Feels like half the spectator games are on Rialto. I wonder what it is about this map that drives people insane.
my theory: so many opportunities to get environmental kills/to be killed via the environment. it would mess with anyone's head at least a little bit.

It's a beautiful map that looks like Venice, they like to explore the canals. Up close and personal.
You'd think it'd be Colosseo because that map is by FAR the WORST in this entire game.

That other support had the worst game sense I can even think of ever seeing in my entire life. That was mindblowingly bad.. I didn't even want to believe that was possible..
I feel like a lot of it was them purposefully throwing but it's impossible to know what was going on on their end.
If the Sigma didn't c9 on first point defense, they probably full hold and win the game. Instead, they let them full cap twice. That's just brutal
That's what's funny, you can literally get to at least gold as tank just realizing you have to contest the point on defense to force a fight. Tanks in bronze/silver don't even understand this concept.

@@f4live69 Yeah this is just cope. You get shit tanks/dps because you are the same caliber support. The people who actually know what they are doing are in the higher ranks. Remember that it isn't possible to out heal damage. It's not your support's job to keep you alive, it's your job. Stop complaining about teammates and work on yourself.

Hearing someone being honest about their ability is such a nice change of pace. Feels bad for him for having the stickdrift but other than that he seems like a genuinely good teammate. I always hate how someone will try to blame the team as a whole when it comes to performance and ability rather than looking at how they performed themselves.
i played with stickdrift a lot too, and i mained Hanzo/Phara on console and boi it feels awful, now i can finally play on pc
Just because you can do better doesn’t mean you should have to. You shouldn’t have to play diamond level just to get out of bronze. That’s those peoples frustrations. Most know they aren’t perfect and could do better but it’s still frustrating and true at least 50% of the time.

Have had plenty of those rolling games, then the next round, the team appears to forget how to play and get absolutely demolished. 😂 many games of those and it feels impossible to right the ship lol at times. It's confusing how trams can be so differently one round to the next.

Try being a Widow, Ashe and Hanzo player with a drifted and broken controller, I cry everytime I go to use it 😭 my favorite controller is a Red Dualshock 4 and I’ve gotten stickdrift on it so I can’t use it at all. If I try, we end looking at the ceiling for 12 minutes.

I have a scuf gaming controller and ive dealt with stick drift for years. its kinda embarrassing when i wanna stand still but instead i end up looking like a bot with my controller making me move slowly like that💀

@@Cuddlingusthere are times when backwards GA is necessary and canceling GA won't be adequate for the purpose, e.g., needing to connect/reconnect beam to someone only briefly while quickly getting back into cover when that person is out of normal beam range, stuff like that
This is one of those rare VODs where I would wish Flats was the one spectating. That other support definitely needed a bit of a roasting if they were blaming their teammates after those plays. Hell I was going Flats mode there.

honestly even if it's not console, if someone's playing badly chat will NOT stop asking whether it's console. Like they think it's impossible for pc players to have bad game sense for some reason. There's a flats spectating bronze video where chat says "console's just built different" and flats has to clarify that the vod they're watching is PC.

Yeah, this is an all too common occurrence in metal ranks: pushing up well beyond the natural choke points of the map, especially on very good holds, made worse if the team is also not properly anticipating enemy ultimates that could break that hold. If I had five OW coins for the number of games I've had where I'm literally begging people to not touch the enemy spawn doors or stand in the open because we just need to hold the choke to win would probably net me a free battle pass at this point. I think it's a combination of the end game music getting folks a bit amped up, the victory being so close, but if you've also managed to basically hold them to the initial spawn area of the map folks just get a bit cocky. Sometimes it works, but then you end up with the enemy team breaking the hold and then they just snowball from there, and now you're staring down extra rounds or even a loss.
They were so close for the win, then the hanzo killed 3. Then the OT time almost hit zero a few times, before the Sigma ran away.
He already accepts he knows he made mistakes and doesnt blame his teammates for being the rank he is. He's got the right attitude and mindset to rank up 100%
Kiriko TP IS improved, one of the game devs spoke up over twitter recently about helping to smooth out the overall mechanics of the ability and was very pleased by it also - it was an overhaul that wasn't mentioned on the patch notes.
it was mentioned in the most recent patch notes, just at the bottom under the bug fixes section (which makes sense because it is a bug)

As a Brig main, it hurts seeing someone *that bad* at Brig. Like, even on the flank encounter with the Junkrat, how in the world do you not kill him there, just flail, shield bash, swing (not saying they should've even been there, but they should've made themselves USEFUL while there)
This was exactly what I was thinking watching it. I was legitimately hurting seeing how they were treating brig.

