Nice one. SP was meant for military Issue, but i never understand a lot sp models seems too dramatic for military use.
SEALs carry tomahawks. Marines are usually too strapped to carry anything but what they have to, and they aren't trying to kill anyone quietly. Maybe the rangers would? idk It could have just been marketing, idk.
Diggin the knuck vids
Thanks for watching!
Wonderful.
Ha! Good to see you do guns too, i just picked up an LE version of this in .40 cal today. Only problem is the previous owner lost the takedown lever detent spring and i didnt recognize it until i got it home. Hopefully beretta will warranty it but who knows. 😑
You might be able to find one for cheap on ebay or gunbroker
Renaissance wax is what is approved for the royal heirlooms in the British Monarchy officially
True!!
@@TheMartialist I started down this rabbit hole just trying to find the ingredients to bowling alley wax and maybe a comparison to paste waxes but I can’t find anything out there about using bowling alley wax on wood for finishing. I assume that it was originally used as a hardening type wax that was put on as a finish to seal the pores of the wood, but I can’t actually find any evidence of that
Cool review. Rough Ryders got me into collecting slipjoints. It was the first year of the pandemic, I started getting into pocketknives in general. Started with the modern stuff, but then saw videos like these, and thought I’d give them a try. Everything you said was correct. Ppl shouldn’t compare these to GEC, I understand why you did, and completely agree, but I’m referring too in general. However, I would say they’re comparable to what case puts out these days, with all their blade wobble, gapping, mushy action. I think rough Ryders are a great knife to try out different patterns. Never knew I like copper head until I tried theirs , which is a little different from cases, but similar handle shape. I just bought this wharncliff off SMKW, never owned a wharncliff trapper before, so I’m excited to see how it preforms. Their T10 carbon steel is pretty good too, I hear it’s basically Chinese 1075. Takes a nice patina. I wish I could get my hands on a GEC, I’m a big fan of Bill Howard’s stuff from when he was the master cutler at Queen. But it’s too hard for me cuz I’m not the kind of person to do knife drops, I don’t like company’s dictating when I have to buy their product, and they def don’t make enough for the demand, so the secondary market is crazy. Literally ppl buying 2 at once from a dealer, and selling the second one for twice the price to get the other one for free basically. I’m all about the free market, but I can’t support that cuz it will only get worse. So I stick with the 80s and 90s Winchesters and shatt and Morgan, made by Queen under Bill Howard’s watch. they’re every bit as nice, and you can get a deal if you’re patient. Appreciate the fair review you gave this knife, I just bought mine on sale for $11, hard to believe. We def live in a cool time to buy knives, wish all those great American companies didn’t close, that’s the down side to it nowadays. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching, and the very thoughtful comment.
This guys freaking me out 😂
I'm digging the aggressive angle on that clip point. As far as attachment solutions for appendix or scout carry or actually any other configuration I've personally tried. I've found IWB soft loops to be the most versatile and comfortable. That being said I've never tried the Ulticlips. Any good?
Ulticlips can be very very useful, but sometimes they aren’t as good as other solutions. I have some belt loop attachments I’ll have to try. Thanks for the idea!!!
thats a real cool edc and good price
I agree!!!
Bought 3 items from links you shared, free enterprise =🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Hell yeah!!!
Why is the biped talking to me?
Is it possible for this to get ship out of America to a different country out of America if I ordered something like this?
It certain out will, if you use a proxy service.
Those definitely look devastating. I think I like that apache thorn you have better though. The apache thorn's lines look a little more elegant, sexy, and ergonomic.
Thanks for the thoughtful comment!
Those would look nice with a vintage brass padlock.
Great idea!
Yeah you have no idea what yiu are talking about. Its a boot knife....it can be attached in the outside or just clip to your belt. It has one purpose...to stab a few times once and thats it. Its not w bushcraft knife. Its not an edc package opener knife.
I like it!👍🏻🇺🇸
Thank you!!!
