I see some people complaining about the chipset being dim 7300 and want a 7200 . But majority of people do not understand this is not sold as a high performance gaming based phone , its just a all rounder budget phone with some few major cons like missing headphone jack and nfc support, and only 1 speaker. This phone is perfectly alright for anyone who just looking for good allrounder budget phone.

For a phone that cost around 200$ i think it's good enough. Yeah it lacks some things like ois,nfc, the chipset could be better but i guess it is more than enough

@cappasgtgaming It actually still a great phone. I prefer this before a Samsung flagship. I even had the iPhone 16 Pro for a few days.. but sold it. Considering price and what you get on a CMF Phone, there is NO match. The more I try other phones the more I just love it. The battery life is just fantastic. A little slow sometimes (like when posting Instagram Reels) but the Nothing OS and the smoothness in it overall makes this cheap phone really something special. Highly recommended.
By adding on accessories like the back case, the price will not be as friendly. If were to use it with base set of black colour, it is no difference to other similar priced device.

It has no NFC, so it's a no from me.... even on a budget phone, I expect NFC for payments and I'd be willing to pay that very little bit extra for it. I think that's a glaring omission.
You pay extra for the 2a’s arguably better design, built, the glyph lights, ultrawide camera, slightly better (to my eyes at least) and symmetrical display.

Really hoping the CMF 2 has a slightly better camera, NFC and 2 speakers then this would be perfect. Would take a slight price bump for that. Wish that screw at the bottom was a programable dial and button like on the buds case too. This is so close in terms of potential. Was thinking about going back to an iphone from pixel but if the nothing phone 3 has those, i might stay android. Unfortunately i think that will play it a little safer than the modding design.

As a working adult, NFC is the #1 thing needed for every phone. Maybe only kids can use this phone because they just want to watch videos and play games? lol
No accessories are available so, there goes the customization factor. Also, it does not recognize SD cards, therefore your storage expansion is dead. Has a number of other tech issues including with Android Auto which is understandable with a new product. But the worst of all is that adequate tech support simply does not exist. Good looking phone, love the nothing UI, and I was really on team Nothing when I got it but I can't deal with mediocre customer service.
As a non-asian I really need NFC. This phone sells worldwide & it misses such important tech. Don’t think that adding it increases price significantly 🤷♂️ Don’t understand it.
No bloat , nothing os , design , customization both hardware and software based samoled dimensity 7300( rebranded but faster than 7050 so better if we consider based variant 6/128 compared to realme P1 fastest in that range)
One of the reason it doesn't have NFC because it's a budget phone. I knew it western countries you all use credit cards but for regular person with low salary in Asia we don't use credit cards here, we use e-wallet/QR Payment, so no NFC is not a deal breaker where as if someone that has money in Asia won't use this kind of budget phone.

The Dimensity 7300 handles everything I throw at it. No lag, no stuttering. The design also seems very impressive in terms of the phone.
It's bizarre they went with a removable back but not an interchangable battery...?
The customizable back covers on the CMF Phone 1 are so cool. And with the Dimensity 7300 under the hood, it's a best for the price.

I think they could've pushed a bit for more performance, but I understand that they're trying to keep it cheap to sell its uniqueness.
Any more performance and it would be cannibalizing the sales of the Nothing Phone 2a which wouldn't make sense.

Customizable and affordable? The CMF Phone 1 has it all. And with a mediatek chip, it's a performance beast too.
