This entire discussion would not have happened if MHJ had not started caught in a dirty fight for power, influence and money. Therefore, a substitute topic appeared (at her dictation), the purpose of which is to divert attention from the audit results. During the conference, she did not comment on a single accusation... She portrayed herself as an innocent orphan... A lot can be said about her, but she’s definitely not an orphan....

I am sorry but this footage is extremely misleading that it only shows the most emotional part of the press conference. I am Korean and the translation here is terrible as well. Yes, she was emotional but very sincere and the whole point of it was that HYBE has constantly interrupted NEW JEANS’ activities even since their debut and has encroached the autonomy and the creativity of the labels of the company. Hybe is now trying to abandon NJ along with Min Hee jin by spreading the false accusation right before NJ’s come back, which is today. She also talked about the evil side of the industry, how these top people treat the young kids like money, how irrespective they are of the creators who make up all these K-pop industry. Her words were rough and hard hitting but everyone could feel here sincerity and HYBE’s irrespective manners are proven and explained. Koreans in general are leaning towards her side now.

If you need assurance you should always have documented agreements between parties.. she can’t just be shedding tears and play the victim just because Hybe did not keep the promise. That’s a mere act of immaturity. Terms and conditions between stakeholders should be clearly defined and agreed upon formally. She can take legal actions for breaking the agreements but not for breaking promises and being bullied..

They would get in trouble for withholding that information. After her "press conference" they responded by not arguing with her and, instead, by continuing to press her to turn in her laptop (which is company property, not hers) and to meet with them. If she did nothing wrong, why is turning in her laptop such an issue? And why can't she sit down at a meeting with them like an adult? Look i don't work at HYBE, I don't know MHJ personally so I won't sit here on my phone acting like I know the facts because I don't, there is alot of misinformation going around. But As a mother to those girls she should protect them plain and simple. The allegations Hybe brought against her did not mention new jeans and so her response should not mention them either. In fact if she's asked anything about them she should refuse to respond because 2 of those girls are minors, whatever conversations she has with them should be private, not disclosed in a press conference.
We must bear in mind that MHJ is not a qualified CEO, she does not write NJ music, write NJ lyrics, choreograph NJ dance - she comes up with concepts. That is it. She may own 18% of shares of ADOR (gifted as a show of faith by Bang PD) but she is a salaried employee, NOT the owner of ADOR or New Jeans. That is HYBE! Yep, she is using the girls in NewJeans as a shield for her wrongdoings. NewJeans is good, but honestly there is nothing new or original about them. It was great when they debuted with easy listening music, because people were tired of the current kpop music, not that it was new. Everything they have done has been done before. MHJ is CEO of Ador, a company mainly owned by Hybe. She's an employee given a golden spoon coz Hybe believed in her talent, capabilities and professionalism. Now she's crying and spitting out all these disputes(truth or lies) to the public and K-media. Not true. HYBE first released this story but they keep changing their story because what they are saying is clearly made up and there is no evidence to support their allegations. The shareholding? She can't work for another company unless she has 0, but she can't even sell 5% of the holdings without HYBE's consent. So she can't even get out of HYBE. That is why many Koreans are saying HYBE's allegations against MHJ is not true.
MHJ was promised that her group would be the first girl group to debut under HYBE. She even recruited Hyein under "HYBE's first girl group" title. But BSK changed his mind and decided to debut a LS first with Sakura and Chaehyun after IVE debut was very successful. MHJ was against that idea because she was promised "first girl group" title and even recruited NJ members under that title. Also, if LS debuts first under Source, then it would be a long time before another girl group can debut under Source. That is why MHJ asked BSK to create another company, to debut NJ. NJ and their parents already knew that BSK and HYBE almost threw away NJ, so they don't have good feelings about them.
Oh, also, BSK asked MHJ to NOT promote NJ before LS's debut because he wanted to fool public into believing that MHJ created LS. So he used MHJ's name for promoting LS.

I remember when news started pouring in regarding Le Sserafim because I was interested in Huh Yunjin who was coming from Produce and not once do I remember MHJ being mentioned as being part of the creative team for LS. I only then heard of MHJ when Ador and NJ was announced and was wondering who she was for them to be advertised as her girls.

That's interesting indeed. Unfortunately at the end of the day this is now a legal issue so public opinion doesn't really matter. If hybe does infact have evidence that they obtained legally then they'll have the upper hand in court. The public already empathize with new jeans girls so as long as they are advised properly by their lawyers on how to handle their contracts their fans will still continue to support them. Now I'm not saying this is what MHJ was doing, we only know what the media is feeding us so I'm curious to see how this will all be resolved and what will be proven. The only issue I have is that MHJ should avoid as much as possible referring to the new jeans members and anything they have said to her in private. Two of them are minors and the allegations that HYBE have reported is solely against MHJ herself and does not involve new jeans.

As someone who has watched all of her press conferences, I am fucking embresse by a lot of weird blame.
In the first 10 to 20 minutes, she explained all the suspicions presented by Hybe to the best of her ability... revealing the chat content and showing many details... As an individual dealing with the company, she presented the claim fully and professionally. At least until before her emotions exploded.
Rather, in some parts, Hybe should provided accurate evidence. (However, most of the 'physical evidence' Hybe claimed was close to their claims and suspicions. In the chat content she revealed, it was Bang Si-hyuk who mentioned other specific idols. He literaly said "Can u step on Aseper, right?" the other content was also quite disgusting and perplexing. For these reasons, BSH are being ridiculed.)
The scene where she curses and cries out of emotion comes after that.
Although she spoke incoherently, many Korean office workers were able to understand and sympathize with what she wanted to say. Because she harshly criticized her boss's shitty absurd attitude and her company's office politics.
Also, after the article, other facts about the contract between Min Hee-jin and Hybe were revealed. I worked for a very large corporation in the offices after college. Likely no company does this now, but I basically trained for nearly 2 months without any "real" responsibility. Never got higher than lower level, but I'd imagine their management training was just as rigorous. Then, I moved to a smaller, much smaller company.
Even at the small company, we had very expensive lawyers that would warn us annually on stuff. Don't write anything down controversial! I wasn't even dealing with controversial stuff, but I would walk over and discuss stuff that I would never want to be seen by someone else. That or I'd reply and say, "hey, give me a call when you get a chance".
Man, people need to assume that every text / email will always be leaked in any job.
