Esztergom has a fabulous cathedral on a hill over looking the Danube. It has a fantastic display of religious vestments and vessels. Many encrusted with jewels and gold thread. It also has catacombs under it - as a teenager I went on a guided tour through them. When the guide realised my family was British he used his very limited English to try and tell us the history. He was quite relieved when he found out my father spoke better Hungarian than his English. But we appreciated him trying to involve us in the tour. The city was, may still be, a port for the barges that ply their trade on the Danube and for the Hungarian military river patrols. The bridge you went over was destroyed in WWII and rebuilt in the early 1970s.

Is that the 70% deet? I recently was emptying one of my trunks. The bread with the sausage in it is actually a Danish invention. In Denmark, however, it is a little strangely called a Fransk Hotdog // French Hotdog.
(4:23) I believe that this is the same place My Grandmother is from. Question, did they call that place Check Republic? years ago. Grand ma spoke 5 languages.
A note of caution though, check the integrity of the bread at the bottom. They can leak and it’s not pleasant when you get to the end and realise you’ve been dripping ketchup, mustard and fat all over you for 5 minutes 😂
I’m glad the washing didn’t melt onto the exhaust. I understand your motives but I think the rest day routine is a good idea. It would stop you getting so tired. I’ve done similar but using hotels etc and that’s hard enough, so having to pack and unpack your camping stuff must be very tiresome. You have my upmost respect.

(4:23) I believe that this is the same place My Grandmother is from. Question, did they call that place Check Republic? years ago. Grand ma spoke 5 languages.
It used to be check Slovakia now it’s independent
This is right as far as we know
We believe so
Great video guys
THanks
One thing worse than finding a worm or grub in fruit is finding half a worm or grub guess how i know ! Great Trip guys
I will never forget biting into a apple to make this discovery!
Those hotdogs just make sense that way!! We should be able to buy hot dog rolls like that in the uk
Rich Agrees!!
A note of caution though, check the integrity of the bread at the bottom. They can leak and it’s not pleasant when you get to the end and realise you’ve been dripping ketchup, mustard and fat all over you for 5 minutes 😂
@@jasonk7072 lol this is words of experience 🤣
No mosquitos? Lucky for you guys.
Winner Winner, Hot dog Dinner!
Another great video👍
Thank you bud, Great to have you with us
I’m glad the washing didn’t melt onto the exhaust. I understand your motives but I think the rest day routine is a good idea. It would stop you getting so tired. I’ve done similar but using hotels etc and that’s hard enough, so having to pack and unpack your camping stuff must be very tiresome. You have my upmost respect.
Thanks Andrew, We have a limited time left allowed in Europe Due to Brexit so we really dont want to waste days sat still, but we do have a plan in place for a break soon as its been over a month in the tent now
take a break from your travels it is nackering just watching 😂
Plenty of time for that when Rich's Brexit Limit is up and has to return home to the UK... We did say we are Going All in....
Brilliant video again….just a little note for Rich…when talking to camera try to look in the lens rather than the screen 👍
Cheers bud, noted 👍
I like what you have shown me of Slovakia. I think that is now on mt bucket list. I have had 2 holidays in Zakopane (Poland). Fabulous. Looking forward to seeing your take on it. I also like Crakow. And Auschwitz is very educational and thought provoking. Hope you had a good time there.
You’ll enjoy the upcoming episodes then 😉
so positive today - wow! ;-)
Lol - Come on.... Hot Dogs That hold their own sauce in... What more do you want!
only one thing worse than finding a grub in your fresh fruit 🤔
is finding 1/2 a grub 🤮😂
Yep!
3:38 hey guys do you remember an Irishman winning the tour devfrance ,and they found him three weeks afterwards ,,,he was on a lap of honour 😂😂 take care guys 👋🤠👍
Well.... You gotta be sure to be sure....
Love the videos a will bee rideing in no time a just passed my mod 1 the day
Congratulations bud
What those sausages called in uk shop . need to try one now .lol. an how do they make the hole ?.
Just go to any polish shop and they will likley have them by the till cooking away! No idea how they make the bread but doesnt it just make sense now you see it?
@@ontheroadadventureAsk Tesco maybe, I just checked their Polish food section, they stock Polish hot dog sausages but no rolls as they would need to be fresh baked. There was some lush looking herrings though Rich!
The Polish sausage isn’t bad from Tesco
Who hollows out the bread for the hotdogs? 😂 Great video by the way.
No idea but it’s an important job for the whole country! 👍
Great episode again….. with a lot of dutchies on the campsite 😂
Yes, Funny how they all seemed to be in one place
Loving the channel! Do you have a link to the campsite that comes in about 20 minutes in? Thanks.
Chris.
The name of the place is “Camping Guesthouse Sedliacky Dvor / Het Boerenhof” not sure you be able to open in via this link

