    Key of A and each lick is "playing the changes" or highlighting the chord that the band is playing.

    Bakersfield style Double stops ala Pete Anderson, Dwight Yoakam, Buck Owens or Merle Haggard.
    Jerry Reed Style "Claw" lick
    Unison Bend walk up
    Chicken Pickin walk down on 6ths from the V (5) chord

    Dig that style. I just can't bring myself to growing my pick hand finger nails. Gotta stick with the flat pick.

      You need far less fingernail than most think, not like classical. In fact you get more "cluck" with shorter nails or none at all since that tone has more to do with the strings being pulled and released to slap off the fretboard, mine don't extend even past my fingertips.

    Mate thats not rockabilly it country ,Mac Curtis , ray Campi , Johnny powers , that's rockabilly , but you lot never go there ,

      I listen to a lot of country and rockabilly and the main difference between the 2 genres is country uses major scales, rockabilly uses minor and blues scales, country uses a straight rhythm, rockabilly uses a swing rhythm, country uses basic major and minor chords, rockabilly uses a lot of 7th and suspended chords and power chords
