@Leongrimaldi Go with this one. It's the best all in one mixer out today. Plus traktor just released brand new software for it that you can upgrade for free. The jog wheels are kind of small but once you get used to it, (as with anything) it will no longer matter. There's tons of people who scratch with this thing. And yes you can control your whole track lists/playlists with the controller.
@LafayetteH Hey I actually just ordered mine and paid $770 for it. Go to ebay and find the traktor s4 seller "8thstreetmusic" send them a message offering $770 for it because he said that was the lowest possible price they could do. Just a heads up on some money savings!!
I'm dj and I can say this thing beat the current market offering in almost all the aspects; the only equipment I see can be better than this is the Denon X1600 mixer + 2 x Denon S3700, as is quality-embed equipment, you can play cd, and you can control Traktor from the scratch with that. I suggest to everybody who is thinking on Pioneer CDJ-2000 & DJM-800: are you crazy? Will you waste your money getting for US$5,500+ what you can get for only a half with Traktor S4 or Denon X1600 + 2xS3700?
why go over stuff everything has..."has beatmatch in old fashion way"...every cdj has that shit..same go for loop nd cues...i wanted to know more of its own unique features otherwise a good review.

I am not a user of NI and pretty much got bored of NI hardware some time ago for personal reasons but the way he presented it made me feel like i want to have one of NI products again. GIVE HIM A JOB! and im not takin a piss here at the guy like he doesn't have one. Even if he got one give him one within your team. He's worth it and i'd love to see him presenting future production!
u say in the demo that u dont need to touch ur laptop. But can u really reach ur playlist folders with the controller or just the whole track list? The jog wheel seems a bit tiny to feel nice to scratch with? is the Pioneer version better on this point. ? How good is the sound quality is it same as their soundcard "audio 4 dj"..many questions but im a pioneer dude from the day 1 and i have not made my choice yet if i will go fr the pioneer version or this one? anyone who knows
good dj = beat match, good fx while playing and good mixing :D besides, even good worl famous dj's make mistakes, and those mistakes are what makes them good (besides other things xD)..The way you correct your off beat and the way you play the next track driving the people crazy is what makes a good dj. @greg0716 hook up your turntables to channel 1 and 4, and play your records. if you wanna use audio 8 dj, then have the turntables still hooked up to channel 1 and 4 and hook it up to the audio 8 dj as if you were using a normal 2 channell mixer.
@1972sabs forum was down because the whole NI server got overloaded with their sale douche. the orange tone differs if the sample is aired (bright) or muted (dark)

@Aprosperitis you can, but it comes with Traktor Pro S4, so there's no reason to use Virtual DJ if you have a better software available.

Native instruments is a little like apple. they do the software AND the hardware and they work perfectly together.
