is all good.
It does save, just only for the host player. Seems fair since both player's progress probably isn't synced
Seems like a FPS metroidvania meets No Man's Sky. Never heard of this til I saw this video pop up on my feed but I'm definitely gonna check this one out. The art style alone looks amazing and I love games that properly execute campy humor.
If you're intrested, try supraland, that game might be up your alley.

I just wanted to say how much i appreciate your in depth reviews and that you also include sound which is a huge category for myself as it can make or break a game for me in some cases. This looks great but such a shame there are no Xbox one X enhancements in a 2020 game.

Great review. Just got to say that your review secured a "buy" from a friend at work. After watching gameplay videos and then your review, this was a definite buy from me. When I explained the game to a buddy, I accidentally showed him a different review on my phone. At that point, he wasn't impressed. I went back to my desk, pulled up your review, sent it to him over email, and I hear him shout, "I take it back. That's getting bought!" So thank you for putting a review out there that isn't just a rehash of stale opinions. I understand that everyone is entitled to opinions, but you know what they say about opinions, right?

Literally woke up and saw this video. Maybe heard about this game a while back. Didn't know it was coming out. Your video sold me on it. Been playing it all night and it's some of the most fun I've ever had. Kicking little aliens and making them explode has not stopped making me smile all night. Thanks man! You a real Gamer. One of the few channels I trust. So glad I didn't trust the IGN review... 6! That's hilarious. I guess haven't beaten the game, but most of the time it doesn't get so bad that it deserves a 6. Anyways, thanks again man for your hard work!!
Looks like a fun game that doesn't take itself too seriously.. A return to form of sorts that kind of reminds me of some games of yesteryear.

Something about the graphics and lil alien guys reminds me of Oddworld Strangers Wrath, I cant pinpoint what exactly it is though

Is the pistol the only gun in the game?
There is a pc version issue with the co-op, is there a fix due to fix that? Have you been able to contact the devs and learn anything about it?
It does look a fun game and as I play Astroneer with a friend I think he might be similarly inclined to want to try this but, we both use a pc not a console so this disconnection issue is concerning.
If you like this try Supraland on Steam.

It looks good, but I had a hard time getting from your review what the game was really about. I get the overall good stuff, but I am still wondering as to what the hell I am supposed to be doing, which makes me a little on the fence as to try out the game or not.
as I said its pretty much platforming, upgrading and exploring.
