I go to a beaty school to get it done and its only $50, plus it just looks easy. Its always harder then it looks. It it was really this easy there wouldnt be this many damn fail videos out there.
half way through im just like fuck it guess thats also getting bleached then lmao its so messy and then your hair gets all tangled as you move it MY GOD
Hi! Around 9:57 when wrapping your hair, to avoid damage try not be let your mids & ends flop on top of the bleach as that will damage them, keep them as much away from the bleach as possible 😊 beautiful result!
OMG you have done such an amazing job bleaching your hair my mum is a qualified hairdresser for 25 years she is teaching me so much things about hairdressing I always want to become a hairdresser just like my mum keep up the good work :)
Hey y'all, she has a pretty light natural color so consider that when looking to bleach your hair at home. Her underlying pigment is gold/yellow but if your hair is darker by the slightest, the underlying color is red/orange! Be careful it will take multiple attempts
Yep....my old colorist was perfect with the white until he rushed, got the color wrong then burned my baby hairs. Thankfully I have a LOT of hair that grows fast. Not so lucky to find someone new. I'm about to do it myself!
If he was perfect and he did only this one (big) mistake, why do you need a new one? I think he won't do the same mistake again and if he only burned your babyhairs one time and nothing more, then everything is fine.
Schwarzkopf lightener should at least be at a ratio of 1:1.5 to 1:2.5 as the directions say and depending what type of lightening you’re doing. It’s really important because you can burn the scalp, damage the hair, etc. In the words of Guy Tang...always measure! Obviously I would always recommend adding a bond multiplier like Olaplex, especially if there’s any accidental overlapping going on but also just in general. Also, it’s always best to use the corresponding developer for that certain Schwarzkopf lightener you are using (Blondme or Igora, as you listed) to get the right consistency and lift for the best outcome. Lastly, leaving your ends out of the plastic wrap would be ideal, that way they’re not sitting on the lightener, you can always use a shower cap, they work great. Because your base is so light, this method may work for you, but for someone with a much darker base, they have waaay less room for mistakes.
BlackThornRose127 Good to know! I'm white blond and thinking of doing this myself bc I can't find someone who does it right since my last colorist (hopefully my science degrees are helpful lol)....The new girl had to redo mine bc it was yellow and as soon as I washed it w BC purple shampoo the regrowth went back to yellow. Never happened to me ever. Sooo frustrated!
The Lady Borgia The best thing to do would be to contact your old colorist (if you can) to ask them what they used to lift your hair or the salon you went to might have it on file. Obviously whichever products were used to lift your hair worked in harmony without any issues. I had to try a few different lighteners before I found the one for me (which is the Schwarzkopf Blondme line). So it’s not always the stylist, sometimes it is, but sometimes it’s also the products they use.
BlackThornRose127 Definitely a good idea normally, but I didn't ask my old colorist bc I don't necessarily trust him anymore. I left because he started doing shady stuff and he went diva (short version) , rushed my hair, messed up the color badly and had to fix it and was pissed about being called on it. Then caught him lying as well...to the owner and myself nonetheless....he burned my baby hairs (among other things) and tried to tell me I burned my hair off with a curling iron bc he saw a tiny burn on the other side of my forehead from briefly using a curling iron once and accidentally bumping myself 2 weeks before. I didn't burn my hair and never have in my life (and had pics to prove it.) I'd love to know exactly what he used bc it was always perfect, but who knows what he's going to say.
The Lady Borgia A lot of times the salon will have it on file, and they give it to the stylist with their appointment slips so they can remember what they did the last time you came in, so you may not even have to speak with that guy, the salon might be able to tell you. If not, there’s a ton of products out there, just make sure to do your research, and always go with a salon quality brand, especially if it’s lightener.
Just bleached my hair for the first time a few weeks ago. I have relatively short but very thick and wavy hair. I tried sectioning it and mimicking tutorials like this but in the end panicked and just tried to instinctively spread the bleach as evenly as I could. Used 40 developer and left it on for 40 minutes... and guess what, it actually came out really nice! No hair breakage or falling out, and I went from dark brown to a nice light blond! I think I’m just lucky tho because my hair is naturally thick and very healthy and hadn’t been treated with color in years. 4 days later, I dyed it a light ash blond with some box dye. NOW tho, I’m thinking of re-bleaching it, all of it, not just the roots, and am wondering if I can get away with it this time ...
I’m about to bleach my hair..my mom has been a hairdresser for 35+ years...and I feel like when she comes back from work she’s going to freak out...let’s hope this goes well!!
Good video, I get your struggle when it comes to applying it to the back of your hair. The 3 way mirror is a Godsend. Loved the baby hair's tip, I use to always start with the perimeter of my hairline and your tip of doing it last has saved me 💙 I thank you and even more my "baby hair's" really Thank You 👍
I’ve decided to go to a salon until I get to the platinum blonde colour I want but when it comes to root touch ups I really want to do that myself. Can’t afford salon prices every 8 weeks!
Way better than most I've seen but you should only apply in in a downward stroke. Meaning brush in the direction of your ends. Dont go up like that. But with that said way better than most of the at home bleaching I've seen
I know it's obvious to most people, but for those of us who have NEVER done this before....How long did you wait before washing it? Do you use a special shampoo? Conditioner? Did you link the products?
I'm not a profesional, but have been doing my own hair for a long time. I leave the bleach on for about 40mins to 1hour but you need to keep checking it. Some hair lifts very fast, if you have lighter hair it would be less time. I use regular shampoo and conditioner after wards
They sell hair wraps for like .99 cent at Sally’s, I actually am weird and I use heat to process my hair because my hair is rude and it’ll dry before it processes so I’ll use the wrap then get a wet towel put it in the microwave and then On top of my hair, also it’ll still process even if dried.
Ms. Mel -- quick question. So, i want to confirm 1) processing time clock starts to count down AFTER you finished applying to your whole head ? ....and 2) that applying to the back makes sense to do almost dead last b/c of concerns of white-blonde overlap -- for regrowth, start from the front FIRST because you are looking at potentially breaking white hair with overlapped bleach. THANK YOU!
Soooo how do you have access to the products cuz these are salon professional only products ? I wish you had the links to where we can purchase them in caption 🤔

