A regularly asked question is what’s the difference between the BF and Capone, it’s in the description but I guess people like visual so I’ll be looking to add a comparison or use something as a reference to size, thanks for the suggestion and solid review 👊🏼
I'm not sure the Capone should be thought of as knuckles in the classic sense. Maybe a door breaching tool! One thing for sure: Don't hit anybody in the head with these unless you're damn sure it's a lethal force situation. It would be awfully hard to make the case that you just meant to stun with these things, unless maybe the opponent was wearing a riot helmet, and even then....
My only gripe with the Capone vs the Baby Face is the Capone seems to have a fairly short brace. Of course you never can truly tell how it will sit in the hand until you try it. I'm also very far from any kind of expert in this, so maybe a shorter brace leads to a tighter fist curl which is better? I don't know. The 3/4 thickness sounded cool as it must be a beast. On the other hand, the bigger and thicker a slab of metal is, whether that be knucks or a pistol or anything else, the less comfortable and discrete is is to carry around. Of course that's all just hypothetical in places where you can't carry these. That weight is for....keeping the wind from blowing the papers off your desk, you know, in case they ever install windows that open!🤣 It probably would be good on the website though to have some side-on view pictures to get a a sense of thickness. At any rate, he seems to do top notch work, and it's cool to have the option of a handmade premium version in a category that's really just saturated with mass produced product from China.
Shorter brace allows for a higher ride between your 2nd and 3rd knuckles...giving you a much more natural fist orientation during a punch! Back in the 80s we used to cast our own out of hard lead alloy. through trial and error we discovered that a short thick brace or fist pack worked the best.

they're cool but tbh idk why are they made in brass so often, steel is heavier and can be hardened so that it'd be impossible to even put a dent on it. stainless steel will outlast brass or anything else than titanium really, and for knuckles you can absolutely use the cheapest steels.
