Good Info, however the biggest Problem with FB Marketplace... You can not specify a Time Frame when the Ads were posted... so anything older than a week - will only say exactly that - "posted more than a week ago" (but it could have been 6 or 12 months ago... ) a "Sort" by "newest" would be a big & necessary Improvement !!!

Do you find that communicating with the owners difficult to negotiate a rental and do they raise the price to expats? Is it easy to find English speaking real estate agents?

Interesting - I am planning on coming for the month of Sept with 5 adults and 1 2 year old. I usually use expedia as the airfare is included and they advertise vacation rentals. Do you find MP is reliable? There are so any scams here in British Columbia where I live. Our budget is 10k CND a month.

You can get an education or volunteer visa. This is the most common route in Thailand. Plenty of other options as well.
I need a roomy home close to shopping not far from beach. Not trying to move to Thailand paying 1000 a month. If that’s the case I might as well stay where I am

the problem is no one talks about renting with pets, large dogs etc.. in FB market place you cant refine for that either. There are a lot of scams

I can't get the fb marketplace to search rentals anywhere outside of the city where I live.

@@AbroadInThailand if you’re promoting the home like you’re the agent then I shouldn’t have to follow ‘instructions’ you are suppose to assist a ‘possible buyer’ People like you cost sales as well as add a scar to the industry and TH-cam just her for views, likes, and followers.Advice..Actually Providing a Service..rather than a useless channel gets recognition and subs.
