Tony Barfridge because you know I am correct.... and Dianna Krall would not be upset about the comparison. Her style is not original.... and anybody listening knows it. Shirley Horn is one of the greatest Jazz Singers and pianists of all time in my humble opinion.... Diana picked an excellent artist to model her style after.... those of us who loved Shirley Horn are not offended by it... yet we still enjoy Diana Krall....why get your panties in a wad... ? Give credit where credit is due.... it’s ok.... take a chill pill and kick back and relax.

One thing that DK has in common with SH is that they're willing to embrace downbeat numbers ... but SH is the master of the extreme downbeat genre as she never ever loses the melodic thread ...
