This album is the most complete to me musically because it kind of fill a void that I had from the absence of older YG groups such as 2ne1 and BB. It gives me nostalgia because I kept on being reminded on an older YG sound? Or is it just me? And in no way am I saying that BP are copying any other groups, I’m simply saying that there is definitely a YG vibe to their music as many songs are produced by the same producers. I loved this album a lot and I feel like they divided the parts pretty fairly this time. Jisoo’s getting more line and Lisa is singing!!! What a revolution lol Anyway hopefully their next comeback will be a full album because I personally feel like it is time for them to have their first full album!

For me.. this album is focusing to their vocal more.. most of the side B track is more focusing to their vocal.. YG want us to focus to their vocal and as their artists is versatile.. I’m proud with the rapping line because their vocal abilities very stand out in the B side track.. this my opinion through out this album..
Absolutely! This album conveys more emotions than the last one and I'm actually glad that they focused more on vocal for once, it's a way to show how, as you said, versatile the girls are. ^^

I feel like I've seen more negative reactions to this album than positive yet I'm over here like "finally, a Blackpink release I can really get into!" So I definitely agree with you that it's probably not going to be their most popular but in my case it's certainly the one I like the most.
Blackpink is one of those groups I expected to fall in love with immediately and while I've enjoyed what I've heard, nothing made me really want to consider myself a stan or buy an album. This one I need a little more time with but I can definitely see it going that direction.
I also really like the remix lmao but I've always been a big fan of remixes no matter how much I might love the original mix of a song. It's like a new life and spin on an old favorite.
It's not surprising that this album felt short for some people because as I said in the video, it holds an "older" YG vibes that new fans might not be used to or be able to fully enjoy (which I can understand) but for me this really ties everything together. I was missing that "older" YG identity sound from them and now that they're giving it to me I'm really feeling full again lol
This album combined to square up is a great combination of more modern and older yg sound !
Some of the negative comments are coming from the haters. And blinks with high expectation. I didn't expect much on KTL. I didn't like the song at first. But the more I listen to it. The more it gets beautiful.
Not as catchy as the other song. But it's a powerful one. Has a deeper meaning and has a lot of emotion. Songs doesn't need to be catchy.
I think my fave song would be Kick it .
Lisa's voice is my favorite. I'm glad she finally get a chance to showcase vocals.

So, I added all of BP's songs + covers + collabs/Jennie's solo and a concert would be about 63 minutes of music content which is pretty good!