Glad you loving the channel, we love to have you here 😊
Just be fluid don't push it, if you need to chill, then chill
We have a plan ahead for some rest...
At 21.00 , he wil eat you no problem . Hehe , better watch out there.
Lol Soft doggo means business!
I bet the reason you had a lot of mosquitos was the river nearby
yes, it seems campsites are popular by lakes and rivers but the result is always lots of mozzies
A+++.
Rich: "Ewa ...........there's a very strong ambiance of shit in the air". LMAO
🤣🤣🤣
How do they get the hole in the rolls for the sausage ? 🤔 looked delicious 😋
I assume they are made like that at a factory somewhere
You guys are making Europe look small
These two know how to get it done 👍
We are running out of Europe fast.... What then?
We do our best... Thanks
Ewa your English is so brilliant. I love listening to you. So do they cut the bread at all or is there a hole through the middle.
Thank you ☺️ The bread is hollow in the middle so nothing can fall out
No dinner? Ooh. How can you manage on an empty tum?
Do they not sell eggs with all those chickens?
You could always start and market a new diet regime. The sausage diet I'd go for it.
Ride safe 👍
I didnt fancy the Ropey Home made Sausage on offer.... Not falling for that one again lol
Hello Ewa and Rich, again a great episode. Could you share the name of that rural campsite? Take care. Regards from tropical Holland, 34 degrees over here🥵. Ad
Hi ad, it’s camping sedliacky Brezno Slovakia. If we were to tour Holland what would you recommend we see? Are there any famous biker locations? Cafes? Must ride roads?
What drone do you guys use?
DJI M3P 👍
@@ontheroadadventure do you recommend it? Any cons?
How much was that campsite? I found everything was pretty cheap when I went to Slovakia.
About 25 i believe
Agree... Only Coca Cola will do Rich..
Yep there are some things in life you cannot go cheap on
They drive mad over there nearly took you out ride safe
It happens several times a day!
Those buildings don’t look very inviting. Lovely looking scenery though
How come every road you visit they have better roads than the UK
Yeah... Thats kinda shameful for the UK! I dont know why the pot hole situation is so bad/dangerous for motorcyclists, it never used to be that way
Coz it's not the UK lol
You cant live on HOT Dogs lad.....Where's the salad?? , great tour though, so thumbs up
Haha no room for salad, although these would be even better with onion inside too
👌👌👌👏👏👏
Cheers! 🍻
Where are you from Ewa, not sure of your accent
Ewa is Polish 👍
@@ontheroadadventure thanks Rich i thought so
Easter Europe is not buying into the distracting woke culture. They still know logic and common sense and can distinguish between right and wrong.
Giving them time to maintain the roads in return!
Love the videos, you both have a great sense of humour! Me and my wife do euro tours but she rides pillion. You have given her the inspiration to get her own license and her own bike. Can’t wait to tour on separate bikes. Keep the videos coming we love them!
That’s amazing guys! Let us know how you get on

Guys! That is just soo amazing! You will both have so much fun and create amazing memories that last a lifetime time, we wish her all the best with her test!
Thanks! We’ve got our next trip booked in a couple of weeks to see all the d day beaches. Looking forward to that one.
@@PaulBush-v3h Well as you would have seen in our first videos of this tour, we loved touring Normandy, fascinating place and we wish we had allowed more time there
Yeah that was a great video 👍🏻
