    In the last step of updating nodelist, the Oracle HOME mentioned for command executed through Grid user is the ORACLE software home or GRID software home?

    • @OracleDBAOnlineTraining
      @OracleDBAOnlineTraining  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You need to update both grid and oracle home. Execute same commands from both homes

      @@OracleDBAOnlineTraining Yes I got that just want to know whether it is oracle home path location in the first command or it refers to grid home path

    During Logfile group addition, do we need to specify Group# after the last number on existing node i.e. no node 2 or we need to specify same group# with different thread number?

    • @OracleDBAOnlineTraining
      @OracleDBAOnlineTraining  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So if you are adding new node i.e. thread in existing rac environment u need to add redo log group for new node/thread no.

    in 38:42 what are the commands we need to fire for adding init parameters for instance 3, since you ran into some errors over there. Also from which node do we need to fire the queries

    • @OracleDBAOnlineTraining
      @OracleDBAOnlineTraining  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So basically you need to add the highlighted parameters in video from any active nodes. I did got error but it is not related to anything wrongly done. So i previously used same system to make this video. Because mentioned group add was getting failed but I take next available group no and it resolved problem. So you need to add node 3 i.e. thread 3 redo log group from any active nodes.
