Becca is truly the goat for new general music teachers such as myself. Thank you for all the great free resources!

I do 4 corners with the Instrument families in the corners and a student drumming. When the drum stops students stop walking in a circle and go to the nearest corner. The drummer has their eyes closed and picks an instrument family.

I've been trying to think of how to do a 4 corners lesson for the past year! (second-year teacher) This was so helpful and gave me some great ideas. I love your videos, thank you!!

I've done instrument four corners before... I put a sign in each corner with a different instrument and then put sound clips in a playlist on shuffle. The students have to listen to identify the instrument or family. Buuut... how do you do four corners with covid? We have to stay 3 ft apart; or 6 ft apart if heart rates are elevated (increases aerosols). I'm thinking that if they're running to corners, the 6ft rule would apply.

I would definitely say the 6 ft applies. I would split them into groups so they take turns or use the strategies I talk about in this video from last year th-cam.com/video/9sN7u7jGayY/w-d-xo.html