How can you protect the hair after bleach? I want to bleach it so i can apply directions hair dye afterwards but i don't want my hair to fall off.. Is there any apply at home treatment you can recommend?
if you have thick hair and didn't do your roots in a while (always me ;) ) i recommend doing half a head at a time, it takes so long to get all the bleach on there can be quite a difference in the amount of colour lift on the bits you got to last otherwise 👍
Hi! Is it okay if someone can reply with a full instruction on how I can dye my black hair to a vibrant shade of blue (not pastel)? (From bleached dyed to black)
I'm sure buy now u have figured out something because it's been 7 months but if you have not solved your problem I was thinking you could just look it up on Google (sometimes) it gives pretty good advice lolol
I'm dying my hair. once again. I'm 12. and I'm the only person in my school who has their hair dyed and rn it's pink and I'm thinking of dying it green because the pink is fading alot
I do my hair of what you see on my profile but I bleach only the red die section would it be the same way with that section? It's really annoying that my real hair color grows over that lol. It's also annoying that even the most permanent die I find ends up getting lighter but I'm curious with the bleach though.
Im confused as my hairdresser said to wash my hair before i go in for colour bleach/colour because the grease and oils act as a barrier and the products dont attach as easily.
I have been trying forever it seems to get my pixie cut the color of urs I hav bleached it myself I have went to a beautician but it always has a yellow tint even after toner!! I'm fixing to bleach it again any suggestions
Angelina Carraway35YRSOLD If you hair is still yellow after toning, it’s not lifted enough. What may look yellow and just needs to be toned, is really about one level darker than it needs to be to achieve that more platinum blonde shade.
it turned out that way without toner? i think i need some fake hair to practice on mine ends up orange and i end up at the salon anytime i try. lol. Maybe next tim should try 30 volume developer but a salon lady told me to never use 30 and she was like pro at doing blonde vs. other ones.
So i am very new to this, I've never ever lightened or bleached my hair and i just want to know what's the difference between the aluminum foil bleaching and this kind of application? When should i use foil and why? Sorry i am so dumb but everything is so confusing
Thewifeswapped I started using that in my hair when i bleach my roots!!! So far my hair is so smooth compared to the “” professional “” who fucked up my hair ! Cant wait to cut off her fuck up! I do a better job than the chick who had a license !
What colour do you want? To make your non-grey hair match the grey hair? You can use a pretty low developer, I just used 13vol (4%, not even recommended by the maker, Wella Blondor Soft Creme Lightener) and got a pretty good result, it's gentler, especially with creme bleach and oil added, so you can bleach a second time if it's not lifted far enough. Using higher developers, especially 30 and 40vol can be pretty harsh.
Amy roots are overdue I appreciate your info I like to see other people do and I try to adjust for best results from the best technique. Love the color of your hair💟💞💕👍🏻👍🏻💁🏼👩🏼🙋🏼
I'm pretty new to bleaching my sooo, won't my hair fall off? Is it when I leave it on too long or don't mix it right?... I always see those videos when people pull a lot of their hair out after bleaching....that's why I don't want to bleach my hair at home-
i wonder what happens when someone dies with hair bleach in and is found much later. like i’m sure their hair is insalvageable. but it’s just hair it’s not the face so what do they do?
New subbie here! Found your channel through this video and I'm loving it!! I'm having trouble finding the video about how you tone your hair.. I have dark blonde/brown hair and I'm trying to go blonde. Any helpful hints/tips you might have ? Appreciate it :)
yes me two looks like she lied about that makes me wonder??? should I watch another one of her video!!!!! mmm mmm no I'm good but FYI if you say you're going to do something you should probably do it especially because you are bleaching your hair and obviously people like me who don't know how look for a video wanting to see the whole process of bleaching it then toning it like ( How RUDE )
I have natural blond hair, that darkens with lack of sunlight, so when I go to bleach it I can't tell which parts are bleached or naturally blond, so I get a spotty result.
the potency of the developer, 20 should be used at home, 30 and 40 are much more powerful and can easily over do it and burn your hair, usually only hairdressers bleach with 30 or 40

