  • Ohuhu versus Tombow! So in this video, I will be doing a comparison/marker review. The subject of this video is Ohuhu Dual Brush Pens Vs. Tombow Dual Brush Pens. I first purchased the Tombow's and then realized Ohuhu had similar markers to the Tombow's so of course I had to check them out and compare them. I hope you enjoy this comparison and that it helps you decided which you like better. Let me know in the comments below!

    Honestly I think the Tombow version turned out better. I think the blending and shading was smoother and the vibrancy of the yellows is beautiful. I also prefer the more peachy skin tone of the Tombow markers, but that’s not really Ohuhu’s fault. Do you think with the same techniques that Crayola markers could work as well as Tombow?

    Stumbled on this video and I instantly subscribed! I recently bought the same set of Tombows you have because it was 75 percent off from our local bookstore that recently got a warehouse sale (super duper steal!!) and I have the hardest time knowing the best way to lay out colors since they are streaky when used as is. So thanks for this video!

    Maybe this will help... you can either take a perm mark and write a number and that’ll separate them and make a color chart easier to see what color goes where or write a number/way for you to identify the markers on a pice of paper and tape it too it in less you have blank sticker paper... you can get a labels sticker sheet at Walmart

    • @tarabooartarmy3654
      @tarabooartarmy3654 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, all of my smaller packs came with a colorless blender. But I don’t use them since they tear paper up like crazy, no matter what kind I’ve tried. Even picking up color off plastic with the colorless blender, it chews the paper up. So I’d rather them NOT include it and just sell it separately. A water brush works much better, IMO. I’d prefer if they just included one more color in each pack.

      TaraBoo Art ARMY I do agree. I've found being light handed and not going over one spot too many times helps with that issue sometimes. I'll be coming out with a video soon on my first impressions with Tombows, when I first received them, and boy, it was not a pleasant experience at first.I went through a few pages of paper, trying to not have the brush eat up the paper. lol
