Chris has been a good friend of mine for 5 years now. He’s true to what he says and has always been a straight shooter. It’s great to see his story out there as an inspiration to other operators that share the love and dream he does. I can vouch when he says she’s an old rat rod, nothing worse than riding shotgun through a truck wash with him and catching a shower yourself!

I am from Sweden and worked farmjobs in California and Florida back in the early 80s. So seeing Homestead brings back good ol memories🤠Homstead back then was was the worst area in Miami region. This was when cocaine was booming. I drove a truck way out in the swamps to pick up veggies from the field to the packinghouse. Little scary with 50 haitian people, and just a few could speak the language. Little blond swede could have dissapered without a single trace🤡 It was in different wodden crates depending on what kind of greens. Truckers from all over came, like Chicago, New York and so on.
The air was often tense since drivers then took all kind of ”vitamins” to keep them awake.
Went back three years ago, the railway was the only thing that look familiar. Andrew hurricane blew the whole area more or less clean. Really crazy how much the whole Miami area has grown.
Really nice trucks you got! Drive safely.

Even for me it’s changed so much.Moved out of Miami to ND in 2011and later on to Texas.Every couple of years when we go back it’s changed especially the Homestead area. I can remember looking out the class window at Homestead High school and there where trees and now it’s apartment buildings.

What you know about the gouging powder? I remember as a youngster going border to border and coast to coast. Never hitting a chicken 🐔 coup. Paper logbook. No Obama clock.... them were during the outlaw trucking era. Trucks would do up to an plus 100 mph .... great times. It amazes me how dumb people are.... if not for truckers the world would collapse.... they can order online all they want. Who do they think delivers the merchandise to begin with ?
