Funnily ... Both Lewis and Max said it wasn't an intense battle between them...each giving one another oodles of room? funny how things look differently to the spectator...and more importantly...the commentators...compared with what the actual drivers are thinking about it.
Lewis on the "On the Grid" show said that anytime he is around Max is more aware of him. Just shows that Lewis has learned to give space to an aggressive driver. Which is good on his part, instead of spinning every collision like Vettel.

That win was so much emotional. #BestRaceOfTheSeason Kimi's win - Surprise Vettel's Mistake and Bottas as Wingman - No Surprise Btw the telecasting crew completely forget to show the mid field teams 😂😂😂.
Who cares about us, he deserved it the most. For all 2nd driver work they've finally let him breathe. Sadly it's his last year in a competitive car, sad because he's more consistent and skilled than Seb, although a bit slower.
dwon da Yes that was an amazing drive and battle. He is my favorite driver. But wow the bottom pack of drivers are absolute trash. It seems like they cannot hold a position let alone stop from driving into each other haha
I think it was more to do with Kimi’s age more than anything. I believe in their opinion (I disagree) he’s at the end whereas Vettel still has a few more years in him yet.
Vitor Ferreira I agree Kimi was off the pace in his second stint at Ferrari, but I’m not sure that was entirely his fault. The Ferrari has been dodgy for a long while. I don’t think it’s possible for you to drop that much, compared to how he was in the Lotus previously. From what I can see Vettel got favoured as he was seen as the better driver (as he had more championships). Which only added insult to injury.
It is kind of weird when Ferrari strategists can’t figure out a good strategy through out the season but somehow correctly calculated that Ham needs to pit twice. Anyways Kimi wins and that’s enough.
roso tifosi i agree! if kimi didn't take the hole shot, it woulda been quite different. clean air keeps the car running longer and better. strategists just benefited from great kimi's perf.
I remember everyone saying after this race that Lewis scared of max, and then in Silverstone everyone saying lewis crazy driving put max in hospital, it turns out they were wrong on at least one of these 🤣
Well, RedBull clearly was 100% focused on Max since Austria 2018. Countless failures of Ricciardos Car in 2018 and still managed to win in China and Monaco when he had no issues.

Its not because its fake. Remember Toto´s reaction when Bottas won? Its genuine on both occasions, but when the 2nd driver gets to win a race, might be more special to team bosses.
@@JoaoPaulo-wi4ie but Maurizio reason maybe actually genuine. He is a good friend to Kimi personally. One of the best races in hybrid era. No need for safety car or bad weather, just pure strategy and great on-track battle. Kimi drove perfectly, and finally Ferrari made a very great strategy here.
Everyone's talking about all the great things happened in this race but I'm just feeling for Ricciardo rn. What an unlucky guy he's been last couple of months. :(
Not just unlucky. Most of this shit has been manufactured by Red Bull. I have zero respect for Red Bull after this season. They are the scummiest team ever.
digithead100 speaking of Alonso what happened? At the beginning of the season he was picking up points every race! I have a theory that McLaren built an actual competitive car, they saw Fernando and vandoorne winning. Then they got over confident and tried to kick back and relax and ended up falling completely behind
I hope that there will be more in the future! What make it interesting is that they are drivers with totaly different drive-styles! Today it was a clean and entertaining fight!
@@loylymies9532 It's still a teamorder. They asked Sebastian to move out of the way. @121bham Much better? Not really. Better? Sure, but this one had the best duels and intense moments.
China, Baku, Hockenheim, Silverstone, Austin , we had some really good races this season
@@ravitejachandu7806 Azerbaijan was the best
Baku was for me ..i was At this one tho very special
Give Kimi a priority and a good strategy, And he'll give you a race to remember.
As a Ferrari fan, I finally have something to smile about this season. That win was so much emotional. #BestRaceOfTheSeason
Kimi's win - Surprise
Vettel's Mistake and Bottas as Wingman - No Surprise
Btw the telecasting crew completely forget to show the mid field teams 😂😂😂.
Probably the closest top three fight this year no wonder the midfield got sidelined
"As a Ferrari fan, I finally have something to smile about this season"
You mean aside from the 5 GP wins Ferrari had previous to this?
hahaha finally the iceman wins, his races are amazing as the ferrari is much slower than mercs sadly, at last some excitement for us ferrari fans
I think he means that, after all these races where Ferrari, for a reason or another, lost, finally we got a win from Raikkonen
mymentor isnt wdc and constructor going to mercs this year? Should I be happy about the situation as ferrari fan ?
To all Kimi fans, we deserve this the most. For all the heartbreaks over the years. This is our moment.
Yes, it's been far too long!
Who cares about us, he deserved it the most. For all 2nd driver work they've finally let him breathe. Sadly it's his last year in a competitive car, sad because he's more consistent and skilled than Seb, although a bit slower.
All this time I've been saying he still had it. Ferrari will be sorry they let him go.
So sad to see him leave... F1 will never be the same. GRANDE KIMI!!!
„Kimi what are your thoughts on this win After 5 years without a victory?“ „Mwoah, Better than Second“ Iceman 🕶
glad i watched that 😂
5 man
it's 5 years tho
Kimi doesn't do long answers XD

same race like in italy but this time kimi won!!!

