  • Join me on an extraordinary tour of the Yutong Bus Factory in Zhengzhou, China - the largest bus production plant on the globe. In this video, I explore the wonders of contemporary auto manufacturing and the developments in technology that are influencing public transportation in the future.
About Yutong: Established in 1963, Yutong has grown from a regional bus manufacturer to a leader in the industry on a worldwide scale. They manufacture over 100 bus models, from city buses to luxury coaches, and sell their products in more than 30 countries. They are also leaders in the creation of new energy vehicles. Learn about the origins and worldwide influence of Yutong, a startup that is revolutionizing public transportation.
The Production Process: Work on the assembly lines where more than 440 buses are put together every day. See how carefully every component is put together, from the chassis to the finishing touches, demonstrating Yutong's dedication to effectiveness and quality. See firsthand how their buses, including the newest electric and driverless ones, are constructed.
Innovation and Sustainability: Yutong is spearheading the green bus manufacturing revolution. Examine their developments in fully electric and hybrid buses, as well as how they're lowering pollution in cities. They are leading the industry in standards set by their dedication to sustainable practices.
Cooperation and Community: Yutong's success is rooted in its people. This film demonstrates the talent, commitment, and teamwork of the Yutong employees. Discover the critical role that each person plays in providing dependable, high-quality public transit solutions.
    Investigating and Advancing:
Get a unique glimpse at Yutong's R&D department. Yutong is always coming up with new ideas, from testing novel materials to creating technologies for autonomous driving. Their testing facilities attest to their never-ending quest for excellence, guaranteeing that each bus satisfies the strictest performance and safety requirements.
Worldwide Impact: Yutong is a provider of global mobility solutions, not merely a bus manufacturer. This tour provides insights into how Yutong buses are reshaping public transit globally to be more accessible, economical, and sustainable.

Man this was a surprisingly nice look. Here in Denmark where I'm from we're seeing Yutongs appear everywhere. The first large scale order for electric buses in the country was for Yutong and after that, they began appearing EVERYWHERE! Over half of all electric buses here in the country are made by Yutong, and I gotta say they aren't bad buses at all, quite decent compared to most other ones I've ridden across cities. And apparently also being really affordable, reliable, and intuitive from what drivers around the country have said!

    • @ElMorte

Funny, although as a car truck and bus fanatic of Denmark, I’ve been wondering what this bus brand starting with Yu… was all about …saw the last one just a few hours ago while I was biking into Copenhagen
Until now my main focus has been on brands like Scania Volvo Mercedes Daf and Iveco - there has been a lot of busses lately where I couldn’t decipher which brand they were
All in the same color - all more or less looking alike
For sure I now know the brand Yutong and I will never forget
Thank you for documenting this - it is impressive

You got it right, building a bus isn't just putting wheels on a chassis, and what keeps Yutong a world brand is not just cost-efficiency. They focus on developing next generation public transportation solution, as you can see the 5G and auto-driving technology.

I've learned a lot from this video too. Never have I thought that building a bus involved so much teamwork. I always thought it was just a couple of guys fitting something and then it moves on to the next and so on so forth.
Now though, through your video I realize that it's more than just a monotonous work of fitting and assembling. It's a whole community of people diligently doing a synchronised dance each knowing exactly their job and efficiently executing them at every part to finish a product every few hours.
And I came to realize that if a country could be like that then that country is going to succeed way more than any which are in disarray.
Unfortunately the country I'm living in now is exactly that way. In disarray!

This is only ONE Industry in China. This is why Western Business go to China to have their product manufactured there. Better Management/Production Plant/Planning/Build/Delivery - with a Management that has studied Western Business Operations and does it better. This is why Walmart (USA), Warehouse(NZ), Bunnings (Australia/NZ), shop there; this is also why all your DIY Home Tools are manufactured there, so are the majority of shipping containers. - I could go on. It is amazing how the West have missed the "boat", allowing the Chinese to "move into the open space of industry. The other factor, is that China has NO Unions, that have dominated/decimated Western Business for decades. It is a Nation of People that evolved from the Han & Ming Dynasties, to now.

