Emongg I respect your opinions and I'm going to have to say I think you are wrong on the cleanses on an aspect. I'm only a Bronze, but I was in this exact situation and not only that the other support left. We did end up winning on the.... I think the German name map with the castle at the end of the push and the defenders having a spawn on the left turn into the castle? Anyway I was Kiriko here and our Moira left. They might have disconnected and I saw them standing so life must have just gotten in the way. Instead of giving up, we dug in and turned into Bronze demons. We had second push and not only did we push it to the end but we won the entire match. We got first push on the second time around and pushed it... it was that right turn at the beginning. We then held them back enough and won. I was making callouts as I could and told them to play smart and not make any risky plays and to keep line of sight in mind. They did a beautiful job on that. The funny thing is their tank complained on the loss about one of my dps being junkrat. They were ORISA against a 4v5!!!! At the end we had Doom, Bastian, Junkrat and Kiriko as our comp. All that to say the mechanics of Kiriko healing change a good bit in moments like this. It's no longer about saving Suzu for the right play. It becomes "I need to do as much healing as I possibly can and stay alive." I can't stress how that changes things. If they get Anti'ed? Sorry I just used it to get you all back to full because I had to. I had to Swift Step in on group heals. All of my Suzu's at that point were healing bursts. The funny thing is that all they had to do was swap Ana.... Though yeah, sometimes when you have to carry like this the logic of Kiriko gets changed drastically. It's no longer about right plays so much as it is doing as much healing as possible and applying some ult logic to it to keep it rolling to use it again at another point. If my tank and dps players are reading this, you are all amazing. You are by far the best people I have had the privilege to play with so far and that match was an absolute blast. I hope you are all doing well. No hard feelings to you Moira. You just missed out.
The only time he criticized the cleanse is when the Kiri was using it in times where she could have kept them up without using it, and the ones where she was TPing to an unsafe spot to use it. He's right about both of those instances. The first case is obvious, if you can keep them up without it, save your powerful cooldown. The second is because, sure, you heal your teammate, but if you're dead second later, the team goes without healing until you're back from spawn and it was a useless endeavour. The rest of suzus he even said he understood why they had to use it. There's nothing wrong with being Bronze, but it's a lot easier to get away with bad suzus in that rank than in any rank higher than that. What may work out in your games will not work outside of Bronze.
Saw someone in the comments who said they played with that Zen months ago and he did the same thing. It's their play style to suck ass and leave the healing completely to the other healer.
I’ve had mercy players who don’t heal just to fuck with people. Like literally just to go “HAHA LOOK AT MY STATS IM FUCKING WILD AND WERE STILL WINNING”.
Ooh I had a game like this. I had to play mercy because my team was so spread out and I had 23,500 healing by the end. I did win that game and I was so happy, but I was STRUGGLING. Zen had less than 5000 healing
I would never heal the zen like zen and ilari are the 2 heroes that you press 1 key and you can they die and still heal for some time it's basically afk healing (would put brig but you have to hit to heal )
I once won a qp match with a mercy on my team who had 5700 DMG. She got 11k heals tho, so actually helping the team a lot (and only died twice or so) . That was VERY impressive, it was a sweaty match and she basically carried. I wonder if that was some high rank player/streamer because it was obvious the enemy team was better than me and my friends, and she was better than the enemy team.
I assume this was a smurf or someone who doesn’t play support doing a no heal challenge or just not healing to make it more fair for the other team lol

