5:50 "Everybodys got to put a ring on a knife". I feel that, but the Cabox does it right because it's a skinning knife. You hang the knife on a branch while you're cleaning your wild game. That way you don't have to put the gunk that's all over it into your sheath.
WMK sent an email they were back in stock so I ordered the Elgon. Very pleased with it! There is no rattle and it is not going to fall out of the sheath. Oddly enough it comes out easily with my right hand but I am a lefty and cannot get it out. I gotta work on that. Thanks for the discount code! My wife brought in the package and as I opened it she beamed because it looked like it was a jewelry box. Sorry to disappoint her...will have to get her something to make up for that and remember not to open it in front of her. As an aside, I recently purchased two USA made Old Timer from their Generation series. The knives are well made but the packaging just shy of a blister pack was disappointing! Even at 50% off, they are close to the price of the Elgon or the Rosecraft knives and their packaging are top notch. This is a competitive market and it is a shame that a US made knife would be shipped in such generic packaging.
Yep, those Kizer fixed blade boxes do look like jewelry boxes! 😂 Sorry your wife got disappointed! Enjoy the blade, I think with practice you'll have no problems removing it from the sheath. 👍🗡️👍
Elgon -3.95" blade / $65 Pre-discount code Cabox-3.35" blade / $59 Pre-discount code Both "Out of Stock" or is it "Pre-Order"? Sometimes White Mountain will say "Out of Stock" when new items "on the way". Both knives are attractive to me, but I think I favor the smaller "Cabox" because it is smaller and closer to "legal carry" size.
Companies should stop using D2 in outdoor/ bushcrafting knives, especially when there is a great option in 14C28N. It chips, rusts and it’s hard to sharpen. I know it’s really cheap to make in China, but I would pay a little more for something better.
Good looking knives! Great video 👍

Great point. Need some "skin in the game" to know! 👍🗡️✌️
Not really a fixed blade guy but i love what kizer is doing
Elgon is 💜

Elgon is the more appealing. Isn’t the same style jimping as on your Razorback? Thanks for sharing!
Yup! Pretty close! Great memory for details.... 😁🗡️👊
Got on the Notify Me list.
At the price, don't see why I would not get two Elgon's!

Feel likely restock or you should be able to locate it at Knife center or Blade HQ since they both carry Kizer

True! I'm not sure what drives it when the price is about the same... 🤔🗡️👍
