That is absolutely impressive. Reminds me of Batman Returns when Keaton was working on the batmobile, after turning it into the batmissle LOL. That man goes through cars. I love those movies I was 25 when Batman came out in 1989. I bought 4 of those model kits cause I knew I was gonna mess one up. And I wanted to keep a few back for someday when I had a bit more time and wanted to explore some ideas. You did a fantastic job.
I like what you did here. I too was so enthusiastic over that thing, I built one that same year right after the film came out. I added lighting to it, those were back in the days of the old grain-of-wheat bulbs which got really hot in short order! I scratch made the working pop-up guns out of tiny brass hinges I fabricated. I still have it, it all still works!!! Thanks for sharing a great build!
Very original and interesting as a realisation! I also think like you about making each model unique, maybe customising it or creating something new. I made the same model last year, now it's the turn of the classic TV show!
I still have my original model from 92, I was upset with how poorly I painted it but still kept it in a box, only a couple of years ago did I discover the wonders of oven cleaner so I'm getting a second chance to perfect it
@@shredBucketheadshred they are still available on Amazon… I actually embrace my older less refined kits and rarely fix them… it’s part of the journey… I bet your original kit is pretty good.
