it was also basicly impossible to destroy. the only way to destroy it was to send it into a black holl. turbo lasers? not even a scratch, center of a gas giant? cakewalk, supernova explosion? nop. it was insainly durable and they acctualy needed to send it into a black holl to get rid of it in the end. empire tried the turbo laser, the new republic tried hiding it in the middle of a gas giant and it directly surived a super nova explosion. so yea defenitly the scariest of it because its size and insane durability and even when out of star killing amo it could be used as a weapon itself destroying any captial ship just by raming it and not even leaving a scatch in the "paint" on the ship.

The Star Forge is easily the most terrifying with how it's semi-alive thanks to the power of the Dark Side of the Force and how it can create whole armies and fleets using the energy siphoned from a star.
The Suncrusher is the Star Wars equivalent of preteen kids playing war and arguing over who won... "I shot you! You're dead!" "Nuh-uh! I've got armour!" "Nuh-uh! I shot you with a laser that can blow up planets!" "Yeah? Well I've got super mega armour that can resist that! And I've got missiles that can blow up stars!" "That's cheating!" "Is not!" "Is too!..."

I love how center point station just took all the black holes not needed for the inherent structure of a galaxy and threw them into a random ass corner. Made a livable galaxy, removed a few hazards, and was responsibly destroyed to prevent its potential deployment as a weapon, I’d say it’s a tool of super-creation rather than a super weapon by intention
One (only ONE) nice thing about Disney resetting the canon is there are only 3 superweapons now. The Death Star 1 and 2 & Starkiller Base. In the EU, it seemed like every book or comic or video game had a new superweapon from Palpatine or some other Dark Side user.

The Xysten star destroyers are the scariest ones to me since they are legion. They could hang the sword of damacles over the heads of all the core worlds at once, or even blend in with other star destroyers.
In my school vr game, The Star Forge was restored and altered (instead of army creation, it corrupts other planets and spread it to others through solid dark matter) and it took a lot to take it down (Multiple Mandolorion star fighters, The Jedi Order, The Illuminate race and 1 Triadian for good measures)
I still don't understand why Kanan and Ahsoka were so ashamed of the massacre of Malachor if the Jedi were just victims of it. It's almost as if they thought some ancient Jedi had used it in battle to kill the whole planet, including their own allies.
I always loved the World Devastators, especially with the fluff making it sound like the Empire barely had control over the things. Xystons were a good concept, but they really needed a bit more cool design and not so painfully obvious weakness maybe ape a little off the Eclipse or Silencer/Gauntlet designs from SWTOR. Sun Crusher, its just silly levels of overpowered.
Really thought episode 9 was going to be a recreation of star forge. It would have made sense with everything that happened and better explained palpitine. He could have been a cyborg like grecious created by the station through hate and repaired itself.

I think it’s just cannon in Star Wars that technologically they hit the point of diminishing returns; it was in theory possible to advance tech further, but at such enormous cost that nobody had the capital-financial, political, or otherwise, to actually do anything. The Death Star was only possible because palpatine was a dictator wielding the entire empire’s budget.
Quick note about the Darksaber: its abilities are entirely theoretical. Durga cheaped out so much when he built it that it was functionally the superweapon equivalent of the Cybertruck.
The Omega Frost is such a deep cut that I didn't even know about it. My favorite is the Star Forge. Yeah, blowing stuff up is neat and all, but if you want to conquer the galaxy having an unlimited army of droids and a giant navy of whatever ship you have the blueprints for seems much more effective.
I'm going to say the Galaxy Gun for this one. Assuming that the Galaxy gun can actually move between shots, that means it's literally a giant piece of galactic range artillery with variable payloads ranging from planetary destruction to precision city strikes.
a note about the star forge. it's also self-regenerating/rebuilding. In the old republic mmo, there was a version/variant of the star forge that resurfaced. Turns out if you preserve the proper parts of the star forge, it will eventually repair/rebuild itself. Revan gave some aliens what he referred to as the "infinite engine". it was small enough to hold in your palm back then, then by the events of the mmo it was big enough to produce food, water and defensive droids for it's caretakers. if allowed to epand, it would have become an entirely new star forge.

Designed by an ancient and nihilistic scientist from planet Shawken, the machine could supposedly obliterate not just a planet or system but the entire universe. Thus, its use as a weapon is limited, as any activation would destroy its users. Still, it was activated shortly after Episode 6, though Luke manages to shut down the machine, noting he wasn't sure if the device was a fraud or if it simply needed time to charge. Even if authentic, it's essentially a militarily-worthless suicide machine, but in terms of raw firepower, the Shawken is the ultimate force in Star Wars.

