just put my shiny new MINT sticker on the back of my EG hatch this week.. Bring back the chris rudnik with the hat and glasses stickers and air fresheners please.....
Shoutout to matt for saving the truck and trailer. Good man, glad you had the track days under your belt, let this be a lesson to take rest, dealing with this tired would be worse.
Towing heavy with cheap wheels is a gamble. I keep OEM wheels on all my tow vehicles, or reputable wheels with load ratings that are rated higher than the axle and tire ratings.
Not this style, they just have a nut with a notch in the axle you hammer the edge of the nut into with a punch to keep it locked just like chris said he was going to do in the video after tightening it.
Glad everyone's okay. With how much that truck is towing all the time I think it be better if you got a dually. Much safer that way incase you do lose a wheel. Plus 22 inch semi wheels on a dually look fucking killer
I'm glad your collaborating with Trevor, he's a good dude and unfortunately he's not getting the recognition he deserves. Be a good boost to his channel and gets some eyes back on him
As a truck driver for the past 15 years - Keep the boys safe, the hauling equipment needs to be function over look. Losing that wheel could have had several different outcomes. Other people getting badly injured, lawsuit etc. Keep your ass covered and the odds in your favor. Matt is right on the money with his upgrade suggestion. Happy every thing turned out good. Kick da Balllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll!!!!
Agree with Matt here, probably a good idea to use wheels designed for towing at this point since your truck does so much towing duty over long distances. Who cares how it looks, this thing is about making you money.
Arkon are not crappy wheels. Some point they never got torque right when put on or never got checked to see if the lug nuts had come loose after driving a little. Always go back and check if they come loose after a few miles of putting a wheel back on. Trevor at motion auto running those exact wheels and didn’t have a issue on his truck. Glad everyone is safe. But always check ur wheels b4 heading out on long trip pulling a load.
I’m sure the wheel didn’t cause that looks to me the lugs broke off from over tightening them. Had the same thing happen to my truck take it to some one that puts a torque wrench on it an not just impact them on.
Over tightened or maybe coming loose and vibration did it. They did just put the wheels on the truck last minute before the trip and whos to say the wheels were ever re torqued?
I agree, more chances it to be a lug nut failure rather than a wheel exploding. Plus, if the wheel exploded, part of the face would still be on the hub.
Dumpster fire on the mountain? I love all the content from you and Trevor both. Stoked to see more of you guys together. Keep grinding, your whole team, and your head keeps it all real nice to abide my time with.
This shows the quality team and good people. Matt with an amazing job keeping him and Bailey safe. Bailey getting the truck up and going in moments. Glad the boys are okay.
I'm barely into the video yet but I just wanted to say im glad you dudes are alright, good job for Savin it Matt 👏 stay safe! Only real wheels for the tow rig. I can't wait to meet you dudes my lovely Chicago. ✌🏻
Wheel falling off can be scary especially on the highway had it happen earlier this year doing 120km on the highway with my partner and 2 kids in the car was lucky to save it and the wheel not hit any other cars
Mat, you need to be careful with what you’re driving. YOU would have been liable if that wheel flew off and killed someone. It’s your responsibility as the driver to check vehicle roadworthiness. Hopefully a valuable lesson learned for all of you. Glad you’re all ok
@@subarulegacy4203 bro that’s my point. He should check these things before driving across the country. It’s his responsibility to check that those ugly China wheels are capable of towing that much weight
This is the third time ive seen this happen in the last month. I drive a 2019 f250 on 20in KMC and 37's in only use my truck for towing right now i use a single car trailer but plan to go gooseneck. Youve just convinced me to go back to stock wheels. I cant risk loosing everything in one swoop
@@RicerMiata torque wrench needs recalibrated. They were either over torqued or not torqued enough. If the wheels exploded, you’d still have part of the wheel attached to the face and there wouldn’t be broken/missing lug nuts.
Chris you need to realize the amount of miles you put on the truck towing the trailer that thing needs to be serviced and gone through like every other trip the trailer as well
Blame the wheels cause someone left the nuts loose or over torqued them. Cheap wheels hauling too much weight will break the spokes or the barrel. Hostiles aren’t even that bad. Those wheels also have to be hub centric to your truck so it was definitely an install error should’ve retorqued after a few hundred miles 🫠
I wish you said something about premiere pro a few months ago lol I got it thinking it was the go to editing software, it’s made editing a nightmare since. Big learning curve but I enjoy the challenge alittle
Glad everyone is good. But did you get any pics of the damaged wheel or did they just snap the lug studs from them being loose? And the wheel not being at fault
i ordered loads of junk merch to the uk i got it the other day. got to say the junk t-shirt are legit the best fit. and loving my junk banner on my gti
It looks like the studs broke not the wheel... could have easily been loose they just put them wheels on the truck before the trip who knows if they ever got checked. Also could have been over torqued that also causes broken studs
got my shredder the other day. kind of forgot about it to be honest. But i only bought it to support ruddy anywasys so idk how people were emailing trying to rush him knowing it was a preorder.
Hey chris if you want to buy wheels you need to make sure that there E rated if they're not E rated then they will brake off like that becuase they can not support the weight from the trailer
The lug nuts shearing off was the issue not the wheel. your wheel prolly came loose and caused it to shear the lug nuts. Guarantee you check what’s left of the wheel and the lug nut holes are ovaled out. Wheel prolly broke after it came off.

