My favorite thing about OG Broly is how cool his character is despite everything surrounding him. A terrible backstory. 1 decent-ish movie and 2 garbage sequels. All of his losses are to the protagonists' plot armor. And he still managed to be the most hype of the movie villains. The power of character design at work.
Btw the reason his hair was blue/purple is because his control device limits/suppresses his true power which is why it makes his regular super saiyan form look blue.