I like to think that, normally, I don't get excited about the silliest, most ridiculous, options, but I've been a big fan of the Sun Crusher since the late 90s, and I can't see that changing. 😊 It's both paradoxically small, and yet contained almost limitless destructive potential. It could probably be stored in most Star Destroyer hangars, if you wanted to appear as just an average fleet appearing, and letting the little ship approach a star unnoticed. Most systems didn't defend their patent stars; why would they need to, and it could even survive the supernova shockwave, or combat with anything trying to block it from its target star. It's just so silly. Each resonance torpedo cost like more than the Death Star, and it carried 12, meaning any concept of paying for their superweapons went out the window. What? You dropped it into Jupiter? Well, it might be hard to get back, unless a Jedi, but don't worry; it's still there, and fine.😊 I'm relatively certain it did even survive the black hole, and was just found by the Vedrans, of Andromeda fame, who then mass-produced resonance torpedoes into nova bombs, for their Highguard ships of the line.
In the Disney canon, the Xyston-class Star Destroyers were absoluely something to dread, as they were smaller than Executor-class Star Dreadnoughts (with the Xyston-class's length being 2,406 meters, in contrast to the 19,000 meter length of the Executor-class), yet those axial superlasers were capable of destroying planets.
If I had to choose 2 or 3 for a personalized Imperial remnant, it would likely be the World Devastators as my frontline super weapons due to their practicality and either the Galaxy Gun or Starkiller Base as my long range asset denial Superweapon. The reason for discarding the others can stem from ridiculous capability (Sun Crusher, Xyston) to inferior capability or vulnerability (Death Stars, Omega Frost) and lastly, prone to self-defeating or lack of understanding on its true capability (Star Forge, Malachor, Centerpoint).
Personally, I’m not fond of having an ultimate galatic super weapon of the week in Star Wars. It feels like it undermines the entire point of having a super weapon because if they’re all unique, then none of them are. How can I care about the original Death Star when there are literal dozens of others that perform the exact same role?
The super-sized Star Destroyers and battle stations in the Star Wars universe remind me of the Japanese manga and anime mecha "super robots". Will we ever see such super robots in Star Wars? 😋
The Death Stars and Star Killer Base are both scary planet killer weapons but the Malacor Sith Temple left hundreds of thousands of Jedi and Sith scorched and frozen in time during one battle there's nothing more scarier than that
I thought the Killik created Centerpoint Station. Which is pretty much a giant Tug Boat that moves anything and everything it wants from Planets to Stars to Black Holes.
They did, along with Sinkhole Station. They were used to create the Maw, a cluster of black holes. After Centerpoint Station was destroyed, it allowed Abeloth to escape from her imprisonment in the Maw. At least, that's what I remember. Unless someone else can elaborate further, as my knowledge is limited on this subject.

its ironic that the Xyphon class not only its gun is destructive but its own achilles heel but overall Suncrushers are by far most destructive, get a squadron of those and they can wipe out a star fleet in minutes unscathed

I think the most terrifying would be any of the small Sith relics that can corrupt their user, I mean the Star forge was big and protected but think if one of those took over Yoda or Luke
The Star Forge and Sun Crusher seem like the two most terrifying. I’d also go with Darth Nihilus, because he was created by a wound in the force caused by the Mass Shadow Generator, a weapon created by the Star Forge. I’m also not sure if the Dark Staff counts, but that also seems like it would be terrifying.
A honorable mention: Sith Empire's Silencer (similar to Xyston star destroyer), Gauntlet (hyperspace cannon). The Eternal Fleet, Zildrog/Gravestone and the Six Gods. Also Aries's super weapon on Iokath. Corsair (Derriphan-class battle ship) - Naga Sadow's flagship. Was capable of destroying stars.
Apprantly professionals calculated the damage star killer base should've had, and with the power of the harvested Sun, it should've been able to destroy thousands of planets.
The star forces my favorite super weapon since it's a weapon of Creation , while the others focus on the destruction. And with account allows creativity to a Mass Power!
The Galaxygun and the Suncrusher in my opinion was the most terrifying weapons, the Galaxygun as it could hit literally anywhere with its missiles and the Suncrusher as it could destroy a star even. The most powerful though would have to be the Centrepoint Station.
What about the Temple of Sacrifice? A temple capable of wiping out life on the planet. Sure it is stuck on Yavin 4, but it's power is still terrifying for those unfortunate enough to get caught in the blast. The scariest part about it would be the fact that it looks like most of the other Massassi temples on Yavin 4 so no one would be the wiser until it was too late.
The most terrifing one to me is the sun crusher. Small, compact, but virtually invincible and posseses the power to destroy a SOLAR SYSTEM. If this was used in the original star wars saga the rebel empire would be totally screwed over.
I liked the idea of the star destroyers in episode 9 but they really didn’t do themselves any favours with their utilisation. Kajimi is not a planet we care about. Now if they decided to go with destroying Naboo, Tatooine or Endor I feel we would’ve cared more since we actually care about those planets. Each of those 3 planets would mean something to Palpatine and were actually important planets.
Yeah it would have meant more if we actually saw some of them leave the planet. The battle would have been like a three part battle. We would have gotten the confrontation of Rey and the surface battle of exegol and then we would see some try and fight the star destroyers that left before they reached valuable planets
the thing i super hate about them is that the comics show they were under construction between episode 4 and 6. with several hulls at least almost finished. for me what is even the point making the second death star, as they could have rushed the xystin into servce if they wasnt making thousands of them, just one or 2 of them would have been enough as they were so moble expecally if you have one in the middle of death squadren. and even if the rebels take out the ship they were being build in such a remote location teh rebels would have no idea where to even start to stopping more from being constructed

