Wait what the hell.. do NOT eat raw snails.
Rat lung worm disease is an extremely rare cause of meningitis in Australia. It is associated with eating infected snails and slugs.
Sorry to alarm, but cook snails first.

Boil your snails first kids, dont eat them raw, not very safe.