In Italy the only problem was bottas, if verstappen managed to stay in front of him, Kimi could possibly win Monza too
No wingman for hamilton lol

Honestly Kimi vs Hamilton is better than Vettel vs Hamilton.
Of course you will be happy.Lewis has nearly fucking won it
Max Verstappen: 18th to 2nd. Astonishing drive!
It makes me ask myself why does he even try to qualify high
lol ikr.
dwon da Yes that was an amazing drive and battle. He is my favorite driver. But wow the bottom pack of drivers are absolute trash. It seems like they cannot hold a position let alone stop from driving into each other haha
He makes everyone else look like shit, LOL!!
Yup Max is a very exciting driver
I still believe Kimi had a better shot at catching Hamilton than Vettel that season... Ferrari disagreed, sadly.
Di Sc agree
Arrivabene agrees
I think it was more to do with Kimi’s age more than anything. I believe in their opinion (I disagree) he’s at the end whereas Vettel still has a few more years in him yet.
You're dellusional if you think that... Kimi was and has been off the pace for years now.
Which only added insult to injury.
anyone else hear the guy making car sounds over the mic during the race
Near the alonso interview
Neowwwwww
Yea that was hilarious lmao
Nyoom
best part of the gp
It is kind of weird when Ferrari strategists can’t figure out a good strategy through out the season but somehow correctly calculated that Ham needs to pit twice.
Anyways Kimi wins and that’s enough.
I hope they take note of this gp. This time around they did a great strategy game, on both Kimi and Vettel
@@piereligio_ds yeah even ham will eventually win the championship i hope the ferraris will win the remaining races this season
Nice Ferrari
It was more of a lucky and risky strategy
roso tifosi i agree! if kimi didn't take the hole shot, it woulda been quite different. clean air keeps the car running longer and better. strategists just benefited from great kimi's perf.
Kimi: I dont always win a race, but when I do, a record is always broken
That battle between Max and Lewis was a sign of things to come, and of course that race was a reminder of why Kimi is so special
Grazie Kimi
Max ended up P2 ahead of Lewis after starting 18th
I remember everyone saying after this race that Lewis scared of max, and then in Silverstone everyone saying lewis crazy driving put max in hospital, it turns out they were wrong on at least one of these 🤣
In a substantially worse car as well
Well, RedBull clearly was 100% focused on Max since Austria 2018. Countless failures of Ricciardos Car in 2018 and still managed to win in China and Monaco when he had no issues.

Professional Racer yeah because it’s genuine not fake
@@johngibbons7724 you know why I respect arrivabene. Once he was asked during an interview who is the person from past or present that you would like to meet. Maurizio said his father. That's when I realized he is a real good person.
He is the reason why Kimi is still at Ferrari after his awful 2014 season and under performing 2015 season. He is the only Ferrari crew attending Kim's wedding. Had Marchionne didn't already promise ferrari seat to LeClerc, He will already Re-signed kimi by July. Unlike Toto who have total control on the whole Mercedes Racing team (not only in F1). True quote. Never change, Kimi
One of the best races in hybrid era. No need for safety car or bad weather, just pure strategy and great on-track battle. Kimi drove perfectly, and finally Ferrari made a very great strategy here.
For once Ferrari strategy is absolutely spot on. But Kimi won instead.
The Ferrari cars look faster too. Check the Ham vs Vet quali side by side.
Hugo Stiglitz what?
Hugo Stiglitz i noticed that too, how weird that all his issues came after he announced he was leaving.
Hugo Stiglitz agreed
It really feels like their just so salty with Daniel
digithead100 speaking of Alonso what happened? At the beginning of the season he was picking up points every race! I have a theory that McLaren built an actual competitive car, they saw Fernando and vandoorne winning. Then they got over confident and tried to kick back and relax and ended up falling completely behind
So glad for a Kimi win. I’ve never seen the comments so positive.
Epic win for Kimi. No nonsense tricks....just great driving. Still can't believe the season starting will have no Iceman.

Teamorders....
@@Firemarioflower Teamorders? Raikkonen passed Hamilton in the start meanwhile Vettel wanted to make some donut practises by hitting Ricciardo.
@@loylymies9532 It's still a teamorder. They asked Sebastian to move out of the way. Ferrari NEVER gave Raikönen teamorders to let Vettel by except for Germany because it was Sebastian's home GP, never even when he was slouching behind like 6th in Canada whilst his teammate won in a dominant way. Or that pathetic job he did in China last year losing to 2 fighting Bulls whilst Vettel overtook all three of them. They let him get second in Austria, allowed him to fight for pole in Italy, they give Raikkonen preferable treatment, not Vettel. They gave ANOTHER teamorder in Brazil when FIA sabotaged Vettel's car with the sensor (aftter trying to sabotage him in quallie)
It's undeniable that Kimi is crap and Vettel an awesome driver.