Shirts are fresh!
You need gold wheelz on the 370
Grabbed one 🔥🔥
just put my shiny new MINT sticker on the back of my EG hatch this week.. Bring back the chris rudnik with the hat and glasses stickers and air fresheners please.....
It was an honor to be able to hook up to your trailer and haul it to safety
youre a good man, hope some good karma is headed your way
Awesome job man. 👏
You are a good person!
MVP right here! That kind of act can make all the difference. You're the man!
Legend
Shoutout to matt for saving the truck and trailer. Good man, glad you had the track days under your belt, let this be a lesson to take rest, dealing with this tired would be worse.
chris doesn’t pay Matt enough for this sh*t. Dude could’ve been dead trailing that POS drift car 😂😂😂
Bailey is one of the best additions to the crew in a long time
No foreal just fixes everything no whining just got it done
He's a mini Wyatt from @boostedboiz
Big facts
I miss will but Bailey is way more skilled and he is growing on me
yeah he deserves his own merch tee shirt ,,, Will is still awesome though.
Glad the boys are safe, good thing Bailey was there at that moment to get the truck up and going
Brother put some alcoas on the tow rig, you can put heavy duty tires and not have to change them so often
chris doesn’t pay Matt enough for this sh*t. Dude could’ve been dead trailing that POS drift car
Towing heavy with cheap wheels is a gamble. I keep OEM wheels on all my tow vehicles, or reputable wheels with load ratings that are rated higher than the axle and tire ratings.
Alcoas or bust.
Can't wait to see Chris's E36, looks like he's making great progress! May his K2 Clear tails last forever! Glad Mat and everyone is OK!!
Big shoutout to Matt for wheeling that super duty. Honestly love the truck/trailer content.
Curious to see the dudes reaction who owned those wheels lol.
They arent rated for towing a heavy trailer
Axle nuts typically have castle nut or nut cover and held in place with a cotter pin just for that reason to keep them from backing out.
Not this style, they just have a nut with a notch in the axle you hammer the edge of the nut into with a punch to keep it locked just like chris said he was going to do in the video after tightening it.
You also have to torque it with a torque wrench makes sense why it backed off.
Glad everyone's okay. With how much that truck is towing all the time I think it be better if you got a dually. Much safer that way incase you do lose a wheel. Plus 22 inch semi wheels on a dually look fucking killer
Glad the guys are okay!!! Good shit keepin the whole rig together and gettin it back on the road guys!
Wheelman Matt saved the day! Good recovery!! Glad y’all made it
chris doesn’t pay Matt enough for this sh*t…
Good work Matt, Bailey and Chris.
I'm glad your collaborating with Trevor, he's a good dude and unfortunately he's not getting the recognition he deserves. Be a good boost to his channel and gets some eyes back on him
Glad I could supply the wheels and get you guys back on the road!

DAMN GLAD that Mat and Bailey are good man i know that could have been really really bad !
Just glad Matt and Bailey are OK super scary situation
Glad y’all are ok! That could of ended up way worse.
Ruddy didn't that axle nut adjust the wheel bearing? I think you ramming it down with the impact just Tightened it up too much lol
He set the preload to a nice even 500 ft lbs
Glad the boys made it over without tagging anything! Props to Matt keep it up buddy
Times like what happened to Matt and Bailey builds life long friendships! Glad you're ok !
Holy crap glad everyone is okay!!!
You know todays gonna be a great day when Ruddy uploads early 🍻 thanks for making me lunch break a little more exciting
So glad everyone’s OK🙏🏼
glad your safe matt/bailey , man ive heard the storys of towing with aftermarket junk wheels this is proof right here!
Glad everyone is OK 👍

Hey, Ruddy. Really cool to meet you and Trevor the other day. I didn't know how to tag you on FB, but I did try. Thanks for all the Stoke!
Hats off to Matt for getting it stopped safely. High five Matt 🖐🏻
you guys bouncing back and forth between dilemmas was actually really great editing, and entertaining.
Definitely gotta get Chris a JUNK and MINT banners for his shop Rudnik now that hes got it looking nice now next hes gotta paint the walls !