However, when China's head arrived in Japan, Japan banned the Chinese team from entering the cab to visit (for fear of stealing their technology). After China's high-speed railway was on the road, reporters were welcome to shoot. They are not afraid of technology leakage at all.
Another example is that the chief design engineer of Boeing's first commercial aircraft is Chinese. However, when he completed the flight test and waited for the relevant government review, he was rejected. Don't let him participate, say it will steal American technology

'Holding its own ground' - courtesy of reverse engineering everyone else's stuff. I still don't understand why we sent all our manufacturing to such an uncaring, polluting country. Oh yes, I remember, it was so we could claim we were 'reducing our carbon footprint', as nobody had to account for any of the pollution caused by imported products - and still don't. It was politically expedient & saved everyone from having to actually do something. Same now, with all the big corporations using 'carbon offsets', a simple trick of accounting to pretend to be 'carbon neutral' or 'nett zero' - just pay some company for some pretend 'green initiatives' to offset the damage you've done & get money from the government/taxpayer. China won't even start to reduce any emissions until at least 2060 - and that'll be put back, you can count on it. Meanwhile, China has created more pollution in 8 years than the UK has over the last 220 years...

    • @gunsumwong3948
      @gunsumwong3948 ปีที่แล้ว +2

@@johnmurphy9550 China-hater ignoring the following facts
      (1) China in 2021 generated 8,375 TWh when US generated 4,280 TWh. Thus China generated twice amount of electrical power of the US. However since US has 4 times the population of China so every American consumes twice amount of electrical power and causes twice amount of world pollution than a Chinese.
      (2) UK annually generates about 310 TWh as any extra will be imported from France. China in 2021 by nuclear generation alone was 407 TWh (1.3 times UK), Hydro generation was 1,340 TWh (4.3 times UK), Wind generation 655 TWh (2.1 times UK) and solar generation 327 TWh (1.05 times UK national output). Thus China's renewable energy alone can power 8.8 times UK annually!
      (3) Your UK 220 years total pollution is same as China's last 8 years is just a selective way of looking at the numbers as this suggest China emits 220/8 = 27.5 times more pollutants than UK. UK in 2021 generated 306.8 TWh so comparing with China in 2021 China does generate 8,735/306.8 = 28.47 times more electrical power annually and could be accused giving out equal amount of pollutants.

What's so amazing about modern China is its complexity and scale. Here are these massive R&D and manufacturing facilities, working with leading edge technology, but a minute ago I was watching a vlog about some minority Yi tribe on their market day. The tribes people bring their live stocks and vegetables to sell, and it is still rather primitive way of life. Yet there are Chinese vehicles at the market too. Today I found an interview on TH-cam with an Australian scholar David Kelly in China (by CIS, Australia). He objects to what western people called "Chinese Culture" because he said there are many Chinese Cultures. Very true. He shared many learned observations from his 40+ years of experience in China. nope the worlds biggest bus manufactuers are
      #1 Mercedes Benz
      #2 Scania
      #3 Volvo
      #4 MAN
      #5 DAF
      #6 Renault
      #7 Iveco
      #8 Solaris
      #9 Neoplan
      #10 Bova
      #11 Vanhool
      #12 Setra
Those are the biggest bus manufactuers in the world the most popular the most reliable the best selling and you will meet many of those in every corner of europe BYD has nothing to do with them except copy them 😂😂😂 you will barely see BYD outside china in undeveloped countries with no regulations or in neibhboring asian countries or ally countries they can't Euro NCAP crash test standards & euro emission standarts so they have been disqualified from europe and in USA IIHS will not approve them due to their poor crash test rating they IIHS overlap test is pretty brutal so a chinese poorly made bus can't make it throught... also they are unreliable
