When I moved from New Orleans to Los Angeles, I almost starved to death. So did my over sized black and white cat. We lived mostly on canned tuna and pond raised cat fish. Terrible stuff, but we managed. Moving back soon. I'm making myself drool.
For Louisiana style boiled shrimp, crab or crawfish. Try zaterain's shrimp and crab boil in the packets. BEWARE. Lock the doors and open the windows first. You can add onions, lemons, potatoes, weinies, corn on the cob or probably a lot of other things. Louisiana style court bullion is tomato based, is pronounced "Cu-bee-onn", and is excellent with black drum (aka triple tail) or redfish. Oh, before I forget, wild caught seafood is not just better, it is WAY better. The branded kinds often aren't gulf shrimp, and are miss-labeled. I wish thy would get caught.
I’m here from my culinary class in high school this was big help thx ☺️