I've only seen round one, but you can see on the killfeed that the Zen was carrying most fights. They were always getting 2-3 picks per fight, and were getting the opening pick(s) more often than not. That's just what OW2 is. Eliminations are worth more than all the healing in the world. You don't need to heal if the enemy team is too dead to damage your team. Yeah he's handicapping himself, but he's still carrying, and he's only doing it because it's a gold lobby, I'm sure this no heal business stops once he reaches diamond, since he's going to need to heal to win in higher lobbies.
@@tennosake320 If you're looking to crawl out of metal ranks as a support player, I recommend practicing an 80% damage, 20% healing playstyle in either an alt or QP. You'll see how OP doing damage on support is. (Especially Kiriko, Bap, Ana, Zen, Lucio) There's a reason most high rank players often talk and complain about how op and busted the support role is. It's not an exaggeration, the role has been broken for most of OW2. It's DPS but 10x better. The fact that so many are flaming a zen who's clearly carrying through damage, just goes to show that the problem is many support players are bad and don't understand their role. I've coached support players who literally state they "don't want to do damage because I'm not very good at damage" lol. Then get good at it? If they want to win games that is. Also if you notice, the Kiri was missing most of their kunai, which if they hit their shots, fights would have been done so much faster and easier.
So it's pretty obvious the Zen is a smurf. They have 10 more kills and more damage than anyone else on the team. They're obviously trolling becuase they aren't healing/using their ult, but they still did their fair share (well more than tbh it's probably a plat/diamond Zen in this gold lobby). Smart move by the Kiri picking up on this and staying back to heal. Honestly swapping to LW/Illari/Moira and just pumping heals into the team probably would have made life a little easier. Good title and video bait material but it's really more like "This Zen REFUSED To Heal... but was our best DPS. Is it Still Possible To Win? Yes. Yes it is." I love Emongg and his channel but one thing that's slightly grating that he does is farm these clips/games with obvious smurfs... It almost encourages this sort of behavior.
i get it they won maybe some people even say "zen carried" but it isn't hard to put an orb on someone it doesn't affect your damage dealt unlike if you were dps mora where healing will stop your damage hope it doesn't cause more zens to play like this And ooh about the title that's usually how youtube works lol
@@Bad3abdul So you pretty clearly totally misunderstood my comment. The zen is a plat/diamond player that is playing on an alternate account and smurfing in this lobby for fun. "It isn't hard to put an orb on someone; it doesn't affect your damage dealt." You're missing the point; they're trying to win in a lower-level lobby by handicapping themselves. Try to make sure you understand what a comment is saying before responding. My main issue with this video is Emongg covering it disengenuously (he's a top 500 player; he knows this is smurf trolling) and almost encouraging smurf gameplay and vods instead of covering real games.

