Looks great. You can also drill small holes in the sides of the cooler walls and spray foam insulation inside the walls. This will insulate the cooler even more.
Thanks for saying that, i was just going to post that. I would also think a knock off yeti cooler that's cheap but still for , lets say 3 days carry ice ect... Might be just the way to go, we would have the measurements be worth a look . This is a must upgrade in my books. That will just make my ''worm brain friends' want to come more often...lol
Pretty neat operation and modification that I may come back and do. In my Tracker PT-175, I insulated the factory cooler with 1" styrofoam around the sides and lid. I used Great Foam where ever else I could not reach, as well as the adhesive for the foam. I also added styrofoam on the lid of my live well to extend the life of my catch. All mods. made a great improvement.
Great video! I just finished mine. I didn’t have to cut the cooler’s handle mounts, I just did as you suggested and used a screwdriver to help slide it in. Also, showing where the screws were located was a big help on a couple of them 👍
Very tasteful hack. I don't have this boat, but on my bass tracker, I end up using 48 quart cooler and use it as a live well as well as a cooler. I did the exact same thing with the phone insulating top and that thing is better than the live well that comes on the boat.
GREAT video!! QUESTION: where and how is the drain connected? Is there a drain line that goes all the way thru the hull?? If so, does the cooler take on water while under way? The live wells are famous for water coming in.... is this Mod the same? Probably a good idea to add a part 2 and address drainage.

On my 195 i had to turn the cooler around for it to fit. Didnt have to cut anything. Cooler works great! Well worth the 20 bucks.
Thanks for the comment. Adding one now.
Great idea and a good job!
Thanks
That is cool love the way it worked out it’s gotta be better than the old so called cooler
Awesome upgrade! One of the most popular upgrades in the group lately!
Thanks!

Good video! Doing mine this weekend.
Thanks! Hopefully it will go smoothly
Awesome idea. Gonna try it on my pro 190
I have been thinking of ways to upgrade the cooler on my boat. Thank you for this.
No problem
GREAT video!!

It drains the same way as the factory cooler, it just goes into the bilge. So no drain lines or anything.
Great video! Thank you for posting.
Thanks for watching!
Great video. Just got a 2020 175 TXW and the ice lasted maybe an hour, this will be perfect. Where did you get the new drain ?
I had it laying around it’s just a thru hull for bilge pump. amzn.to/3xqC1no
I know this a old video but where did you find the drain fitting. I can't seem to locate one?
I believe this is it. amzn.to/40OZWcq
there was no drain hose under that ? just picked up mine yesterday gonna try it soon
No hose, I believe it just drains to the bilge area
Super nice mod! Really nice
Thanks!
@@BlueSummitOutdoors welcome!!
Igloo makes a pretty good cooler, superior to Coleman anyway. You can even get parts for them like hinges and latches.
will this work the same on the 195 ?
Not sure. It might, if the cooler is the same. If not you could find a cooler that fits the 195 and use the same method.
What year is this 175 TXW?
2019
