    Dr. Berg has helped me so much in reducing my seizures and mental health problems like anxiety and depression. I mean, like, I've been getting my life back. I have had seizures for the last 20 years, about 15-30 seizures/year. I also had partial seizures in the 20 years before that but no one noticed. Now I have had only 2 seizures in the last 9 months. I've gone 5 months without any seizures at all, maybe I'll just keep going! I'm so happy that Dr. Berg freely gives the info so we might have the chance to figure out how to be healthy, even on our own. I wish I could get those years back, I always felt like I was struggling just to stay awake and I had to be completely dependent on my husband.

    I knew this intuitively but you made it crystal clear with facts. The reason I surmised this was the same reason I knew people that said we had to eat all of our eggs from a carton back in the 90’s were wrong. They slowly reversed themselves telling us that now eggs have the good cholesterol. The same experts told us to totally eliminate salt from our diets. I like your common sense approach. Sad we can’t rely on the AHA to give us nonbiased research

    • @moneyvsfinance
      @moneyvsfinance 5 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      The first president of the AHA was a skull and bones member. Same with APA, ACS, and AEA. A book called Americas Secret Establishment explains how they hijacked education, medicine and intelligence agencies, among there other atrocities. If you hate the AHA it's worth reading.

    • @brians1793
      @brians1793 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@moneyvsfinance Yep I 100% believe the conspiracies, we know for a fact they've happened in recent history before like with Watergate so IDK why people are always acting like you'd have to be crazy to think the AHA would be corrupt and brainwashing people to this very day. The ADA too, Crest being the #1 recommended toothpaste? Earthpaste destroys even the #1 recommended natural toothpaste by dentists according to the ADA. My dental hygienists couldn't believe my dental checkups after getting cavities every damn one for years, then finally after 8 fillings I switched to Earthpaste, and nothing for several years since then except like 2 times but those were preexisting cavities I'd had for years already, mostly just fixing broken fillings. Even most dentists are more brain washed than they realize, why else would unnatural Crest be the #1 recommended toothpaste over the natural #1 recommended, which still isn't great? There's some great tooth powders out there too with activated charcoal and clay, and Peelu tooth powder is great, but their paste has glycerin which coats teeth and prevents stains, but also prevents teeth from taking in minerals from saliva and other things externally. Vitamin K2 MK-4 is important for teeth getting minerals internally, it helped I made dietary changes since then too.
      Even most peer-reviewed 'scientific' studies are so influenced by politics and big universities when it comes to funding and the 'weight' they carry with 'credibility', people forget the scientific studies aren't science, they're by people and are ALWAYS subject to flaws and inaccuracies even when they're an honest attempt to be as objective and accurate as they should be, but are subject to corruption and are often influenced by politics and big money. People say lack of scientific evidence that herbal medicine works means it's BS, there's a REASON there's lack of evidence, the FDA knows much of it not only works, but sometimes as good if not better than medicine. But, they don't like kratom for example because they can't patent it and get rich from it, like with opioids. They don't even like heroin addicts weaning themselves off heroin with it, they'd rather they be in methadone clinics because it makes them money.
      They're trying so hard to get kratom banned, and the AHA is trying to brain wash people into thinking coconut oil is bad, because it cuts into profits they get from GMO refined grain or 'vegetable' oils because that makes them sound healthy. The refined wheat cereals like Cheerios that gets their stamp of approval are a joke, it's sad people think they're healthy. I believe at least somewhat in vegan conspiracies too, veganism at least unintentionally promotes misinformation like all animal foods being bad, literally not healthy at all, dietary and LDL cholesterol being 'bad', when saturated fat from animals is literally the healthiest fat to get a lot of, as long as you're doing strict keto, very few plants are good to get lots of fat from and coconut oil is hands down the best, avocado is a decent one too and macadamia nuts are alright but not much other than olive oil, maybe cacao butter and that's about it. Vegan doctors are either brainwashed too or they know they're spreading misinformation.

    Hey Thomas, some of the big chains have started introducing a larger variety of cooking oils. Sesame, walnut, truffle, on and on. Do any of these newly available oils have extra health benefits that we may need consider? Also, most if not all of them list zero, zero, zero on the back label. What are the rules on carbs, sugars, and other things that allows manufacturers to say zero when it's really not? I think you've explained that on some foods. Thanks and keep up the good work.

    Hey Thomas - thanks for all your great info, yet again 😁👍 I’ve just hit my 6th week of keto! And I have multiple days of fasting within my week. I’m feeling amazing and truly it’s all thanks to your informative TH-cam channels and the detox program. This question may not fit this video but I would love to hear your answer:
    I want to work out in a fasted state, but my eating window is 5 to 9 (I’ve tried to move that block of time earlier in the day - but 5-9 seems to what works best for my schedule and hunger craving) and my workout is at 6am (only 9hours after starting my fast) since I’m in school the rest of the day. I’ve heard before that your body is not in a true fasted state until 12 hours in; am I missing out on the benefits of exercise while fasted with my intermittent schedule?
    Thanks for being here on TH-cam :))

      Im not Thomas,exercising after a 9 hour fast is still good,however it takes 12 hours for you to deplete your minimal carb stores if any.....so your optium work out time would be 12 hours and the longer the better.....so having all your calories at 5pm to 6pm would be optimal if you can.....just keep researching on youtube....the info on youtube is awesome......Thomas's channel is one of my favourites....so just keep watching his vlogs....

    I have quietly replaced all my previously used oils with Coconut oil and have loved the changes . Plus I am getting it locally made and Organic without having to go to like a Whole Foods . A perk, for once, to living in Mexico .

    The problem is the Millard reaction happening to the Apoproteins (tag identifiers) on the lipid carriers. This sugar glycation most likely cause dysfunction to the proteins thus leading to pathological high blood cholesterol. Sugars AND fats = heart disease.

    Thomas great video! I do still have one question. Is coconut MCT better than palm MCT. In Holland I can almost only find an affordable palm MCT oil but I don't know if thats a problem. I'd love to hear your opinion :)

    Is there a chemical difference between refined and unrefined coconut oil? Or is it simply a personal preference on taste? Thanks for the great content. Your videos have kept me motivated in my keto journey, losing over 80lbs of body fat since July 5th 2018! It feels like your a close friend, even though I've never met you.

      Unrefined coconut oil contains amino acids, tocopherols and antioxidants while refined coconut oil does not contain detectable amounts. Unrefined oil has higher quantities of phytosterols at 0.096% compared with refined oil, which has 0.032%.
