    I've tried techniques from several of your vides on executive interviewing. They work! On Monday I closed a phone interview with this "I'm really excited about this position and I want to know more. I'd like to meet with you in person next week to learn more." Hiring manager says "I'd like that" or something similar, said she'd check her calendar. Not optimistic, but it sure would be nice to get hired for $130,000 consulting job!

    We Antinatalists know that the ONLY fair and just way for people to make money is for government to guarantee giving equal money and employing everybody in useful important labor that benefits everyone equally, and not a tiny 0.01% excessively,
    who did not give their prior consent to being born, unless those people breed themselves.
    If government won't make life perfectly fair and good, then government should absolutely outlaw people having kids.

However, I am eager to branch into Saas Sales, and more complex enterprise selling, of which I have limited experience; but with my challenger and activator strengths, I am confident I can accelerate any company's revenue goals. Your videos are very timely and I am grateful I bumped into them. Nothing is by accident. I am thankful I do use my hands, to be affirmative, naturally when I speak; but I wasn't sure if alright?. You confirmed that just now. As well as the other points. I will keep you informed. • @TammyKabell-crc

      Hi Alex - it is NEVER our intention to ignore ANYONE that contacts us, whether or not they want to hire our firm. I looked through our records and found one Alex Young, and I just sent you (hopefully the right person) a personal email correspondence. If you do receive it, and I would happy to continue the conversation. If you didn't receive my email, or the original response to the "Contact Us" form from someone with your TH-cam username, the message (along with the original reply) might have gone into a spam folder. In either case, if you would like to contact me directly by email, you can reach me at Tammy@BeyondJobSearching.com and I will answer any questions you might have myself. I'm very sorry if you didn't receive our reply to your inquiry earlier.

    Hi Tammy! Thank you so much for being you; and sharing you with me!
    Can you tell me what’s the difference between the 15 seconds Elevator Pitch and the new terminology Audio Business Card and then the Individual Value Proposition?

    • @TammyKabell-crc
      @TammyKabell-crc  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The "Audio Business Card" is actually the terminology I use, and it's essentially an evolution of the elevator pitch, because the standard elevator pitch is focused on you as a job seeker, and what you are looking for. The Audio Business Card is a formula I came up with to describe what business problems you solve; in other words, it's focused on the employer and what you can do for them. That way, it's stating your value proposition, or, in other words, what they would be getting if they hired you. So think about what your greatest strength would be, or the biggest benefit an employer would have in hiring you, and then describe whatever pain point the employer might have - like, they want to get the attention of more customers, or they are seeing smaller profit margins than they've had in the past, and then how you can solve that problem. I hope this helps!

    120 videos on what to say and now it doesnt matter?

    • @TammyKabell-crc
      @TammyKabell-crc  6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You've raised an interesting point, @Chuckxjarhed and I think it deserves some discussion. You'll find that many of my videos are around the other aspects of communication, such as nonverbal or body language. I think that the word DO matter, but if the studies are correct, then it counts for 7% of your total communication. That 7% is key, though, because if the words you use are uninformed or way off base, then even if you nail the other 93% of nonverbal communication, you won't get the job or go further along in the hiring process.
      In other words, Chuck, all 100% of your communication has to be aligned and consistent in order for you to be perceived as a top performer. My point was that even if you flub up a little on the wording, you can still make a good impression if everything else in your communication style shows you to be that top performer. If you take that attitude, you'll be less stressed going into the interview, and will actually perform better.
      I recently had a client ask me to coach her on how to be more "executivey" in her interview answers, and my advice to her was mostly around body language and voice inflection, vs. just using different wording. However, that's not to say that the words don't play a part in how they perceive you.... it's just less than most people think.

      Hi Ravi - We work with clientele all over the world, and we find that the techniques we use are just as effective outside of the U.S. as they are here in the States. Email me if you'd like to set up a Skype conversation or talk with one of my coaches. My direct email is in the description.

    But pandering to a normative public is superficial. works, though, of course.

      luce irigaray and helene cixous talk about female "excess"- which includes a body that is not constricted according to protocol, a body that speaks too much, beyond what the other wishes to hear, but what must be said. People cannot read that; this renders the differential subject unintelligible- and the woman (like the animal), or the HSP, anyone not rote- is thinged, dismissed, not heard. That is not on the speaker, that bigotry is on the brute audience. To make up your mind about someone in the first seven seconds- is grossly unethical. Why teach people how to pander to that unethicality. Bc it is our world, yes.

      At the same time, I don't discount intuition. But many are not entitled judges, they are only casual bigots.

    Good info. Thanks. You might want to consider cutting the background music. To me it's just distracting. I don't think you need it. Just a suggestion. I'd rather just listen to you.

      Thanks - this is actually a pretty old video, and I got a lot of feedback about the background music, so I stopped using it entirely. Thank you for taking the time to share your opinion, because I listened!

    If someone starts off a sales/motivational/informative training video with the statement “ hi, my name is ______ and I’m
    REALLY EXCITED to,...”. You should immediately turn it off .
    Like his video . Never filled with good information. Just pre rehearsed regurgitated info that’s typically not that insightful or original .
    Sounds like you’re selling a shamwow or an awesome auger or some product I don’t need