death star. which in the lego star wars the skywalker saga you can unlock both death stars as star ships. you have to complete 2 specific side missions to get em but i don't remember where they are.
I personally think The Star Forge is the most dangerous because of its primary function, to produce a literal infinite supply of war material if close to a star/sun combined with the dark side of the force. Imagen what would happen if *ANY* Earth countries got their hands on that thing, attrition will simply no longer be a factor in their military planning; if used more intelligently it can easily be used to conquer dozens or even HUNDREDS of Galaxies; yes the loss of a planet is devastating, but very theoretically The Star Forge can produce a literal infinite number of planet killers because of its primary function. Like imagen a armada of Xyston-Class Star Destroyers stuffed with Commando Droids, Droidikas and Sun Crushers. . that's what we would potentially see if used more intelligently. Thank the Star Wars gods that that thing was blown up before Palpatine could get his hands on it, overwise the whole of reality would be screwed.
Didn't mention that the chads who get to fly the sun crusher are han solo and Chewbacca. Sadly this happened in the same book where the millennium falcon was put down for good
World devastators have a wonderful grey goo quality to them, the omega frost would just make you constantly paranoid if it existed, malachor is some Fromsoftware terrifying worldbuilding nonsense, and Starkiller base is judgement regardless of location. Hard to pick a favorite among them
Well technically if you combine the Mass Shadow Generator with the Exile, you basically kill the force and everyone who is connected to it in the Universe. But i don't know if this would count.
The power of the starkiller was VERY reduced in the film because by absorbing the star energy it would have been easly capable of destroying multiple solarsistems

I like to think that, normally, I don't get excited about the silliest, most ridiculous, options, but I've been a big fan of the Sun Crusher since the late 90s, and I can't see that changing. 😊 It's both paradoxically small, and yet contained almost limitless destructive potential. It could probably be stored in most Star Destroyer hangars, if you wanted to appear as just an average fleet appearing, and letting the little ship approach a star unnoticed. Most systems didn't defend their patent stars; why would they need to, and it could even survive the supernova shockwave, or combat with anything trying to block it from its target star. It's just so silly. Each resonance torpedo cost like more than the Death Star, and it carried 12, meaning any concept of paying for their superweapons went out the window. What? You dropped it into Jupiter? Well, it might be hard to get back, unless a Jedi, but don't worry; it's still there, and fine.😊 I'm relatively certain it did even survive the black hole, and was just found by the Vedrans, of Andromeda fame, who then mass-produced resonance torpedoes into nova bombs, for their Highguard ships of the line.
In the Disney canon, the Xyston-class Star Destroyers were absoluely something to dread, as they were smaller than Executor-class Star Dreadnoughts (with the Xyston-class's length being 2,406 meters, in contrast to the 19,000 meter length of the Executor-class), yet those axial superlasers were capable of destroying planets.
If I had to choose 2 or 3 for a personalized Imperial remnant, it would likely be the World Devastators as my frontline super weapons due to their practicality and either the Galaxy Gun or Starkiller Base as my long range asset denial Superweapon.
The reason for discarding the others can stem from ridiculous capability (Sun Crusher, Xyston) to inferior capability or vulnerability (Death Stars, Omega Frost) and lastly, prone to self-defeating or lack of understanding on its true capability (Star Forge, Malachor, Centerpoint).

Personally, I’m not fond of having an ultimate galatic super weapon of the week in Star Wars. It feels like it undermines the entire point of having a super weapon because if they’re all unique, then none of them are. How can I care about the original Death Star when there are literal dozens of others that perform the exact same role?

