This is probably a great start to getting it into HomeBridge. Nvidia is the best when you add a solid state hard drive and use it for internal storage 😁

Hello. I installed the TinyCam Pro on my Nvidia Shield Pro and added my Eufy outdoor camera but can't get to stream it? The Nvidia Shield is on ethernet and cam on wifi. Cod you please help me out? 🙏

I am new to smart home technology and eventually I will have a fire he 10 wall mounted with sharptools. My cameras are the Lorex 4K, my question is you said that the nvidia shield will be needed especially if viewing on a fire tablet, so if I have the tablet wall mounted where does the nvidia go?
Your Nvidia Shield just needs to be on the same network as your Fire Tablet and then you will be able to access your streams. Mine is just where I use it to watch movies and tv shows.
I am running 2 Fire HD 10's, Fire HD 8, Lorex 4K (7) and Wyze Cam (6) on a Nvidia Shield Pro and it has been working pretty good. Plug your Nvidia shield into your router or switch.

This doesn't work anymore. I have an old 2017 and brand new 2019 Sheid and when I set up the cameras it keeps asking for 2-factor authentication when I don't have that set up on my account. It has been a known problem for months now! I even tried enabling 2-factor authentication but it still doesn't work! I think they broke something with the new sheid update........ I guess I have to go back to my Firestick that still works but I have 6 cameras and it overheats and is so slow!
I don’t think so because there is not many options to choose from. It automatically saves them to the designated location. But you could use a file manager to move them from that location to your SD card. I also have a video coming out that shows you how to connect your computer to your Nvidia shield that way you can transfer files to and from the Nvidia shield by using your computer.
Won't connect. Video failed(check username and password) **deleted and scanned for cams and it popped up Now it only shows feed for about a second and says that channel 1 is bigger than number ofavailable cameras. Then it closes the app ** update 2. I fixed it. Went to tiny cam settings, video, and changed decoder to Hardware+

I am into my new home setup. This is what I was looking for... however I have a question. So, it seems that I need an additional piece of hardware to install Tinycam pro? which one you recommend? Nvidia Shield?
You can install it on any Android device but the Nvidia Shield has great performance and you can use it for streaming and games. Maybe try it on a cheaper device like an tablet first to be sure you can see your cameras.
pro tip - if adding more than one of the same manufacturer camara.. just use the "Copy" function on every new camera..that way you don't have to add the credentials again... then, simply change the channel for each of them.
Love your video for tiny cam pro, but no matter how much I try it will only pick up camera 1 and I have 4 , prob doesn't help that my cameras unknown, and when it's picks up camera 1 name comes up as one long number, give up now, but very good video

My tinyCam Monitor PRO (2022) version has a completely different UI than your (2020) setup. And, my setup doesn't work. Will not connect or even see my actively running Wyze cams.

Thanks David! You can use any android device even phones but the Nvidia Shield is the recommendation from the developer and very powerful. It’s also great for all other streaming applications like Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Plex, Kodi, and evening games. If you have another android box you could try that also. If you only have a few cameras it may be fine on a weaker device.
You can do recording using Tiny Cam and it will record to the hard drive of the device you are running the software. But you are better off recording using the software of the actual camera or recording using an SD card that goes into a camera.
Great video! I have (1) Wyze cam and (3) Indoor Nest Cameras, but after watching your video, I have decided to get rid of the Nest cameras and have ordered (3) replacement Wyze cameras. I can't seem to get the Nest Cameras to work with SharpTools, but the Wyze cam works great. I am having one problem though, with the Nvidia Shield Tiny Cam app. I have two Shields and when I access the Tiny Cam from the other Shield, the link in Sharptools gets broken. I have to keep going to the original Shield and turn on the WebServer in Tiny Cam. Any thoughts?
Each TinyCam app is running separate so you would only want to use the web server on one of the Nvidia Shields. You can still view the cameras on both. Let me know if that fixes your issues!
Hi I tried doing this with my Eufy cameras (doorbell and floodlight) but now the Eufy app doesn’t provide notifications. Is there a way that I can fix this?
I find that they are slow to connect when on batteries but if they are getting constant power the should be working ok. Can you see them in the Arlo app or online at Arlo well?
Strange. I don’t have mine connected now since mine are old and only use poor rechargeable batteries. I might try to readd it and see if it works again.
Very comprehensive video. I actually purchased the software because of you so thank you. Do you know of any apps that allow you to use your NVR interface on a shield? I have 8 cams. Usually when I put the ip of the nvr, which is on the 192.x.x range , I can view all the cams since the nvr is a pass through to all the cams on 10.x.x network. I can only see a single camera channel at a time. Yes, I can enter the ip 8 times and change the channel for each. Any ideas?
Once you create one camera you can actually copy it and just change the camera number. I plan on setting up an NVR system at my house once I have the money to buy the cameras. I plan on using Amcrest and Blue Iris to get the best of both worlds.

You can use the Blue Iris program. I plan on building an amazing camera security system with it so it will link up with SharpTools and SmartThings all in one.

Unfortunately, this method will not work if your cameras are not on the list.

It should work if Eufy is in the TinyCam pro and you have logged in with your account.

Ok. Maybe try a different camera number. I think when I was adding Arlo cameras the camera number was important to load in the correct stream.

If you can download the app of the camera you should be able to control it just the same.

Oh, so this may be the dual authentication for your Wyze account. So you might have to disable that on your Wyze account.

You may be over riding your first camera with your second camera. Make sure that the camera numbers are different.

I’m not sure exactly what that means but if you contact tiny cam pro support I bet they will tell you how you can connect them.

Blue iris is a good option for sure. I have the software but I have not heard my cameras to it yet. I plan on making a video in the future.

Is there a cheaper alternative to using Nvidia? It's a bit on the expensive side.
You can use any android device but the performance may not be as good.

It’s the best media player so you can use it for all of your media streaming needs. I have three and never looked back.
