Had my 2017 MT09 for just over a year and nearly 20000 kms. Really loving the bike. Done plenty to it to bring it into focus, including a pipe and remap by Tuneboy, removed unnecessary weight like that packaging that holds the rear plate, but most importantly put an ohlins on the rear. The throttle is now smooth, it handles the rough Victorian roads and I cannot imagine a need for anything bigger or more powerful. The new SP will be a worthy update.

It said that this was filmed in Albury, is there an authorized dealer there who carries a full range?
I live in Wagga Wagga and want to travel to Albury to buy an MT-03 in a few months, hopefully a 2017 model of MT-03 will be revealed.

Actually the gray/neon is available in Canada. So it's just the US that doesn't get the colour.

Perfect, when your doing a test on a new model concentrate on the jackets and boots of the knobs riding it. From this I learned NOTHING the lack of information was astonishing
Old MT/FZ09 was a sht bike with an amazing engine. Looks like they finally built a good body to wrap around the engine. I will have to give it another look when it hits the showroom floors. Very promising from what I've read and heard so far. Love my current FZ07. Wanted the 09 originally but it just sucked minus the engine.

Tested one out today. Wasnt impressed. I guess i watched to many youtube videos of people hyping it up so much. Didnt pull as hard as i expected.
Well your the first person to say that about the MT09 3 cylinder engine. I take it you must be a Motogp rider, lol.
David Cowley no actually didn't pay any attention to which mode I was in. Guessing it was in B mode with traction control all the way on. Went back and test rode it again in A mode with no traction control and it put a smile on my face and ended up buying it. Just did my first oil change on it last week. Also installed the quick shifter and the small windshield and the comfort seat.
David Cowley would the extra torque from the MT-10 make me even more happy? Yes.... Is the extra price worth the little extra power which comes with less fuel economy? Not to me...
chad hammond the MT10 is an entirety different animal and is more than a “little” more power lol.
im just dislikeing the back of the bike... i mean tire is ok its big like 600-750 super sport wich is nice sunspensio too is good, front is good from side bike looks good like muscle naked just that back seat... that passanger seat is what in my eyes realy destroys bke... i like the looks of real fz1n not mt real one 2003 r1 engine, that looks i like, realy agresive and sporty, this one looks more like giraphy,,,, like some cross... like yamaha xtx.... and thats not naked... or streetfighter,,, i purschased one mt09, i wanted to sell my fz1n 2008 year but i wond thats why i took me so long to get money for this one, just couse i will change that tail.. to look like real naked bike, couse naked bike is actualy super sport without mask... and little higher sitting position more comfy, this one is like dirt bike... i will got about a week job to change that looks and little sunspension... :D
