You have done exactly what I want to do for the most part with your boat. I’m not into the live scope, but as far as the trolling motor and battery replacement, wasn’t sure if that was gonna work out, but obviously you’ve done it so it does work
Nice!, I love to see what others are doing with this boat.I have a 2020 with the 40HP and found the boat can get a bit squirilly in higher wind conditions because it is pretty light. Still, it handled a 4 hour run up and down the Potomac River in up to 20 mph winds without any real problems, using a cautious approach. I'm also thinking about getting vessel view because I'm an info junkie..
The anchor toggle switch is for your lights, not an actual anchor. "Nav" turns both lights on and is for running. Anchor is the anchor position and only keeps your rear light on so others can see that you're anchored.
Honestly I bought a pro 170 new last year for a river boat so I didn’t beat up on my glass boat. And honestly even after I rigged it out with a 6” Jack plate recessed trey etc. I honestly had nothing for it rode completely flat even with a 50hp. Sold it and bought a Lowe stinger and it was 3 times the boat.