I own this knife in N690. Paid 100 bucks for mine Ebay.
Well the important thing is how the customer service treats you at Bradford knives. I tested a OffGrid and was doing normal testing and the tip just came off. There website says lifetime warranty. They you read the fine print. I sent them email, IG messages and a video of what happened and got ZERO reply. Bradford should replace this. We pay a TON of money for very overpriced knives. The manufacturers need to be accountable.
I never thought of that! I'll reach out to them and see what they say. I wouldn't be surprised if what I did isn't covered, though.
It looks like a piston from a engine..cool stuff👍🏻
It does!
Nice one to keep in a vehicle, I make my own but this guys stuff is top notch and mine aren't pretty but solid and dependable.
👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸
A beauty!!
Thanks!!
I like 'm👍🏻👍🏻
No comments yet?! Oohhh man....I love these reviews ❤
:)
I like this one ❤👍🏻✌🏻
It's a beautiful piece. I can't wait to use mine. I love the color scheme also. My M May in Bog oak is the same. There are way too many wide gaps for a custom.
I don’t care about gaps if it’s not a GEC.
@TheMartialist Oh I see. It didn't bother me until I started collecting GEC and expensive knives
That secondary blade isn't bad at all. Consider touching it up and lowering the kick with a file. It is designed for that- you file down the kick when wear causes the blade to be too proud in the closed position. That knife has good wear that beautifies it and lots of life. It would go straight into my daily pocket carry.
I have narrow hands, so thin walls between the fingers is a must. I think the WW1 style is good for smaller hands too.
What's the name of the sap maker?
I don’t recall, but I know I will tell you in the original video I did on it.
my favourite weapon
ahahah only if it's not gay
lol I mean you can use regular paracord and it'll hurt just as much.
😮 Never thought I would be attracted to a couple pieces of leather and a lock. Little over 1 1/2lb? Thats gonna leave a mark. Great vid man
Nice knuckle ring. Most normies think of prepared people as paranoid mental nuts. Though the normies need to understand that they can't pick and choose how many bad guys and what's in their arsenal to do harm. Apparently all you need is a phone and 911 because the lack of responsibilty wanting another grown man to protect them is the most civil thing you can do in split second decisions. Actually makes me sick. Nothing personal against Europeans but i'm like where tf is your brain at? Lol
I don't believe you.
About what? I filmed this awhile ago.
If its something i think is cool but wanna carry, i buy two.
Same! But there was only one of this item in this size. Maybe I’ll pick up the remaining size.
Fasting is the shit, lmk if you do that 10 day fast. I'm down to do one at the same time 💪😏
Day three today!!!

The "yangsings" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Sorry, I'm a yankee.
Again nice ones
Thank you! Cheers!
Say there, i got these same patent boxer in aluminium/ alloy..very very light though.. Are these a bit of "okay ish quality" knucks or?...I'm afraid that they would break easely...
I have those, too, if you’re talking about the ones EKC did. ECK stuff is good to go. I don’t think you would be able to break them if you tried. But maybe if you put them in some sort of vise or press. I wouldn’t worry about breaking them.
Aha thanks sir/ man😊👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻@@TheMartialist
Oeh yes nice ones! I just polished one of my brass ones
HELL YEAH
In my experience, Bear and Son do a crap job with quality control. Every one of their knives i have purchased come with fit and finish issues, some glaringly obvious....downright sloppy and careless in some cases. Which make me wonder how drunk the QC person was that did the final inspection or if that inspection was even done. Buyer beware..only buy if you can inspect the knife in person..otherwise expect to be disappointed. These Barlows seem to have received better attention but their track record suggests you cant trust they will all be the same quality. I Hope they will maintain a higher standard than in the past.
I agree
You sure you want that pera blue on your skin?
Idk
@@TheMartialist I just feel it may give chemical burns or something. Judging what it does to steel, I wouldn’t want it on my skin
