I just started watching playing CSII and I’m loving your explanations on why you do somethings you do. It really help me understand what I should keep in mind in my own city.
Excellent start to a new city. I noticed that your elementary school is full up. Might need to add some extensions and possibly another school. You could also use some parks through out the city and some parking near the stadiums. Really wish CS2 had the fishing industry. Feels like the newest town should have it. Also some hotels for tourists. Also some more ploppable assets like grocery stores and gas stations.
Looking great dude, One thing I do a little differently though is with fields as when you look at fields in reality they are optimised so tractors and combines go round them efficiently so they don't wind about much they are quite straight or slightly curved, some are even quite square. The game doesn't help with this because I feel the scaling is off same with some of the larger assets their scaling is way off., To make the fields, about the right size, the buildings are far too big, I suppose this is because the whole game is geared very much to The US and my country being so so much smaller (UK) we have much smaller farms. When you look over our agriculture areas like Lincolnshire for an example the whole county looks like a patchwork quilt. This brings up another issue I have with the agriculture in the game, We simply don't have farm builds on every field. In fact there are many, many fields between farms mostly, you do get farm houses closer together sometimes but that is very rare and really only on the outskirts of older villages and those are really small holdings, where family's have lived there for donkeys years and they only supply themselves or local butchers say, So I see the only way to get around this is by using a mod to place fields with surface tools and use of hedgerows. I hope CO add their own surface painter to the game, but I doubt they will, or they would have put it in the base game.
I love your build! I really don't like how the game handles zoning on curved roads. Zones always break if you do anything i.e upgrading, adding an intersecting road, or even adding paths. It is super frustrating, imo, especially when it dezones a level five building. I hope the first official mod will be a zone controller so the player can choose if there are zones, and how deep, for example if you have a collector and a parallel local road you can give precedence to the local road instead of building off the collector. I also find the alley roads have weird zoning preferences and break even if perpendicular or gridded
Love this series man i kinda built one along with this series and im up to 130k but running out of map room and i dont know if my pc can handle any more
With my new design of 4 city blocks with a specially designed interchange and loop. That can handle up to 100k in traffic so far. I could fit maybe 20-30 on a map. But that’s just a guesstimate.
Hey Tim can you please add a stadium like a basketball arena or a American football stadium. I don’t know if the game even has that because I don’t have it but if they do please add it
unironically my fav series on yt like watching this while eating panda express before a 2 hr chem lecture hits the spot
Same bro. Very relaxing
How was the lecture
@@Cr0ss0verYT nothing special, but there was a kid eating a full rotisserie chicken in the front row which was kinda cool
@@fatherindia4810 nice
That little tiny peninsula at 8:42, you should put a pedestrian road and a roundabout at the end to make a little viewpoint!
I can't believe you know Lunenburg, Nova Scotia! I'm there every summer!

I don't know Nova Scotia, but the city looks really good. Your Cities Skylines 2 videos are great. big fan from Brazil
Oi malandro! Muito obrigado!

You might need to scale down but I’m sure you’ll figure it out
It's turning out wonderful it's keeping me checking back gj

First person drive to explore the city?
I think now that there's so many city's you should rename it to bixton metro area it would be more appropriate .
I wish i could play the game but I have xbox so i'll have to wait a bit
the best cities skylines 2 city on yt!!! I wish this city was real and I could see it on street level. you inspire a lot!
Make a secondary domestic airport in quincy harbor to reduce payload on a single airport just like many tri-city metro cities.
Hell yeah another maritimer, NB🤙🤙
No way!! I’m in NS and I’m close-ish to Lunenburg
So it IS possible to play this game and have a girlfriend
You should give Sunnyside a train station
34:21 Concorde lane!
[Only aviators understand me]
The plane…😢
F in the chat for the droop snoop
I already build one megapolis, 3 small town and 4 villages.
"Starting a THIRD city on ONE map" its like you couldnt do this befor... oh wait you could in the previous game too.
You could if you had mods that allowed you to unlock all the areas but I was an Xbox pleb
Hey Tim can you please add a stadium like a basketball arena or a American football stadium. I don’t know if the game even has that because I don’t have it but if they do please add it
when is CC and the workshop coming to this game, its way to vanilla
They really need to improve zoning in this game. It wasn't amazing in CS1 but somehow it seems far worse in this game
I live in Dartmouth
Hey, are you from Nova Scotia?
New Brunswick
@@Timeister Part of My family is from up that way.
man coca cola is still better
Keep building up more towns, you might need a BART system. Let the subways be shared between two neighboring cities while the BART connects everyone.
Wich map do you use
Tampere map, but you had to preorder the game if you want to play in this map
@@finnishballmapping thanks
Bro clean up your city it very cluttered at the moment. But I love your work.
Nah man this is 100% the best city on yt
