      @@TammyKabell-crc And I mean and meant it. I used your tips for an Assistant Director position I am interviewing for-2nd interview. It went well. I have done all I can so now I just wait to hear back. Currently unemployed and working on my poetry manuscript for publication as I search. But when I have income flow I will look at your services and hope I get a one on one with you. Thanks for all your tips. Keep smiling my fellow smiler 😄

      @@TammyKabell-crc I unfortunately did not get the position. What is happening is I make it to the final rounds or last 2 candidates and they go with another person. HR calls or emails to give me good feedback about my interview presence and answers, and ends with the news. They say it is not my resume and my cover letters are actually unconventional and attractive but I am shy of the amount of experience they want. I can't go back to the past - I broke my time machine :) so I have to look forward and keep refining my answers and applying for jobs below and at my level. At least that is the plan I have going.

    Hi Tammy, I like your videos. I’ve been through the job interviews in the past few months, but no luck landing any of them. Just wondering if you could help me with that. Thanks!

    • @TammyKabell-crc
      @TammyKabell-crc  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Jerry - since I don't know anything about your situation, that's a hard one to give advice on.
      I would say that, generally speaking, most people spend all of their efforts in interviewing focusing on being perceived as the most competent for the job. More importantly, though, is to be perceived as the most relevant to the company/division/team and the most likable.
      You can show your relevance by asking questions about what their biggest pain points are (challenges), as well as their aspirations (goals/initiatives). Then answer their answers to those questions by giving an example of how you have helped your current or past employers with very similar circumstances.

    I have been working in an acting management position for over the past ten months.
    The position has opened to any other staff who may have a degree or more than five-years experience.
    I do not have a degree, but I have sixteen years experience.
    I am not sure if not having a degree hurts me.
