- Naruto Shippuden and Boruto have a lot of OP anime characters, and a lot of villains, but there's one that remains more powerful and awesome then most others, and that is Lord Swagkage's naruto husbando: Madara Uchiha, and his greatest asset, even more then his fight against Hashirama, the kage, Naruto and Sasuke, or massive arsenal of overpowered jutsu including meteors and susanoo, was his insane hype, so let's do an OP analysis dissecting Madara Uchiha's hype...

@shenron Doflamingo was foreshadowed longer than Madara and we got tidbits of occasional hype to keep us invested in him. And unlike Madara, he wasn't offed by some random villain.
Madara getting cucked by Zetsu to bring out kaguya its the biggest pile of shit in History. I always Saw Madara as the FINAL/ULTIMATE Villain right After or Before Sasuke/Naruto Last Battle. that right there would have ended Naruto Shippuden as this Perfect Golden thing that I have been waiting to see for YEARS!. If anything they should've build up this kaguya character from when they first mentioned her up to Boruto's Final Villain or whatever (To give this character some of that Madara curiosity/excitement). That in itself would have given Madara the Chance to have a Good ending, and given me a good Reason to keep on watching after Shippuden ended.

Zetsu was Part of Madara's plan to return, Zetsu betraying Madara seems like something they decided to do last minute for shock value or something.
To be honest I have no Idea, I don't think he'll be of any use in it, there's Naruto/Sasuke who I imagine are stronger than Madara at this point in the series if they go up against a strong villain. (If that's the only purpose for bringing him back)

OK so id very much like to know where on earth was it stated that 7-year-old itachi is kage level, to my recollection the only thing that even approached that was the 3rd hokage stating that at 7 years old HE THOUGHT like a kage. Also even if itachi was kage level at 7 (which is never stated), hashirama is well above kage level so, 7 year itachi is NEVER close to hashirama.
2nd Hashirama said he was a better shinobi in the sense that he endured a lot more than he did for much more, in the whole philosophy of "What is a Shinobi",not in the sense that he was stronger than him, besides Hashirama has never been one to compare powers.
3rd there is not one way on earth that Itachi, despite his intellect can beat Madara who not only has an equally sharp mind or maybe better, achieved a susanoo far stronger than itachi's, lived his entire life on the battlefield , fighting the greatest shinobi who ever lived with the most broken kekkei gekkai of the series (therefore has a lot more experience and a better battle instinct than itachi ever will), knows literally everything about the sharigan including the mangekyo, izanagi, izanami etc... not to mention madara has the EMS which makes it impossible for him to go blind from mangekyo overuse unlike near blindness itachi, and this is taking into consideration EMS madara without kyubii, no rinnegan or regeneration or any of that bs.
Nope sorry i doubt Kishimoto ever said that cause if he did it would mean he has no idea how power scaling in his own series actually works.

But the fact that you only focus on the perspective of "irony" and completely ignore the glaring problems about Kaguya's appereance and Madara's death, and most importantly label others shallow and empty just because you happen to discover a little hidden creativity, is shallow.
Speaking as if the purpose of Madara's death was that tiny twist, is empty.

You know what bugs me the most about Madara's death. Kishimoto says he couldn't think of a way to kill him what he meant was no way for the main characters too kill him. Because Might Gai did kill him. Gai destroyed the part of Madara with the Hashirama cells and of Madara's seen abilities only his Sage Art Light Fang could potentially be fast enough to keep up with 8th Gate Gai. But then he regenerated because Kishimoto needed the main characters to be the winner not a supporting character.
Madara is simply one of my favorite anime villains of all time. The shock and awe of his revelation in the manga, and the power his name held made you whisper " oh shit " when he came out of that coffin. The foreshadowing and legend of his character made you realize in that instant how much of an actual threat he was. That and his hair is simply beautiful. He has a great character design, with a really complex and interesting backstory that made him the actual mastermind all along. Too bad he was ruined by " Kaguya." Maybe if she was foreshadowed as much as Madara was then it would of been alright, but I still think Madara holds the crown of best Naruto villain.

