    Anand there was too much interruptions from your side. Some of the questions were left partially answered. Otherwise everything was great 👍🏻.

    Great interview. I can't understand why the interviewer thinks PM Midi should have apologised to PM Netanyahu. India's actions have to be India centric. I learnt for the first time when the first Chinese intrusion took place when Chinese President was visiting Ahmedabad, India had mobilised 9000 troops to counter 1000 Chinese intruders. It looks like a must read book.

    The book is awesome. Every Indian should read the book. It gives you good perspective on modi leadership and vital role played by National security adviser and army. Plus many insights which are very captivating.

    Reason for India's vote against isreal is simply to not displease Iran whre we have strategic interests with chabahar port and INSTC, and also arab world where we have huge diaspora, we also are completely dependent upon these countries for our oil requirements.

    • @rsss8659
      @rsss8659 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      AKSHIT GUPTA yes one of the reason. But not the major reason. As the guest rightly pointed out, foreign policy shows the mindset of the nation. India had to show to other countries that we are stable and our policies are long term in nature. I agree that Iran would have been one of the reason, but not a major one.

    • @akshit5795
      @akshit5795 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Agreed, India do have a 2 state policy with regards to Israel and Palestine and thus it stuck with its policy and rightly so ; was just trying to highlight the point which have been missed in the interview as ofcourse it is very hard to cover all the points in a 70 min interview.

    The speaker is so polite in looking in the eye of interviewer and answering questions. Whereas the moron looks everywhere in the world acting as a big shot in front of the camera. Very petty behavior.

    Time to chuck the non-alliance policy and maybe side with the nato (although open to Europe it has US and Canada as founding members so maybe an exception could be made)?

    One feedback to the interviewer to allow Nitin speak. We are here to listen to Nitin not you. He keeps on interrupting him and not allowing him to complete his sentence. Taking interview doesn't mean to keep interrupting to show your presence rather we are interested in understanding what Nitin has to say.

    Poor conduct of interview by the host Mr. Anand. He is not 'listening' to Mr. Gokhale which seems disrespectful at times. He might have his own view about things but when you interview someone you have to put them aside.

    Very good interview, but for too frequent interruptions. In regard to post Uri attack the media behaved badly hurting the sentiments of our soldiers who were prepared to die in that action. I disagree with both of you concerning publicising the CGA report. The media would have played up the shortages benefitting our enemies. Our media is immature.

  • @adityavedam1174
    @adityavedam1174 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Mr. Anand grow up a bit..in your nonsensical zeal to cover your list of queries within your allotted time, you end up disallowing Mr. Gokhale the satisfaction of having answered any question in full..
    Learn to be a patient listener..
    Listening is often the most essential prerequisite to learning when you are a novice in the area yourself

    Irritating and undisciplined interviewer. Thinks he is the smartest guy in the room. He is more interested in domestic politics rather than letting the guest speak about his experiences. This talk could have been much better with a more calmer and matured interviewer.

    This is the most annoying host I've seen on New Laundry. Instead of constantly interrupting Nitin, he must listen after he asks a question. Anand must understand that viewers are here to listen to Nitin and not him. I turned off the video within ten minutes. I am buying Nitin's book instead, to learn what Nitin has to say. This is so annoying.