This Ana watched some ‘how to play Ana’ 10 min guide on TH-cam and heard ‘you should take some off angles to get good some anti-nades off’ and took it to a whole new level
The stick sensors in controllers are meant to break down fairly fast. Every controller I've used in the last 8 years developed stick drift after ~80 hours of gameplay. The worst part is it's one of the few components that didn't recieve an upgrade in the Xbox elite Controllers, so twice the price and it fails just the same. Been the biggest issue with console gaming for a long time IMO. 2 years on my PC setup and the only replacements have been upgrades. With my consoles it feels like a necessity to spend another $80 on a controller every 3 months. Not fun:)

dude I had some brutal stick drift for like almost two months. I feel your pain my man
I'm late to this, but after the attack I think I figured it out - the Ana thinks that shooting only damages enemies and not heals teammates, so they're only using the grenade to heal teammates because they don't know any better.
this is a an epidemic in low rank supports, where supports have heard "in order to climb, you need to make plays and dps more" ... totally losing sight of their own capabilities .
This was a treat, indeed.
20:10 Yeah Kiriko's tp has been a lot better so far. Only had one that didn't work. Last season it didn't work like 15-50% of the time.

holy heck, that other support. this was deeply painful. they're playing so selfishly. the team is clearly an afterthought to them.
I am normally extremely patient with lower rank gameplay because its from lower ranks! getting upsetti about it is silly. people in lower ranks are learning the game.
but this is fundamentally different. this isn't just someone making mistakes. this other support just doesn't care about their team.
also, you can just TELL they're the kind of person to be like "my teams are the reason I'm in silver, my aim is so good, i deserve plat at LEAST" when in reality, their positioning and game sense is legitimately bronze quality.
re: Kiriko tp, the last patch notes talked about updates to the tp and that it should work more consistently now, including when teammates are crouching. my understanding is that this type of ability is extremely difficult to make work in such a complex game, but it seems like they're making progress on troubleshooting the issue, which i appreciate.

Honestly it seemed like the beginning of the end was when the other support decided instead of playing back for the last 12 seconds of a round to head right up to the spawn door and die.
One time we had a good first round and my friend was on Ana, pretty much hard pocketing me on tank. I was playing a tank I wasn't the most comfortable on, so it helped a lot. But then for some reason, the other support takes Ana and does a terrible job healing me. Sure enough it was a loss and we almost didn't even score a single point.
That enemy tank in the first round switching to road hog when they have an ana and a zen…. What

I'm surprised every day that I wake up and there's not a couple huge streamers backing a magnetic stick (non-potentiometer) high end controller that works for PC/PS5/Xbox. It would sell really well I think. I don't use a controller on PC except for Dark Souls type games, but I'd buy one.

There are times when he has to stop doing damage, and cancel his right click, because more than one person are in critical health. That's probably what he meant.
Did you watch? His ana wasn't healing anyone when he was on zen so he was constantly trying to throw harmony around to heal the whole team lol

Well that was a game! Pretty sure the player can rank up if they get a new controller/fix the stick drift issue and work on their aim a bit. Positioning and awareness not bad! Not silver at any rate.

Good ol' days of n64 and sticks not working as well since getting overused a lot in mario party and other games. Plenty of stick drift in the game and on the controllers themselves. The sticks often rolled around. 😂

Console players deal with the most bs in terms of gameplay. I can't scope in as Ana without the fear of being stuck scoped in until I am dead, a Reinhardt pinning me so hard it literally just crashes my game, or general random disconnecting. It has caused my comp in-game rank to go Bronze 5. When I can play in my friends quickplay matches that are around high Gold - Low Plat. I am hardstuck Bronze 5 because of Technical issues. But it is kinda funny.

Watching this makes me think that Bronze Silver Gold and Plat the players are the same type people on console. I say this as a console player and is Diamond and Plat in my ranks. Being on support and seeing your other support feeding or the tank feeding or one dps pops off while the other one is 1 and 10 I swear players don’t improve
You would think that Rialto is the spot for cthulus cult and he lives at the bottom of the water mind controlling people to find the strangest way to take a dip into the ocean making them think that they will either get healed or their character can swim.