Madara Uchiha was undoubtedly robbed off of being the final villain for the series. The set up and foreshadowing of his villainous presence was godly, and what I found even more endearing was the fact that Kishimoto did a great job fleshing out his character motivation and exploring his impact on the modern shinobi system alongside Hashirama. He was tragic,but loveable; menacing, but messianic. A savior of the shinobi world written out of the series due to poor writing from Kishimoto and the Shonen Jump staff. He will be missed ...

Madara was so op he became self aware. Kishimoto couldn't even kill him and had to ass pull his death to save the real world.
Kishimoto also said in the interview that he only killed Itachi off, because otherwise he would have defeated Madara.

Watch Kaguya vs team 7 again before Kaguya appeared black zetsu said Kaguya was building a white zetsu army and that army was for Momoshiki,Kinshiki and the entire Otsutsuki clan that are in Boruto.

The final villain should have been an Uzumaki, it would have been pretty poetic, and it make more sense, sense they were wiped out for no real reason with no aid from the Hidden Leaf.
I still believe Kishimoto’s biggest mistake was killing Madara off after he activated the infinite tsukyomi, the hype for him throughout the final stages of the war were WAY too good for him to not be the final villain. A perfectly animated Madara with very new powers (rinnesharingan/two rinnegan) vs Naruto and Sasuke going all out would have been the cherry on top for this series, still pissed about it to this day
@Kesk kin If Kaguya returns in Boruto, she could be one of the main villains for that series if Black Zetsu had stayed around, the writers would have made it interesting, I just feel like the final fight was WAY more fitting for Madara than it was for Kaguya

Madara is my favourite Naruto character but the best villain in the show for me has to be Zabuza because of how it ended for Madara I liked the way zabuza died a lot more.
How to hype? Pff easy, just make his clones susanoos obliterate the 5 kage at once, make himself swipe through shinobi alliance like it was a walk in the park while throwing meteorites left and right, and also cast susanoo without even having eyes. Shouldnt be a problem 👌

Madara fought to the death with Hashirama. We’re talking earthquakes, mountains being split and acres of forests being wiped out by their final confrontation.
But Madara’s fight with the five Kage was equivalent of that of picking fights with children.. mere children. He just toyed with them. Let it also be known that he carved the location which renowned as the final valley.
Hashiramas wooden golem is as big and powerful as the perfect susanoo.
I can still remember the overwhelming, foaming at the mouth hype I felt wondering if THIS would be the chapter that we would get a single sentence more information about Madara Uchiha. FEW characters were as yearned for as Madara. But I can think of three.
1) The one warrior Zaraki Kenpachi respected. (When I learned it was the Fourth Captain, I jumped on my bed and pound my feet on the corner walls. The perfect "instant plot twist" of taking two identities completely opposite to each other and simply say, "time pasted, the character changed". Deadly warrior became kind doctor over thousands of years.)
2) The Purple Guy from Five Nights at Freddy's. (How can a point-and-click horror game produce so much hype? How could a pixelated mini-game IN a point-and-click game be so satisfying?! In Game 3, To finally meet Springtrap, the fused soul of a child-murdering psycho and the bunny suit he loved to wear as he murdered and to have it be the ONLY animatronic chasing you the whole game. The only thing better than that was realizing in Game 4 that you have been the same character in every game, the only person who would endure five nights of hell over and over again: Purple Guy's own son, trying to undo his evil.)
3) Madoka being revealed as the greatest of all magical girls in Madoka Magika. (She could be the greatest villain or the greatest hero, which timeline are we in right now? 13 episodes of waiting for one little girl to decide her wish to ask for in return for eternal service as a magical girl, and the wish, the outcome of the wish, the power she gains from the wish, OMG, I was hyped over the outfit, there wasn't anything I wasn't hyped to see and it delivered it all.)
Thank God Naruto came out at a time when there were little to no Leaks

kishimoto was always on some kind of hurry. If only he was as passionate as oda(creator of one piece)the show would have become more hit than it is. He was worst at female character development. He should have continued writing Naruto by changing the last plot. If Naruto was still airing then it would have bring greatest clash between animes. Just imagine Naruto and one piece every Sunday😎
