I have just opened a couple of Rosecrafts, so the difference in quality is really apparent. I wish Bear and Son could get their details right. I'd cheerfully pay even more than the $60. Good review.
@bigjim55able thanks! I agree with you on the quality and fit and finish of Rosecraft blades. They are killing it lately. I don't know why US knife makers can't do the same, even if it costs more. Thanks for checking it out.
The bone on that one is beautiful brother, and CS-can't beat that!! I agree that $60 is top of the mark for that one but you got a smoking deal for what you paid!! The little things wouldn't bother me much at all for what you gave. Stick her in the pocket and start getting those TINERS!!
That is some pretty Bama red. I wish they could step up and compete with some of the other big name companies but I think they are settled in were they are, I don't own one of their knives yet but for what you paid, not bad at all
Received a B&S Barlow with rosewood covers as a gift. It has great fit and finish. Don't know if I would pay $60 for it. If I was going to spend that kind of money, I would buy a Buck or a RoseCraft.
@@DavidBurge-xf8zx this is my only B&S Barlow, so it’s good to hear from others about other B&S Barlows. Thanks for telling me about your Barlow experience David. 👍
You did real well for $29. 45-55 is typical. Red hill offers great discounts, but their base price always seems high to me. The shield refers to 4 generations of family ownership committed to carbon steel traditional knives.
Great vidjah brother!!! I really dig mine! They tiner up really purdy!!!! If you put it in the sunlight it looks like a strawberry! 😁 Have an awesome and blessed weekend!!!
I got one of these Beauties and was thoroughly impressed with it for $29.00!
Glad to hear you like it. The red bone is nice on it.
Beautiful covers. Must be sold out. Can’t find it at RH. Thanks for sharing.
I just looked, and I don't see it either. I guess it's sold out. Bummer 😔
Beautiful knife! I love a Barlow! One of the first knife patterns I remember using.
@@ClarksKentuckyKnives thanks. I like the Barlow pattern too.
i love that Barlow! A great looking knife. Good job sharing it with the community buddy! Keep up the good work. Hope all is going well!
@davidwilliams1805 Thanks , David, I'm glad you liked the video.
I'm with ya on the Barlow - love it for $30. I don't know that I would buy it at $60. Great review, brother!
Thanks Bryan, I like it but just question its value. Thanks for checking it out.
Thanks for bringing that to us.😊
My pleasure 😊
