Just tried it today but it appears warmane has made some changes. 1st they buffed the damage that the mobs do. 2nd I got only Borean Leather Scraps and occasionally got some Borean Leather. I did it on normal mode. I guess this method of farming is not worth it anymore.
If you disenchant all green items and make enchants from mats you will make even more gold
but problem is u need to have skinning on every character xd

Arctic fur was cheap af back in the days in OG Wotlk, i remember quite clearly as i was grinding them for some time...

Why u farm Oculus in Normal mode and every mob drops you Borean Leather? I'm farming in normal too but it drops me "Borean Leather Scraps" ?
there is a quest in storm peak where you have to kill mammoths and they only spawn when you have the quest but there are a lot and you can skin them, i made good amount of gold since you can pull big groups.
Do you know the name of the quest?

Yeah ofc its just more benefitial to work and pay via credit card. But that defeats the purpose. Atleast with mindless farming/flipping ah etc etc its like you earned those coins, via in game, to purchase that gear.

good video but as they nerfed the drops now (whelps drop leather scarps) it doesnt worth it anymore , only if you do it in hc
The best class to do it is Paladin l, I did it with 5.3 gs pala skining and enchanting. Sacred shield and Seal of Light. It goes slower but doable. After 4 t 10.5 6k gs AOE SEAL and sacred shield + instant flash light procin 15 mins 5 runs down
Do you think normal gear it's enough? Or Heroic or Raid gear?

Hey. So here you wanted to maximize gold per hour and your characters were geared. What about a wotlk classic alt situation? Do you think boomies will be able to do that farm (even if it takes twice as much time) in 5man hc + few naxx pieces levels of gear ?
Been playing on Frostmourne for 2-3 weeks now, got 3 or 4 arctic furs for the whole time, seriously low drop on the server. Also nearest mailbox is in the Fizzcrank airstrip.
That's exactly why the price is good, if it drops more the price will go down so it looks cool.

Seems they reduced the amount of leather you gain and also arctic fur so it's good as any other farm point.

A friend of mine did it on a rogue which means it's doable. 6k is safe I'd say to do it without too much torture.

All the ones you see in the vid + Shadow Priest, a friend of mine also did it on a rogue for some time
so 15 days for 10 hours equals as a Shadowmourne? Damn... I dont know if I can do that :D

Is it better to farm oculus or ahn kahet for skinning? On icecrown realm it feels like icy dragonsscale is waay cheaper then nerubian chitin, also, it looks like there is more spiders which means more borean leather from 1run then 1run in occulus. Idk arctic fur drop tho it is like 1 in 5run as well...can do all mobs around 1st boss in 4.30-5min with 6.8ret

I wouldn't say so, you can farm eternal fires if you don't have some of these, it's hard to gear up just for this

It will be impossible to do until you get solid gear unfortunately, I'd say mid Ulduar probably

Savory Deviate Recipe is also a lot more rare now sadly. used to get like 5-6 of those recipes an hour.
at same spot im now lucky to even get 1 in an hour.
the recipes go for like 700g-1k gold ish.
is there any difference between heroic and normal for arctic fur drop rate ?
They nerfed everything. The only good way is to have someone with LW turn your skins into arctic. That way you don’t lose the difference in price.
From which gs is it doable playing retri?
I did it when my ret was 5.8k GS, it was slow but still doable

Sure, there's a coin system on Warmane with which you can buy gear from the shop. You can either just straight up buy the coins with cash (I think SM is about 150 euro) or sell gold to people who buy them with coins which you get in return. As I'm unemployed you can guess with which one I went.

@@issadraco532 You only thought of it from your perspective. Try living in Serbia with no job, where you can bust your ass in McDonalds for 300 euro a month or sit at home and grind SM. I prefer the Oculus.
