This one was released by Scribner Classics. The dust jacket is one of my all time favorites. I wish I could have THE fist edition. I heard it costs more than 100K pounds, so it won't happen lol...

Oi! Eu sempre compro no site e é bem tranquilo. O frete para o Brasil é justo, mas leva 2 meses para a entrega chegar na minha cidade. Fora isso, nunca tive problemas =)
eu pedi dois livros e eles adicionaram um livro de 19 libras sem custo, achei que era padrão. ou pouca gente tem comprado, já que estão fazendo promoção com versões limitadas e de 50%
Hum.... pode ter sido a promoção do mystery folio. Eu recebi um extra também e devo receber outro de um outro pedido. Deve ter sido isso. Esse mercado da Folio Society é bem restrito, porque os livros são muito caros e os títulos são geralmente da backlist. É uma editora da década de 50, se não me engano, e por volta de 2012/2013 tomou um baita prejuízo. Acho que estão tentando se reinventar. As limited editions são sensacionais, mas são caríssimas, especialmente pra quem não ganha $$ em libra hehehe.

E sim, na Amazon esses são muito caros, eu tava dividido entre continuar minha coleção Barnes Noble ou Vintage, já que já tenho alguma dessas , aí encontrei as versões da Everyman’s e resolvi começar, ontem mesmo comprei o Meditations do Marcus Aurelius, aí vim aqui procurar pra ver se alguém tinha esse pra eu dar uma olhada. Mas tu tem vários nossa, não vejo a hora de ler o meu.

O que faço hoje é esperar promoções. Por exemplo, os últimos que comprei foi numa promoção em que você comprava dois importados e levava o terceiro de graça. Mesmo assim é puxado. Tenho comprado mais livros nacionais ultimamente. Dependendo também compensa mais comprar na Amazon US, mesmo com o frete. A Amazon Br deu uma inflacionada nos importados, talvez devido ao nosso cenário de instabilidade econômica...

Everyman has Shakespeare in eight volumes. It’s probably the best Shakespeare collection still in production.