If u have curly hair plzzzzz don’t straighten ur hair before bleaching. Unnecessary heat damage
Is it the same if I have wavy hair but I straighten my hair?

Defining Natali I think she has naturally straight hair so she doesn’t know, and she just meant so it would be easier to apply dye on

My hair colorist always mixed olaplex with her bleach and it saved my hair so much grief!!
Thewifeswapped I started using that in my hair when i bleach my roots!!! So far my hair is so smooth compared to the “” professional “” who fucked up my hair ! Cant wait to cut off her fuck up! I do a better job than the chick who had a license !
Where do you buy it?
Heather White my sister in law who is a professional hair stylist
@@The_Real_HeatherMarie i think you can get at walmart or Amazon
What if you’re hair is 90% silvery white and all u want is one even color? What volume developer should I be using.
Luz Figueroa 10%
you should put some bleach in your shampoo! and use silver shampoo. that will work.
How can I do the back of my head?! 😱
LionSze my issue 😰😰

New subbie here! Found your channel through this video and I'm loving it!! I'm having trouble finding the video about how you tone your hair.. I have dark blonde/brown hair and I'm trying to go blonde. Any helpful hints/tips you might have ? Appreciate it :)
yes me two looks like she lied about that makes me wonder??? should I watch another one of her video!!!!! mmm mmm no I'm good but FYI if you say you're going to do something you should probably do it especially because you are bleaching your hair and obviously people like me who don't know how look for a video wanting to see the whole process of bleaching it then toning it like ( How RUDE )
enjoyed the video,
i know how bleaching can be very pretty risky process,
Thank you my bisexual was in need of a self destructive hair choice
This quarantine thing has me watching thiss
I'm naturally blonde but my hair isn't platinum at all it's more of a honey color and I'm dyeing my hair light pink should I still bleach it?
I think you could do a dark pink. I would some Brad Mondo pink dying videos. If you want a cool pastel pink you might need to bleach.
What about black hair? How high should the number of developer be?
Loreal Paris Platinum Blonde is a Good Dye too for Going Blonde Some #Advice #Tips
Thank you so much for this video. Now I can save money by bleaching my hair on my own.
Anyone know where the toning video is?
What brand of bleach to you use
We doing this!! #QuarantineHairColoring
I have natural blond hair, that darkens with lack of sunlight, so when I go to bleach it I can't tell which parts are bleached or naturally blond, so I get a spotty result.
what’s the difference between 20 30 and 40 volume developer??
the potency of the developer, 20 should be used at home, 30 and 40 are much more powerful and can easily over do it and burn your hair, usually only hairdressers bleach with 30 or 40