18:55 I don't care how long it takes to get the hoody, I want to see Chris and the team successful.
Too bad Chris don’t have a dashcam in the truck, Matt’s a fuckin trooper dood!
Mat, you need to be careful with what you’re driving. YOU would have been liable if that wheel flew off and killed someone. It’s your responsibility as the driver to check vehicle roadworthiness. Hopefully a valuable lesson learned for all of you. Glad you’re all ok
Not like you see that comeing get real here smh
Yes anyone could have known that this would happen smh 🤦🏽 shit happens bud
@@subarulegacy4203 bro that’s my point. He should check these things before driving across the country. It’s his responsibility to check that those ugly China wheels are capable of towing that much weight
Mattttt dude CHRIS PUT STOCK STEEL WHEELS ON THE TRUCK, AFTERMARKET WHEELS CANT HANDLE THAT WEIGHT!
So glad the boiis are safe!! We can only tow trailers at 57mph(90kmh) in New Zealand.
Stay safe out there!
Can't wait for you guys to open your own shop both chris and chris deserve it. can we get matt a trophy for saving the truck and trailer
Fuckkkk bro glad everyone is okay! And good job Matt !!!
Glad Matt and Bailey Survived the wheel debacle.
I'd recommend Alcoa wheels 💯
So glad Matt & Bailey r safe Holy fux 😮😮
The Big Axel Nut is supposed to be hammered in on 2 spots to protect it from back in out !

Oh man Super bumbed to hear about the truck wheel but pumped ya boys saved that. Also Keep the wagon!!!!
I’m glad you everyone was ok
Some people just have perpetual bad luck
Matt talking shit about aftermarket wheels and wants to run semi truck wheels and super singles 😂
Wow I drive down 70 right there often I’ll keep my eye out for the gouges in the road that’s crazy!
That damn wheel was hostile af to Ruddy's truck
Awesome video guys!
17:07 plastic razor blades work very nicely for stuff like that.
Whenever matts driving he needs to have a dash cam on mans is a wreck magnet.
Them Larry Ott wheels boi
You can run some good looking aftermarket rims just try to keep it around 12 inches wide it’s close to stock foot print of it
The wheels were loose that's what breaks the studs not a wheel cracking. I fix them all the time.
Glad everyone is safe but honestly bro going 80 WITH A TRUCK AND A TRAILER THAT SIZR IS JUST ASKING FOR IT
DE's are underrated, just check the oil every fill-up. Rev-Ups chew through oil 100x worse in my experience
You and trev are my favorite duo
With the GSR motor going into the crv what happened to the crx
I can totally believe it! You just asked about the truck wheels.. wish I had your number to pre warn you.. definitely we’re warning signs..
Glad everyone’s ok tho.
People tow with hostiles wheels all the time I think it was lack of lug nuts being on tight
The lugs were tight. Bailey actually makes it a point to torque wheels before leaving on long road trips
@@RicerMiata torque wrench needs recalibrated. They were either over torqued or not torqued enough. If the wheels exploded, you’d still have part of the wheel attached to the face and there wouldn’t be broken/missing lug nuts.
Some wheels will loosen wheel nuts
Chris you need to realize the amount of miles you put on the truck towing the trailer that thing needs to be serviced and gone through like every other trip the trailer as well
Lol, don't use stock studs with offset wheels. You upgrade the head studs on a block if your running high horsepower, do the same with wheel studs.
you boy do some SICK WORK dude
he is a beast

I feel ya as long there safe the truck is fine but I had a 84 GMC going down the interstate my transmission blew up on i-75 but we saved it
10:08 that guy really picked a bad day to wear that shirt 🤣🤣🤣

Chris should 100% paint his roof raptors black to make the wall art pop more
“Without those track days we wound of died” LMAO
Semi wheels look sickkk
I had hostile wheels on my truck and never had issues with them. Although I have a half ton truck and I only tow a 21’ boat or a atv trailer.
It looks like the studs broke not the wheel... could have easily been loose they just put them wheels on the truck before the trip who knows if they ever got checked. Also could have been over torqued that also causes broken studs
Studs could have broke once the rotor smacked the ground, wheel probably had a hair line crack and towing that much weight probably shattered it
got my shredder the other day. kind of forgot about it to be honest. But i only bought it to support ruddy anywasys so idk how people were emailing trying to rush him knowing it was a preorder.
“My mustache” 😂😂😂😂
Chris is a sick dude, that Z looks awesome
Damn the z came out sick Chris did a good job! 🔥
Wild that’s in my home town never of though y’all would be in warrenton lol I wish I could of helped.
Shoutout Matt, good save dude
Gives Damien monte vibes lol
You should throw some 22.5 Alcoa wheels on 35s on the truck. They’re like a semi truck wheel.
Time for a new truck. Doing more towing this year than ever. If you upgrade anything, upgrade the tow rig
you are supposed to hammer the axlenuts so they cant unscrew., they have a flat spot just so you can dent it in.
Shredder hoodies is siiicckkkk. Got mine fairly quick(for a preorder) & I love the quality.
At 10:34 Need some Rodknock Unluckiest / Luckiest on the front and back of a shirt Merch

The maroon colors 🔥
love the JUNK x Motion Auto colab video's
I'd like to think that Matta recent drifting saved both their lives.
*Shit he actually says it !