The time of day for this map screams tf2 dustbowl to me haha.
So when bots do shit like that why shouldn't we be able to bully them? If they are going to do something like that why the hell not? But no they get their hand help and protected
Just report and avoid. What good does bullying them do?
The other Zen ulting off payload 😂🤦🏻♂️
POV; your the support who has frogger as their other support
I have no idea if it was the same guy, but I had a zen that did this too, except I think he did ult so probably not the same guy. It also might have been QP not sure.
I'm just glad it's not lagging every 5 seconds
i added that zen to my avoid list
I know that ana was so upset their solider and zaryia got off the payload
Feels like a stream challenge, playing support with 0 healing
Bro I’m a “dps support” my self but not using orbs is so annoying, it’s literally 1 click n forget
idk why the zenyatta didnt just do the challenge (if thats what hes doing) in quickplay, why troll in ranked?
Saw someone in the comments who said they played with that Zen months ago and he did the same thing. It's their play style to suck ass and leave the healing completely to the other healer.
I’ve had a zen like this in one of my matches. “Send main function isn’t healing” …………?
I had a Zen do the exact same thing last time I played it was definitely a game of Overwatch smh
Ive had this a few times, for me its always a zenyatta or moira
I wouldn’t have healed anyone either as the Kiri. Shove your challenge.
Isn’t the Zen refusing to heal something they can be reported for?
Yes. Report.
Zenn's orb is on kiri at the start of round two
when was that kiriko skin released i kind of want it
I’ve had mercy players who don’t heal just to fuck with people. Like literally just to go “HAHA LOOK AT MY STATS IM FUCKING WILD AND WERE STILL WINNING”.
How do you submit replays for him to react to? Had my most frustrating match in a while that I'd like to hear his opinion on.
Ive never done it before but maybe he got a discord server and its where u can submit them. I know its how flats does his.
But...why? It takes almost no effort to put orbs on your teammates...
OGs remember the Illari that wouldn't heal and was infamous on the OW reddit
Is the awkward's alt account or what where he did the no healing challenge and still one every game
Zen is already an "off-healer"/damage support. But refusing to not heal is crazy
I always refuse to not heal on Zen.
Ooh I had a game like this. I had to play mercy because my team was so spread out and I had 23,500 healing by the end. I did win that game and I was so happy, but I was STRUGGLING. Zen had less than 5000 healing
I wouldn’t have healed anyone either as the Kiri. Shove your challenge.
@@Adoyleonon you wouldn’t support your actually trying team?
@@MachoGyal Nope, and I never throw games. I’d like to think by disabling this behavior, it’d happen less.
These are the teammates i get when I'm on my demotion protection game
Anyone else notice that the Junkrat had 30 healing? How?
I would refuse to heal the zen if this was me
I wouldn’t have healed anyone either as the Kiri. Shove your challenge up your Zenyatta.
watching this while queuing for damage lol
I would never heal the zen like zen and ilari are the 2 heroes that you press 1 key and you can they die and still heal for some time it's basically afk healing (would put brig but you have to hit to heal )
I wouldn’t have healed anyone either as the Kiri. Shove your challenge.
I recently lost a QP match against a Mercy with 0 heals and 1,562 damage...
I wouldn’t have healed anyone either. Shove your challenge up your Zenyatta.
How is the Zen at 0 healing? Does he not get at least a little from self healing from the support passive?
support passive doesn't count as healing.
At least they got gold damage, but they could have used trance a few times to not die 17 times -_-
not even a zen ult heal...
I assume this was a smurf or someone who doesn’t play support doing a no heal challenge or just not healing to make it more fair for the other team lol
So he also never used transcendence?! Because zero heal is just disgusting.
I wouldn’t have healed that zen out of spite lol, I know you still should, but I can be petty enough to make them know what no healing feels like lol
If you notice one of your supports isnt healing, play cover, play your life. You will make the other supports life easier. Sitting in the middle, taking all the damage, is not going to help ya win those fights.
I wouldn’t have healed anyone either as the Kiri. Shove your challenge.
@@Adoyleonon my challenge? Playing your life is Overwatch 101 son.
@@fettbub92 Any challenge that involves throwing games. The win in this specific video is irrelevant, as the individual behavior is a throw.
Playing to live is a good idea, I agree.

this honestly feels like a smurf playing in lower ranks to do some stupid youtube challenge
Id bet money zen is doing some challenge like zero to gm no healing

Been watching too much Awkward videos
Even he throws heal orb on dive heroes x.x
He literally teaches you to do damage when your team doesn't need you to heal. Might actually want to watch his Unranked to GMs before commenting something like this.
@@aylinncuteasf me? I've watched multiple videos. When he's zen he throws heal orb on somebody then proceeds to dps.
@@Odiwixx I meant the original commenter sorry. Even when he plays Ana he'll always prioritize healing then DPS. I swear people who don't even watch his videos always telling lies 😂
@@aylinncuteasf you're not wrong there, people strive for attention
Why would we not spectate the zen
The kiriko submitted
@@strawberrytofu5174 well yeah clearly but the whole submission was about the zen who didn’t heal, the pov really should have been watching the zen seeing if he was in the slightest helping the team
I’m sorry but if you’re support and you do zero healing intentionally, you deserve to lose all your games
Cant say Zen didn't do anything at all? He just wasn't healing. 😂 He had the most kills, the most damage and he fed the most.
outhealed by a junkrat
If zen won't heal I won't heal zen. Simple
how would you ask for healing when playing a support as dps without healing that zen is on drugs

I wouldn’t have healed anyone either as the Kiri. Shove your challenge.
Yes. Yes it is."
I love Emongg and his channel but one thing that's slightly grating that he does is farm these clips/games with obvious smurfs... It almost encourages this sort of behavior.
i get it they won maybe some people even say "zen carried" but it isn't hard to put an orb on someone it doesn't affect your damage dealt unlike if you were dps mora where healing will stop your damage hope it doesn't cause more zens to play like this
And ooh about the title that's usually how youtube works lol
