I really enjoy the way you make videos. It give me nice ideas for my footages and the envy to improve the general aspect of my work. Few can really appreciate the efforts you deploy to film in tight spaces or with poor lighting conditions. I do.
I really appreciate your "belt and suspenders" approach to fixing the wiring. Yes, you can get it to work (temporarily) by twisting the wires together or just using a crimp connector, but it never lasts. 34:32 Good to see that you're wearing your safety slides. PPE is so important!🤣 The fact that you could do this much work with basic tools, common sense, patience and (I'm assuming) a shop manual shows why "Right to Repair" wasn't even a thing 50 years ago. I appreciate your craftsmanship, both in the repair/refurbishment and the quality of the video and editing.
It's relaxing to watch you work. Great video. I'm sure I'm not the only person recalling bikes of our youth. I had a CB 360T and CB 750K in the 70's. Keep them coming.
That husky set is great. That was my first tool kit. Still use it all the time. Great videos man. I get excited every time I see a notification from your channel!
bro you're one of a kind. appreciate amount of detail you put in your videos. Those sounds of a thing with that thing appearing like in game was awesome. I enjoyed every second.
Love your vids! Some of my most fond memories are going to salvage yards and scoring some great parts! Used to drive my VW thing to the VW salvage yard and spend all day in the hot and humid Oklahoma summer, it was work but it wasn’t! Enjoy your youth and keep the great vids coming😃
To find those places with the motherload of needs and wants. I just found one a couple weeks ago with old doors and windows. I could spend all day in those honey holes .
I enjoy your videos. Great style and you are very good at what you do. I'm like you, I just enjoy fixing things a d the junk yard is like my happy place. God bless you, my mechanical friend .
It is a good idea to use a cloth type of tape. I had a caravan and all the plastic tape adhesive turned into a sticky mess. I took all the plastic tape off and replaced it with cloth based tape which also binds well in a run of several wires. I had to take that off a couple of places as I was doing some upgrades and it had bound well to the back of the tape wound around the wires. Will never come apart. Good using solder and heatshrink. Cheers from Australia
Those 350s were dependable Hondas. I rode a 71 SL350 for years. I even rode it up my Highschool stairs only to meet the Principal standing there pointing me back down. LOL

Snag a gallon of Evap-o-rust. You just degrease and drop your small parts in, move onto something else, then come back in a few hours. I am in no way associated with the product, but it's life changing!
I ain't gonna do any brown nosing, but I will say you sure know how to do some grease monkeying, good to see a young man such as you that can do all that, my hat's off to you Hoss 👍👍! Keep on keeping on with what you do and I'll be watching and BTW, you've been subbed here too! 🤘🤘
I had a 'stable' of 2/350 K4's, I could assemble around 6 or 7 complete bikes at any one time. Would tune em till they would hole pistons and spit out rings on a regular basis so most spent most of their lives somewhere on the repair and rebuild assembly line. I had a pile of over 100 friction plates all marked for their nominal thickness to 'dial a clutch'. Cam sprocket bolts will bite you in the ass, re-use at your peril! Nothing quite like a spun cam on an overlap engine doing 9 grand!
you have all life time, center stand need PB or CR40 and heat both sometime, and then try move. first heat then spray CR-40 etc, suck in tube and help lot try open. or easy elektrolyse, add bowl water and salt and soda, then parts add wire, then add water and battery minus, and old bolt to wire and battery positive, and wait some hour. rust go to bolt and clean all part good.
Hey Simon hows it going, just wants to say huge fan of your channel and keep on doing what you are doing!, but on the other hand i notice you deal with some rust here and there just thought i would mention that "pickling Vinegar" which has 7% acid in it works great for removing rust if you fill a pale up with it and its pretty cheap as well i think its 4 or 5 bucks Canadian a jug, but ya alot cheaper for removing rust from anything bolts small panels or whatever just let it soak in a pale for few hours and brush the rust off in most cases, just thought i would forward that info
Thank you very much for the tip. I’ve tried apple cider vinegar before with good results. Honestly though, most of the time i don’t have the patience to let stuff soak, especially when trying to meet video deadlines.
I was cringing when I saw you throwing the fasteners on the ground in the salvage yard. Believe it or not the factory original hardware is some of the hardest things to find when you restore old Japanese motorcycles like I do. Modern metric nuts and bolts just aren't the same as the old J.I.S. fasteners. Save them or put them back on the parts you took them off. Even if they're rusty you can bring them back with evaporust.
Hi Simon, had a Honda cj 250 back in 1983, 85mph. Got a cbx750 now, engine out. Is this the same yard that L A Nik goes to? Plenty of bikes in that yard. I like the cinematic editing.Might look for a cb 360 with 6 speed box, or 400 dream. 🇬🇧
Wow big difference between the Honda and the Yamaha 350's. I wonder if the Honda is just geared lower? Anyway I have always really liked the CB350. They came out before I could ride. My first Honda was a 1971 CB750.
Hey man, great videos, I love your content. I recently picked up a 74 360 and bought the same mufflers off of Amazon. The reducers don’t work at all. What size pipe did you use to get your mufflers to fit?