Like it or hate it, the sun crusher was a pretty deadly weapon. Especially when paired with a pilot having a dark side mental breakdown.
The Death Stars and Star Killer Base are both scary planet killer weapons but the Malacor Sith Temple left hundreds of thousands of Jedi and Sith scorched and frozen in time during one battle there's nothing more scarier than that

I thought the Killik created Centerpoint Station. Which is pretty much a giant Tug Boat that moves anything and everything it wants from Planets to Stars to Black Holes.
They did, along with Sinkhole Station. They were used to create the Maw, a cluster of black holes. After Centerpoint Station was destroyed, it allowed Abeloth to escape from her imprisonment in the Maw. At least, that's what I remember. Unless someone else can elaborate further, as my knowledge is limited on this subject.

I think the most terrifying would be any of the small Sith relics that can corrupt their user, I mean the Star forge was big and protected but think if one of those took over Yoda or Luke
The Star Forge and Sun Crusher seem like the two most terrifying. I’d also go with Darth Nihilus, because he was created by a wound in the force caused by the Mass Shadow Generator, a weapon created by the Star Forge. I’m also not sure if the Dark Staff counts, but that also seems like it would be terrifying.

The Galaxygun and the Suncrusher in my opinion was the most terrifying weapons, the Galaxygun as it could hit literally anywhere with its missiles and the Suncrusher as it could destroy a star even.
The most powerful though would have to be the Centrepoint Station.
What about the Temple of Sacrifice? A temple capable of wiping out life on the planet. Sure it is stuck on Yavin 4, but it's power is still terrifying for those unfortunate enough to get caught in the blast. The scariest part about it would be the fact that it looks like most of the other Massassi temples on Yavin 4 so no one would be the wiser until it was too late.

The most terrifing one to me is the sun crusher. Small, compact, but virtually invincible and posseses the power to destroy a SOLAR SYSTEM. If this was used in the original star wars saga the rebel empire would be totally screwed over.
I liked the idea of the star destroyers in episode 9 but they really didn’t do themselves any favours with their utilisation. Kajimi is not a planet we care about. Now if they decided to go with destroying Naboo, Tatooine or Endor I feel we would’ve cared more since we actually care about those planets. Each of those 3 planets would mean something to Palpatine and were actually important planets.
Yeah it would have meant more if we actually saw some of them leave the planet. The battle would have been like a three part battle. We would have gotten the confrontation of Rey and the surface battle of exegol and then we would see some try and fight the star destroyers that left before they reached valuable planets
the thing i super hate about them is that the comics show they were under construction between episode 4 and 6. with several hulls at least almost finished. for me what is even the point making the second death star, as they could have rushed the xystin into servce if they wasnt making thousands of them, just one or 2 of them would have been enough as they were so moble expecally if you have one in the middle of death squadren. and even if the rebels take out the ship they were being build in such a remote location teh rebels would have no idea where to even start to stopping more from being constructed

I personally think The Star Forge is the most dangerous because of its primary function, to produce a literal infinite supply of war material if close to a star/sun combined with the dark side of the force.
Imagen what would happen if *ANY* Earth countries got their hands on that thing, attrition will simply no longer be a factor in their military planning; if used more intelligently it can easily be used to conquer dozens or even HUNDREDS of Galaxies; yes the loss of a planet is devastating, but very theoretically The Star Forge can produce a literal infinite number of planet killers because of its primary function. Like imagen a armada of Xyston-Class Star Destroyers stuffed with Commando Droids, Droidikas and Sun Crushers. . that's what we would potentially see if used more intelligently. Thank the Star Wars gods that that thing was blown up before Palpatine could get his hands on it, overwise the whole of reality would be screwed.

World devastators have a wonderful grey goo quality to them, the omega frost would just make you constantly paranoid if it existed, malachor is some Fromsoftware terrifying worldbuilding nonsense, and Starkiller base is judgement regardless of location. Hard to pick a favorite among them

The power of the starkiller was VERY reduced in the film because by absorbing the star energy it would have been easly capable of destroying multiple solarsistems

Another weapon, one I'd actually rate *ABOVE* the Death Stars i and ii is the Eclipse class superweapon/SSD, as it combines a sturdy frame of a SSD, stronger than a Executor by miles(only destroyed by internal sabotage) along with it's mobility with a Death Star laser which was only slightly less powerful than a DS equivalent, more conventional turbolasers than an Executor and more
The Sun Crusher destroys stars but it does more than that since it also easily destroys star destroyers, so its both an actual star destroyer and a star destroyer destroyer. 😂
