    Well sir, this budget has a vision for safety and security of India.
    12.9% of the budget which means, second highest budget allocation to the defense sector. It not only strengthens our Army, Navy and Airforce but also focus on domestic manufacturing, which will create jobs and boost the economy.

      Better not to have much, defense doesn't require much. Don't be tempted to use for offense and end up like the West which promoted reason to find and create war 😉. This is not an area to seek profit.

      Generally an allocation of 13-15 percent of total expenditure is allocated to defence. Giving more than the above percentage means compromising in other areas. We have a vast population who are poor, plus election are fought based on many factors. So the govt. has to strike a balance between all the aspects. 12.9% is a bit lower than the previous allocation in terms of percentage

    1)The budget should increase bcoz major portion is going in giving salaries and pension
    2)All over the world the defence budget is increasing and we all known that any time china became more aggressive towards border and if any sanki Pakistan general take cammand then we can't say anything
    3)Drdo budget should increase and many of ours fighters aircrafts ,and many other equipment are off old versions so need to replace them
    4) as we all known we fought many wars so security of country is very necessary

  • @Arguseyed_
    @Arguseyed_ 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    The defence budget is quite low compared to China despite the lesser increase to the overall budget by just 4-5 percent, make in Bharat initiative is not fruitful unless we are actually spending on procuring domestic defence equipment, research and development. All the R&D projects are extremely slow.
    India needs UAVs like the Akinci drones or even the Bayraktar 2, yes they are Turkish Designs but turkey is getting far ahead in UAV and defense export game despite their budget being comparable to Pakistan. At the least Super Sukhois should take off alongside Tejas mk1A and Arjun mk2 with Zorawar at forefront of our borders, our Air defences are also not very strong, we don't have hypersonic interceptors and detecting radars. EW warfare is also lagging basically behind in every side.

    Modi wants to make India a superpower by 2047, it’s really a laughing stock. Still a long way to go even with a huge population. I predict in next 30 years India will still an impoverished country and will find it difficult to achieve developed status least to be a superpower. Cut down on defence budget and help the ordinary Indians who are struggling to make ends meet. Resolve your huge internal domestic problems first - rampant corruption, racial religious violent, primitive caste system, infrastructure deficiency, income disparity, abject poverty, etc.

    Defense is useless?,Why should honest tax payers pay for their Pensions, We need more drones , weapons and Fighters and New Tanks, Not to entertain old people and grant them free pension. Those who die during military Service should be paid one time grant of 2crores which is more than enough, We should not pay any Pesnion to senior officer as well as soldier and retire them after 30 years of service with all the benefits like PF and other and minimum salary should be 40k for initial soldiers. It doesn't makes sense to pay them after their service. PVT employees are not fools who are working tirelessly and making themselves slave to corporate to get 1 lakh salary and pay tax of roughly 2 lakh per year, just that these old people can sit in their homes and entertain themselves. Those who died during military service should be paid and their children's to be provided KV education that too free of cost, because they lost something

Every job has its risk, be practical nobody forces you to join army, you very well know what job demands from you yet you still join it.
      If you don't want to join it's your choice, this is india lots of people are there and if a person risked his life and saved this country he should get something, but who hasn't died should only be given the salary until they are in service and we should use funds to revive our technology because war scenarios have changed now

      The presence of military creates a deterrence for other hostile countries and provides a sense of security to the countrymen . They have to undergo a tough training, mandate is to protect the country in tough and hostile condition , which is not easy. They dont t know that any bullet could hit them at any time. It also takes courage to be deployed at 10,000 - 15,000 ft in LAC. Where the weather is very hostile. The troops and officer after serving get at the time of retirement various diseases like high bp , sugar...etc.
