Ive said a lot of bad things about Ivecos over the years, all justified, but theyre building some really good vans at the minute. My day job went over to them from transits about 6 months ago and they've been no trouble at all 😮
Yeah I did have some before ivecos and didn't mention it before tbh! BUT yeah it's improved.... I prefer the old transits personally.. love the new ones look wise, but heard too many negative things, but hey I guess you hear a negative more, than any positive comment eh! Thanks for the watch. GDB
Thanks Greg. Nice job creating a multi role recovery van. A few years ago the local copper was on the motorway with an HGV that stopped and caused a major traffic jam preventing tow services from getting there. He was driving his Police issued Mazda Bounty. He hooked to the HGV and gave it a tug but nothing moved. Clicked on low range 4x4 and that made the difference allowing him to very slowly pull the HGV to the next lay by. Not just for offroad it seems.
Very good video, liking the different style, especially the map showing how far your next job is. Makes it much easier to follow if you don't know the area. 😊
Greg, question about your Soft-Road Cannock Chase excursion. Did you have to get special permission for some of the route. I recognise some of it as publicly accessable, but not other bits.

the "not headlight" which is the normal headlight in the 4x2 version doesnt light up, but if its the same part as the normal ( is it?), then can you program it so it shines together with the high beams?
Possibly. Iveco have to disable it because it’s too high off the ground with the 4x4 lift to be legal, hence the lower headlights. So whilst you probably can get it working, you technically shouldn’t …
@@geko7844thats what I thought. And thats why I said "high beams" because you already only use high beams when there is no oncoming traffic and no one else is in front of you. So technically it would act like those additional circle lights on trucks from the 90s, or light bars nowadays. You know, now you have lights that you dont use, that way the original low and high beams would be "high beam" and act like spots and floods. And you turn high beam off when someone else is on the road either way. Thanks for the reply tho. Cheers mate
