A Purpose For The Flowers

This was filmed in 2022 right before we took a brief TH-cam break. I wanted to share the video as background for why we're growing flowers and why you may hear me say I'm making bouquets, or giving updates as to how many we've given away.

I was very honored to be selected in 2022 as a Growing Kindness Ambassador; one of 100 in the United States. I was in league with some amazing people, all with kind hearts, a passion for learning and sharing. It was a great year for learning about new flowers, growing techniques, resetting my heart and mind in the garden and sharing something I love with others around me. One of the biggest benefits was that I enlisted a group of friends to help me carry out this grand plan. The Kindness Crew was...is...simply amazing. I feel very fortunate to have such a caring group of people cheering me on and then spreading a little sunshine in our neck of the woods.
In 2023, I'm an Ambassador Alumni and am enjoying connecting with other alumni and the new 2023 Ambassadors for another great year of flowers and giving. The Kindness Crew is doing their thing again this year and we're having a blast trying to break our record, connect with friends and family and take a few minutes to stop and smell the roses.
