I know, right?! Like, from the first second I heard his helium-sucking Mickey Mouse voice with that fake "European" accent I was thinking, "WTH, this dude is a freaking joke!" Also, my dad once told me something that's never, ever proved wrong: "if someone tells you they're in the CIA/FBI/The Mossad/MI6/Etc., they're lying, period. Nobody who actually does genuine top-secret government work will EVER actually tell you that's what they do...but plenty of fakers and con artists will be happy to spin tales about their James Bond life." Plus, I even have a cousin who did some sort of government intelligence work, and even he couldn't talk to his own family about his job! So there's no way I'm ever going to believe that some high-ranking intelligence worker would or could tell random strangers about the intimate details of their job. I mean, I'm sure that I have my own gullibility issues, but seriously?? I don't care HOW compelling and brilliant someone sounds or seems; if I were going to invest my life savings (Or heck, even a big chunk of my money, at all) in *anything*, I'd damn sure do a LOT of checking into the product and the person behind it!! And this guy wasn't even a half-decent imposter/con man, from what I can tell. He comes off sounding like my kids, back when they were in preschool and they'd tell me about all the adventures they'd had playing in the backyard with mermaids and unicorns. It's so wild to think that moral is this much linked to our phisycal brain and that if a normal person gets this specific part damaged they just turn into such a monster!

Girly was truly a beautiful person, so very polite and sweet. you see, she was a bank teller at a bank that I used to go to. Every time that I would go in to do my banking, Girly would be the very first to greet me, always treated me like family. and when I was 8 months pregnant, she always offered a cup of water and asked how baby was doing and rub my belly flashing the most radiant smile that you just could not forget. when I first heard about Girlys' disappearance, I was heartbroken. Thank you for sharing her story, she deserves to be heard. as for the little boy, I can only pray that he is living happy and healthy as possible, given the crap he went through with that evil man. and I still hold out hope that they find Girly, so that her family can have closure. again thank you, you did an absolute awesome job making some sense of the chaos that was her murder trial.

I'm really confused about Dimitri. If he never really adopted Dimitri then how did Girly get ordered to pay child support. You have to present yourself as an adoptive parent, get interviewed and your home inspected before a legal adoption can take place. So how come a court ordered her to pay support without questioning this? Also, did they ever do any DNA tests to see if the kid was really his kid? And what about the birth mother? I doubt very much that it was a surrogacy. Was it one of his mistresses? If so, who is she and is she even alive? Just too many questions regarding that kid.
Somewhere she stated that when he wanted to give him up for adoption he presented a birth certificate showing Girly as the bio mom. He probably gave that and nobody questioned it.

I am from Lethbridge Alberta Canada, and this case hits very close to home for me. Unfortunately search efforts to find Marshall have almost stopped leaving his family and loved ones with absolutely no answers. His car was found abandoned in another province, and the police almost appear as if to not even be looking anymore. There are signs and posters all over my city, hoping one day that Marshall will be found. If you could do this case and raise awareness maybe the case could be reopened and further investigated. He had a severe head injury in high school and his family said it completely changed his personality. This is quite common with head injuries and leads to complete change in personality making nice people very angry, physically aggressive and lacking impulse control. There’s a chance he would have been a normal guy and compassionate (like his family said he used to be) if he hadn’t been injured.

I know this is an older video but hopefully you’ll see my comment! A friend of mine went missing a while ago, and his name is Marshall Iwaasa. I am from Lethbridge Alberta Canada, and this case hits very close to home for me. Unfortunately search efforts to find Marshall have almost stopped leaving his family and loved ones with absolutely no answers. His car was found abandoned in another province, and the police almost appear as if to not even be looking anymore. There are signs and posters all over my city, hoping one day that Marshall will be found. If you could do this case and raise awareness maybe the case could be reopened and further investigated. He had a severe head injury in high school and his family said it completely changed his personality.
This is quite common with head injuries and leads to complete change in personality making nice people very angry, physically aggressive and lacking impulse control.
There’s a chance he would have been a normal guy and compassionate (like his family said he used to be) if he hadn’t been injured.
